First off all the other reviews on here are from the owner/employees, or family members of the owners, ask anyone in the local businesses and they will tell you the same thing, stay far away from Road Ready auto repair, the owners John and Gus are liars and thieves they will try and sell you anything and everything even things your vehicle does not need, they dont care about anyone or anything except themselves and there pockets and they will con, lie, and do anything they can to make sure that there pockets are full and yours are empty, they order and use the cheapest parts while making at least 65% profit on every part they need to "fix" your car. Your best bet is to stay far far away from this place and save yourself the money and aggravation , there are plenty of other honest, loyal, and caring repair shops in the area!!! You can ignore this post and warning but if you do go anyways, when your kicking yourself in the ass for not listening dont say I didnt warn you, prior to your visit!!!!

I only have good things to say about Road Ready! My aunt and I have been bringing our cars here for years and John at the front desk and the rest of the Road Ready crew are always extremely welcoming and kind. They take any problem you present seriously and do everything in their power to find a solution - ranging from taking a ride with you in your car to identify a noise, to examining every part of the car to ensure there are no safety concerns. Everyone there is extremely thorough in explaining whats wrong with your car so you will never walk out feeling confused or overwhelmed. Not to mention, you will always be offered free water or coffee and a quiet place to sit while waiting for your car in the newly renovated station. I would recommend Road Ready to anyone and plan on reaching out to them for my car needs for as long as possible! The kind customer interaction never goes unnoticed. Thank you!

I just left Road Ready after having an oil change. As always, they were extremely polite, friendly and competent. They always look over your car and they found a few things that I needed to be aware of because my car is 8 years old. They did not try to push me into fixing these things and even told me I could wait a while but when you need brakes, you need brakes. The thing I love about them is they work with you and I feel they are honest, their prices are fair and they guarantee their work. I was lucky to find them after getting screwed over by the worst mechanic ever. I have never regretted my decision because they are a "first class" auto repair shop. I highly recommend them and my car has never run better. So, if you want the best check out Road Ready, you will never be sorry.

I have been a loyal customer of Road Ready for well over 15 years. I started going there when I lived only three blocks away. Now, I live 45 minutes away and I still only go to Road Ready to service my cars. The reason is simple; they are the best! They are expert mechanics who truly care about their customers and keep them coming back by doing excellent work at reasonable prices... many times, I have been surprised that the bill is so small! You can truly trust them without question. They treat their customers as their friends and although this may sound weird, I actually do not mind when my cars need work because I get to see Gus and John at Road Ready and it is always a very pleasant experience. Finally a Service Station with Managers and Technicians who treat you like family, not just another number. I have had the pleasure of finding this Jewel of Service Stations and I am Highly Impressed with their work on my car. When the dealers were saying I needed whatever, I drove over to Road Ready only to find out that I was being misled, and was told what the problem really was, and how it was going to cost and how long I would have to wait. The service from their Technicians is top notch and second to none. I am bringing all of my vehicles here in the future for all of the services that they need, whatever it may be. So, in the future, go to Road Ready for any servicing and it will be done right the first time.

After not having a day off for awhile and then getting one last minute I was in need of an oil change, without a steady mechanic I like I called over to Road Ready who helped out a friend from out of town last minute free of charge last week. Right from the start Joe was willing to take my car in, and upon doing a once over John found a few things that would help the car run better. With careful explaining and very friendly service I now will only use them for all my car needs and issues. It is nice to know there is still places on Long Island where you arent getting scammed or screwed over some way. Thanks guys and I will be seeing soon!

We have been going to Road Ready since we moved to the area 4 years ago. I always feel that the mechanics take an interest in our vehicles. They identified that a Lexus service area did not perform a service that was paid for. We werent sure if this was initially true, until a return trip to the dealership some freebies magically appeared when it was brought to this Lexus stations attention. I am also offered a fresh cup of coffee and a ride back home in the mornings when I drop my truck off for services. This is a nice perk, but I sincerely feel they are looking out for our best interests. I plan on coming back for a very long time.

Great auto repair place. They dont try to take advantage of you like other places do, or dealership where you bought your car from. Ask for John or Gus, they take care of your car, and are very friendly. If my car needs service, this is my go to place. They have early bird drop off service or a seating area to wait for service completion. I have been coming to Road Ready for years, and will continue for many more. Cant be beat, great customer care service team, they also have a road ready repair point program, they started where you get coupons in the mail, for every service you get on your car.
