I just relocated from So Carolina and I had a storage unit down there and looked at a few of them when I relocated up here in CT. My search stopped when I found Uncle Bobs in North Haven. I dont write reviews as a norm but this one time did warrant a review. This place is spotless, gated for security and priced right. The staff, Laura & Phil, are very professional yet friendly and addresses all your concerns and questions. I rented 2 climate controlled units and havent regretted it for a second. Save yourself some time and check this place out first, you just might be happy you did.

Superb experience top to bottom. Ive used a number of self storage facilities over the years, and this one is by far the newest and cleanest. Phones answered promptly, minimal sale tactics though clear and concise information as well as pricing given, prices were competitive, paperwork simple with numerous including auto bill CC payments available. I chose climate controlled for my goods, easy access, great heavy duty handcarts, tall clean storage area. All top notch, feels up-scale and associates were friendly and easy to work with. Great Job Uncle Bob!! ;-)

I have been with Uncle Bobs (now Life Storage #028) for over 10 years. Laura and Phil are great caretakers. I know they walk and check every unit to see that units are secure. I have received a call from Phil or Laura alerting me that I had failed to secure my unit on several occasions. When the expansion was occurring, I received timely notification. Laura and Phil were able to relocate me within the property with minimal inconvenience. Every contact nothing but exceptional.
