I no longer hold any respect for this business. If I could rate it zero, I would. I took my car there to be fixed after an accident, not knowing that their shop was way beyond capacity at the time. They took a month and a half to fix my car! They were also very uncommunicative about the whole situation, which left me in the position of having to call their shop every few days to figure out what was going on and why my car wasnt ready yet. Not only that, but there were 3 whole days where they didnt even know where my car was! They thought it had been sent to an alignment shop, but it turns out it had been sitting in the back of Moss Body the whole time. And it gets worse. After getting my car back from Moss Body Shop, I took it in to a mechanic for a trip check, and was informed that my ball joint was bad. Moss Body Shop had entirely overlooked replacing my ball joint. It had inches of play in it - even though everything around it had been replaced. Thinking that was the last of it, I had my ball joint replaced and I took my car on a cross-country road trip, only to have my transmission start acting up. I took my car into another mechanic, who discovered my transmission had been cracked in half due to the impact from the initial accident. Moss Body Shop had completely missed another VERY important repair on my car! And I was now halfway across the country. My mechanic also showed me that Moss Body had not properly installed my deflector, they had merely clipped it on, AND had put the wrong fluid in my cooling system. When I contacted Ryan from Moss Body Shop (the only person from their shop who gave me the respect and treatment I deserved) and told him all of this, he informed me that no longer worked there because he was "not satisfied with the way Moss Body treats their customers". It suffices to say, that my car will never be going back to Moss Body Shop and I hope yours never will too.

My experience was bad from the start. The rental car that Moss arranged to pick me up never came. Apparently wasnt ever booked. When I picked my car up and inspected it I noticed a big gouge in the door trim of the door that was repaired and painted. The piece below the door stuck out way further than the other side, which was also repaired. It also had chucks in the clear coat that they had to buff out. It was like no one even inspected my car after the work, or if they did that poor quality repair was ok with them or they hoped I didnt notice. They promised to replace the door trim. After calling weeks later I got the run around. No one seemed to know what was going on. The office manager promised to call me back personally with an update. She never did. I was driving nearby one day and decided to pop in and see what the deal was with getting the issues resolved with my car. The office manager didnt even acknowledge me or the situation and again no one seemed to know what was going on. Finally a man from the back came out with my part in hand. I the. Went outside to show him all of the areas needing addressed and showed him how I was having a hard time opening my gas tank since they put a new seal on it and wanted a factory one. He then preceded to rip the white seal off and said, " thats not even supposed to be there. We use that when we are painting it." And ripped it off in front of me. That sent me over the edge. Ive been opening my gas door with my fingernails for weeks. Again, who inspected my car after repairs. Ill tell you. No one. They gave me a $15 gift card for my trouble of having to return. If you like your car, DO NOT GO HERE. The office girls that work here seem miserable and are NO HELP. The quality is poor. As poor as it gets.

Last month I accidently backed into a large metal truck part in a friends driveway that was just high enough to tear loose parts of the side of my car and the bumper on the drivers side. I had a pressing appointment in Charlotte so the service crew did a temporary fix that would keep everything from falling off. I took it in two days ago for the permanent repairs and one of the employees brought me home. They kept the car for two days for repairs and then sent it to the paint shop. They delivered the car back to me this evening after closing time. The charge was reasonable for the repairs and they were done properly and in a timely manner. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend them for anyones needs for auto body work.

These guys suck. Someone had hit my car while parked at the mall. I put in a claim to fix the bumper and had my estimate. 2 days later my radiator blew and I knew it had to do with the hit. I had already scheduled to take it to Moss and was having the adjuster meet there, Steve was no help and even told the adjuster that my car was old (its a nice 97 Miata)and was probably ready to go. Please, the radiator was fine. My claim for repair was denied because of this bozo and I was already stuck with them doing the paint and body. (ins was paying for the bumper paint) it has been 6 months and it is already starting to bubble and crack soon. They did a poor paint job and caused me money to boot. DO NOT GO HERE!

Please do not use this business. My car was hit in the rear by a State Farm policy holder. They work with State Farm and were not eager to help me. Ive had to take 6 trips down there to get it resolved. They were unable to diagnose the issue and tried to blame it on me. I know very little about auto mechanics or body work. I was the one to finally diagnose the problem and showed it to them, in hopes of getting it fixed. Now 6 months later and 6 trips to their body shop, Im still having problems with my vehicle. There is no way I will ever use them again nor would I do business with Sate Farm.

This is no longer the "Moss Body Shop" of ago. The original owner sold and it is now owned by "Stallings Collision Centers". I have dealt with Moss for years, excellent service, excellent work, professionalism. This outfit is none of above. Has taken me two (2) weeks to get a small part repaired. They have never called me, I call them, to check on repair, have caught them in several lies. The office staff is ho hum about their job and they no longer take personal checks--ridiculous. I see why they kept the name Moss, if I had been previous owner, would have made them change it.

I was so pleased with the repair to my car. The staff was very friendly and polite and my car looked amazing!! When the repairs were completed my car was spotless inside and outside. When I picked the car up I asked if they could remove a sticker from a car dealership - as usual I forgot to mention it when they were looking over the car. They gladly did it for me. They even took it to the Honda Service Center on Patton Avenue because a sensor light came on when I went to drive away. I will definitely refer anyone to them.
