This raving review is not as much about Extra Space Storage as it is about Reggie one of their employees. I do like ESS as they run a really clean unit in Farmington CT. However, earlier this year I was moving from a 10x20 to a 10x15 unit, I have a nice set 10x4x8 shelves for my storage unit that I knew would fit as perfectly in the new unit as they did in the old unit. Much to my surprise they didnt! When I inquired about this the answer I got from the manager was "Sorry there is nothing we can do about that, the units are not exactly 10Ft they are aproximately 10ft (mine being 9ft 11in ! This seemed a small deal for her but a huge one for me as it reduced my stackable space considerably and it seemed like we were at an impass. In comes Reggie, who had been over hearing the conversation, and says "wait a minute, you know I think we have a few more 10x15 units". as he grabs his measuring tape and says "lets go take some measurements, if some are a tad small maybe some are a tad big". Sure enough after measuring a few under 10 we found one that was 100" exactly! My shelf unit fit perfectly and the unit was closer to the front to boot. Reggie was my CUSTOMER SERVICE hero for the day, he stepped up and went the extra mile for me even when others above him clearly were not. Being in business for many years it was evident to me that Reggie was practicing AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE even if he had not been able to accommodate me, he would have kept me as a customer based on his willingness to put in the effort. My daughter just graduated from college and we needed someplace to store her extra furniture while she searches for a new job. We were pressed for time but Extra Storage Space made our decision of which storage facility to use a no-brainer. From the first phone call that we made the staff was accommodating, supportive and friendly. All of our questions were answered in detail and every follow up correspondence has been just as smooth. Extra Storage Space also didn’t have any hidden charges or stipulations, everything was exactly as they claimed in my initial phone call. Using the facility is easy, convenient and best of all, affordable. I feel secure in leaving my possessions at Extra Storage Place and going to pick up or drop off a new item is always easy. I’m so grateful that with everything else I needed to plan that picking out a storage facility was quick and easy. More companies should be like Extra Storage Space. Thank you so much.

Great customer service. I reserved online even though it told me I couldnt reserve since it was the last of that units type (last unit is first come first served), and the next day got a call to notify me I couldnt really reserve it and cleared up any confusion and actually gave me a price quote then and there. Picked up the unit that weekend. It was clean. Quick check in process. Office hours were great. Went through cancelation procedure, asked about partial months. Canceled a few weeks later, very easy my process. No hassle! Canceling took three minutes.

I arrived there and was greeted right away. The rep helped me find the perfect size space for all of my winter junk. Other places I have been to try to sell me the biggest space possible but here they were professional and their recommendation was spot on. Clearly know what theyre talking about. If you want exceptional customer service at a great price, might wanna go there!

Extra Storage Space has exceeded my expectations for a storage facility. The climate controlled unit I rent has been excellent, no dampness or odor. The facility is extremely clean and always plowed during the winter. Service is always impeccable, and I set my account up to direct payment. No worries with mailing payments..I highly recommend Extra Storage Space.

I rented my storage unit in November of last year and I was concerned about my things surviving through the winter weather. I checked on my things in the spring and everything was as I had left it. The website for online payment and payment reminders is also very useful. I have no complaints about Extra Space!

A great first impression. Reggie showed my husband and I several units before we settled on one and he allowed us to take our time and ask all the questions we needed. We were expecting this to be such a chore but actually had a great time. I will update my review after our first month, but so far so good!

Nice, clean facility with easy to access units. Web reservation price unbeatable compared to several other locations. Nicola was friendly and knowledgeable and took care of all of our needs and concerns. Easy to acquire the unit, will review again at a later date with how easy it is to keep the unit.

It is very convently located and in a safe area. The staff is always nice and friendly. The storage units are clean and secure. In addition the manager at this facility is a very helpful person. He goes out of his way to provide the best service possible and makes sure that his customers are happy

Ive been at this location for over a year now and they have the nicest people in the office. When ever I have a problem Diane or Nez are right there to help me out!! I get a lot of UPS shipped here and they stack it so nicely in my unit. They are the BEST! I would rate them 10 stars if I could!!

I just started using this storage facility and so far everything has been great. The service at the unit was outstanding. Very clean and secure location. I got a good rate so as long as its doesnt balloon or change uncharacteristically quicky, Ill have no issues. I will let you know....

I had my monthly rate increased several times to almost DOUBLE the posted internet price. WOULD VERY MUCH NOT RECOMMEND this place for your storage needs. The company (John -manager for the state of Ct) refused to offer internet price and could only go down to $40 ABOVE the posted price.

I have used this particular location for a few years now and units are always available, clean and easily accessible. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I feel safe storing my valuables here. Plenty of supplies - boxes, bubble wrap, locks, etc. I will use this place again!

I needed some storage space and found Extra Space Storage via a Google search. Since it was nearby, I decided to give it a try. Online rates were better than competitive facilities. Very nice location with good security. The staff was very helpful. Would use them again.

ESS was a wonderful help and I am very impressed with the quality and respect of their employees. Stephon King was the best manager my mother and I have ever had the pleasure of working with and made us feel comfortable to rent here in contrast from other companies.

The people there are amazing! He only reason I didnt give it a 5 star rating is because I have to be out of the rental area by 10:00pm, other wise the cops will be called. Over all they are priced great! And I will be staying here for my storage needs for a while :)
