This was my first storage facility so i was skeptical about fair pricing, locale, and security. The First thing that drew me to this location was the pricing, it was the best around for a 10 mile radius. So after calling and getting the manager (Bonnie) who was more than willing to answer any and all questions no matter how silly or mundane, I put a deposit down and looked at the unit that they offered. Walking in i saw that it was secure, but not overwhelming to the point that it would attract attention. Sounds silly but think about it, when you walk up to Fort Knox, first you know you are there and second for some silly reason the first thought everyone has is "i bet i could break in there." We know that is false but back to the storage, you know that it is locked down AND it is not attracting too much attention with spotlights and such. The unit when we got in was clean and easily visible the office and any security stations for the individual doing the walk around. As far as the interior there was no indication of any structural damage or weakness so not much chance of leaks. Over all the first day was pretty much perfect, and they even offer the fist month FREE!! But i was really impressed with the service the following month, when i went to pay the next months rent. To clarify i am not much of a conversationalist, despite current evidence, so i like to be able to walk in take care of business, and be on my way. Not that i am being rude, just that i like simplicity. And they offered that simple and pure. A lot of places try to make up for things with overly personal service, i.e. how are the kids, the weather, blah blah. And while it sounds rude they dont need to hear it and i dont want to tell them. I much prefer to keep it a business relationship Hello goodbye and have a nice day are fine with me. Bottom line they have a secure facility, cheap prices, and quick personable not personal service, with a knowledgeable staff. That to me earned 5 stars.

Recently I moved from Farmingville to Wading River. I was moving in with my fiance and together, we just had too many things for one house. I went online to find a safe place to store my items and found Extra Space Storage. When I called, the service I received was outstanding. The woman in the office did everything she could to help me find a drive up unit large enough to hold my items yet not more than what I could afford. After the phone call I went to the facility to take a look and it was well kept, secure and clean. She made sure that I was well informed and made me feel that my belongings were going to be well cared for. I will recommend Extra Space to anyone that is looking for a place to store their extra items. I have been completely satisfied!!!!

We have no complaints about this storage facility. This is our second time using a storage facility. We have had the unit for a few months now. No matter what time we go to our unit, we always find the place clean. We have had no issues about security. I would also like to add that my husband inspected the unit prior to our renting. He was happy with the appearance of the inside of the unit. He found no sign of any potential problem such as water damage. The employee who assisted us the first day was wonderful. She was helpful and curteous. When we ran into a small glich in getting signed up, it was handled quickly, efficitiently and professionally. I would recommend this facility to any one.

Caught between two closings, I needed a place to put my "stuff." I called Extra Space Storage, Mooney Pond Road, Ridge, NY. Bonnie, the Manager, and the gentleman who run this facility were more than helpfull and understanding of my situation. When I went to pick out a unit, I felt I was now part of the Extra Space Storage family. I knew my things were in safe hands and would be looked after. I look forward to my visits there and will miss these two special people who care about their customers and this facility. I will gladly recommend this Extra Space Storage to anyone.

my house sold very first day on the market, new owner wasnt rushing me out but i checked out ESS in ridge and they were so friendly and accommodating.. i signed into a 10x15 immediately and have been there about 4 months, excellent storage place, and theyre GOING GREEN with SOLAR and paperless accounting, excellent excellent, i will go nowhere else for the rest of my life, truly... now, as for google forcing me to put my birthday in to write this review?? as a matter of principal i lied for my birthday and google can--well, you know...

I just rented a new storage place from Extra Space Storage after looking at other places around the area. Even though I live a bit of a distance from it, the drive is definitely worth it. Bill and Brenda were the nicest people to help me. They answered all my questions. I was made to feel as if they knew me for years. Their rates were much more reasonable then you would think possible. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a storage space. Thank you both so very much.

I am a medical sales rep and have been using this storage location for the past 2 years and have had no complaints. The staff is very nice and helpful and they allow me to use the dumpster for broken down boxes and other garbage. It is clean and well maintained. Access is open late at night and early in the morning but its the smiling woman at the desk when you walk in that makes this one of the best storage facilities Ive ever worked with :)

Extra Space Storage is by far the best self storage company on Long Island. Being an owner of a moving company I see and deal with facilities all over Long Island and none come close to the level of service and competitive rates as Extra Space. We actually park our trucks in the Ridge facility and Bill and Brenda (property managers) are the absolute best....always willing to help!

This was the first time I rented a storage unit and Bill made the process very easy. It didnt take long at all to get set up. The facility is very clean and neat. I have an interior unit. There is always a cart for me to use and the door stop keeps the door open so I can load up the cart from my car without having to continuously open the door.

The very nice woman names Brenda was a pleasure to deal with. She made the entire experience very pleasurefull. She explained everything there was. Have it all automated on the computer was nothing short of completely easy for the customer. And again your representave was so nice and polite. I highly recommend using Extra Space Storage.

The storage location to rent from hands down. Brenna is beyond cool and knows her job inside and out she made everything incredibly easy despite my having some extra requests Its clean, modern, the price is competitive, and and the staff is awesome, just go with it, you wont regret it!
