I used the Moving Doctor for a local move and had a really pleasant experience. They sent 4 men to move our things. We were 80% packed and they did the rest of the packing. They also taped all of our boxes as well. Firstly, they were very friendly, respectful and made the process fun actually. Secondly, they worked very quickly and did an excellent job packing everything and not one thing broke or was damaged at all. They drove the stuff to the new residence and unpacked very quickly as well. They made sure to ask where everything should go before putting anything down. They put together all the furniture and it was just a great move. I am thankful that we used them. The quote was very reasonable the move was done for the price quoted, the movers made the whole thing really pleasant and I will highly reccomend the Moving Doctor to others.

This move involved picking up furniture, boxes etc. from 2 places and delivering it all to another location. All three places were either basements or 2nd floor. a tough move with a lot of heavy items. The Moving Doctor gave us a fair price up front and an estimate of how long it would take. Three courteous, efficient gentlemen show up at the appointed time and were a blur of movement. Obviously professional and took their work seriously. They made the move within the estimated time and went above and beyond in their helpfulness. Honest, efficient and a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend them.

Awful experience. Was quoted $950 on the phone to move a 1BR from LI, NY to south Florida. Final bill came out to $2000. They were over a week late arriving, then somehow forgot 5 pieces of furniture on the truck. So it took another week to get the rest of our stuff. Upon opening the boxes, we found numerous broken picture frames. Definitely avoid the moving doctor.
