I have bought, sold and serviced all of my familys cars, including Mercedes Benz W123, W124 and W210 cars as well as Alfa Romeo at Performance Imports for many years. Over the years I have had challenges ranging from difficult to diagnose and obscure problems to road side break downs and in every case Performance Imports has exceeded my expectations in dealing with these challenges. From my very first interaction with Performance Imports when I bought my 1978 240D they have treated my family as an extension of their family and always given us straight forward and honest advice and service for our cars at a very reasonable cost. On many occasions I have had small problems or questions about my cars and I have stopped in at Performance Imports without an appointment and they have always taken the time to answer my questions and very often fixed problems on the spot. I strongly feel that this type of family owned business with highly skilled mechanics who have decades of experience and a great network of parts suppliers and relationships with specialized service providers (body work, parts rebuilding) is a very rare find and a real treasure to have in the Western Connecticut area.

I highly recommend Performance Imports! I recently bought a cls63 amg from Diane at Performance imports and she was nothing short of amazing! I couldnt be more satisfied with the whole car buying experience with PI. From the minute I spoke to Diane on the phone, set up a test drive, and finalized the paperwork it was a seamless process without delay. The whole time i was treated as i was family. All of the vehicles at PI are extremely clean, and hand picked to offer the lowest costs, best quality and cleanest cars around. I couldnt be more satisfied with Diane, and PI as a company. Nice Family owned, and operated dealership with extremely nice vehicles. i have purchased a lot of cars in the past and this was by far one of the best, if not the best car buying experience to date. I previously published a review for PI and want to do so again. This is one of the best car dealers and mechanics for imports around. We drive an hour just to make sure they work on our cars. It is a family owned business and you will feel that right when you come in. They treat you like family - and your car is their car, so they will investigate and research until they have solved the problems. We have also purchased 4 or 5 cars from them over the years. They have high standards when it comes to the cars they allow on their lot. If i could give them 10 stars, I would! Please give them a try - it will be worth it!

I have been doing business at Performance Imports for over fifteen years and have purchased three used cars for them doing that time frame. If you pay 15K or 5K you can rest assured that the team at Performance Imports has done all they could to ensure your vehicle is both safe and reliable. Always professional and thorough but may not be as fast as you would like, similar to good food. Its may not be ready when you want it but the quality is worth the wait and price.

Performance has always been good to me. My last experience was a coolant leak in my wives Mini Cooper, they were thorough, honest about the job and its complexity, and successful with the repair. They are not a "fly by night" repair shop. I highly recommend them.
