Service Dept Horrible. Have been going to this dealership for 5 years. Used to love the experience. As of the past year the service has gone downhill significantly. Over the summer we had a NYS inspection. They called us back and recommended over $800 of unneeded repairs and advised our AC hose was clogged. I asked why they were even touching the AC hose and they said they check everything. We declined the AC repair because there was nothing wrong with the hose. A week later our carpet was drenched and had to go back to Toyota to repair. They charged us $140 to fix it. Awful coincidence it never had a problem until they messed with it. This past month we brought our van for an oil change. They recommended we replace all 4 tires. 2 of them were ok so we replaced the two front. Shortly after leaving the service dept our tire inflation warning light came on. Brought the van back a week later and Westbury Toyota made us wait 2 hours to tell us our sensor was now bad and $350 to repair. I asked them if it was in the two front tires they just replaced and their service manager Doreen told us she did not know. I explained that if it was in the 2 new tires, they should take responsibility and repair it. She refused to check the two front tires and let us leave with a piece of paper stating "Customer declined Repair" I reported this to Toyota corporate and they opened a case for me. No one from Westbury Toyota responded. I called Toyota headquarters again and they gave me 2 contacts of customer service reps to speak with at Westbury. I called Westbury Toyota and asked for the two contacts and was advised 1 was no longer there and the other moved to accounting. Finally after about 6 phone calls found someone to assist (Dana) and Im bringing my vehicle there today to hopefully resolve the tire issue. In any event, my opinion is the serrvice dept has gone way downhill over the past year. You cant even find their General Manager Mark F. He does not answer e-mails and no one seems to know where he is. When I wait in the waiting room I always hear the service managers recommending many repairs that probably are unnecessary. Im lucky to have some knowledge of auto repairs otherwise Id be taken advantage of. Beware of things that break shortly afterwards when having your vehicle serviced at Westbury Toyota. I have lost my trust on their service dept. They need new management as the current service managers do not know how to deal with customer complaints.

This was, by far, the best car buying experience we have ever had . . . and we have had several cars over our years on this planet. We were met at the door by Oliver Gardiner, our sales person. We already knew we were interested in a Prius and especially interested in the new Model C. He spent time with us going over the car, letting us have a nice test drive and showing us the Model V as well. He was patient and not pushy (something rare to find in trying to buy a new car). When it came time to make the final decision, Rob Brower stepped in because the dealership did not have the particular color/model that we wanted in stock. Rob took the time to track down the car we wanted and said it would be there on Monday before 6 PM (we made our purchase on Friday late afternoon). The price they gave us was excellent. There was no bargaining back and forth. They were clear with us and didnt push anything on us. Over the weekend I thought that the car would not be there. That they were just telling us they could get the car but really could not. And then on Monday when we called they said the car was on its way (coming from Pennsylvania) and low and behold it was there, gas tank filled, before 6 PM. Anthony Antonetti helped us with the final paperwork and we were on our way. Believe it or not I wound up bringing them a large platter of Dunkin Munchkins to say thank you. First time I ever gave a car dealership anything. Now I want the Prius V and for sure I will make my purchase from Westbury Toyota. They are honest, truthful, patient, helpful and NOT OVERBEARING. When I tell people what a great experience I had buying a car they are incredulous. And so am I!!!! Its the only place to buy a car and Toyota is the only car to buy. Thank you Westbury Toyota!! From your loyal customers, The Polins

If I could rate how horrible the service here is on a scale of 1 (not too bad) to 10 (worst of the worst), I would rate the Westbury Toyota Service Center an 11 - it is THAT horrible. I dropped off my car at 7:30 AM on a weekday and was told that it would be ready between 5 and 6 PM that day. I hadnt heard back from my customer service representative by 2:30 PM, so I called him to see if my car would still be ready at the stated time. He said, "Sure, of course, you can come by anytime then." I had a coworker drive me over there at 5:30, and lo and behold, THEY HADNT EVEN STARTED WORK ON THE CAR YET. NOTHING. They offered me a rental car (a giant minivan, mind you, and I live in a neighborhood where parallel street parking is difficult to begin with), so I informed them that even though it was an extreme inconvenience, I would wait for my car instead. Nope, they said I couldnt wait for my car, it would be ready sometime the next day. Obviously seeing red, I told them to just patch up the leak on one of my tires, and that I would just drive it home, never to bring it back again. The best part is that the next day, the customer service representative called me to tell me that I hadnt paid my invoice. WHAT INVOICE?! You guys hadnt even done any work on the car!!! He offered me free service, which I said I would think over. I googled the "free service" that he offered me, and get this, turns out my car doesnt even need that service until it hits 100,000 miles (the car is now at 34,000). Then I look at the list of services that they had initially recommended on my visit - turns out that none of those services are required and should not even be recommended at 34,000. All I can say is NEVER AGAIN. Take your car elsewhere.

I recently bought a 2012 Prius Plug-In and was extremely pleased with the dealership. The new owners are very eager to provide a quality experience. Luis Lall ,one of the salesmen, is fantastic. He has a tremendous knowledge about the car and very patient when I give him my list of questions.(No I am not related to him!) Since the manual is 684 pages, it is much easier for me to ask Luis for the answers than to try to find them in the book. When my friends ask about the new car, I definitely recommend Westbury Toyota! Unfortunately, last fall the heater in my 2005 Prius was not functioning and I brought my car in for service. It was the first time I ever had any problem with the car. I always brought it in for oil changes and maintenence. It was a nightmare. I did not know when I brought the car in that there was going to be a change in ownership. The people who "helped" me never let me know when the car would be fixed. The manager I spoke to one day left for another job the next day. The service person I spoke to one day and promised to call the next day, went on vacation. It was chaotic. It took 16 days before I got the car back. I wanted to write something on this website about that horrible experience but I didnt because I knew that wouldnt be fair to the new owner.
