My Macbook wasnt charging properly and I had a sticky key. Brought it to Apple Store in Danbury. They had it for five days, then told me they would have to send it to repair facility. Minimum charge $800. I took it back and found Advanced Computer Repair near me in Somers. I stopped by. The repair person looked at the USB-C socket (used for charging on new MacBooks) and removed what looked like a small seed that had been blocking the connector. Then he worked on the sticky key. Everything fixed perfectly in less than five minutes. So, I probably dont have to tell you that this place gets my unqualified recommendation.

Chris does a great job at a reasonable price and with friendly service. My desktop was not booting or was booting but then not performing properly. I had tried all sorts of restores with no real fix. He tested the hard drive and memory and confirmed they were OK and then went on to figure out that McAfee was half on and half off, screwing everything up. It couldnt be uninstalled from within the computer itself, but he used an external program to kill it and then install more friendly anti-virus software. Also cleaned up some bloat along the way.
