I can now say I am no longer a loyal customer to TLC. This is the third year in a row my husband and I have brought our cars here for a state inspection. We usually have no problems. Make an appointment and wait about a half hour and were all set. This year, they failed my husbands car for tint. Mind you, its been the same tint all three years. They admitted first thing that it may be their machine. It was suggested to take our car to the DMV and have them check it. Rather than wait until Monday, we went to two different places to have the tint checked (one was a company that strictly installs tint and the other was another state inspection station), both passed the car. When we called back to TLC, there was no apology, no offer of a refund, no offer to have their machine recalibrated and reinspect. We had to pay another state inspection station for an entire second inspection when TLC could have easily fixed the issue for us. Not only did TLC just lose our business, but everyone that weve recommended them to in the past weve let know not to waste their time.

The man at the front desk pulled up a review I wrote and high lighted it And told me to take it down Because i lied on them..No i didnt they do SWINDLE CUSTOMERS OUT OF MONEY,THE MECHANICS ARE JACK LEGGED, AND HE IS JUST PLAIN OUT RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL...When I was basically forced to go back there to get a reinspect. We had a few words about it.He then told me that I owed 85CENTS I handed him my debit card and he Threw my card at me and said he wasnt going to use it for 85CENTS.I told him not to be throwing things at me it got into a heated argument. HE also was doing this in front of customers. ..Yes I know he is going to read this I donot give a flying f&*% Because people really need to know about this man and this place..IF ANYONE NEEDS ANYONE DETAILS CONTACT ME..AND MR....GUESS WHAT I WILL BE CALLING CORPORATE ABOUT YOU THROW ING THINGS AT ME AND YOU CO FRONT ING ME ABOUT A REVIEW.because i am entitled to my opinion and warning people about crooked places like this!!!!

What a great auto shop. I have come to them multiple times with car troubles I couldnt quite figure out myself. Within an hour or two the problem was correctly diagnosed, and vehicle ready for pickup when they said it would be. I would particularly like to mention the honest mechanics that work here. I requested a 4 wheel alignment in advance of a cross country drive I would be making, and they checked alignment for free, ultimately deciding it was within specifications. Thanks for saving me the $$, and retaining business in doing so. I hypothesized some driveline components may need replacing so requested u-joint replacement, they determined the current u-joints were fine and found the problem elsewhere. Again, saving me the $$ they could have easily billed me for anyway. If you are looking for an efficient auto mechanic with integrity, visit Tire, Lube and Car Care. I went there today for an inspection after I stopped by the Halvoline Xpress Lube first. The owner at Halvoline once again made me feel as though I was a burden just pulling on the property. I had visited Tire, Lube, and Car Care once before and was saitisfied so today I figured what the heck Ill see if they can give me an inspection. This place will now be my "go to" for vehicle service in EC and I suggest it be yours. After being spoken to so poorly at one establishment and visiting another like this one it really makes you appreciate fast and friendly customer service. The people who work there are just genuinely friendly and honest and that is what us locals should expect out of our small hometown businesses. Thanks Tire, Lube, and Car Care. It is very well appreciated.

Do not take your car for "service" to these rip off hacks. They will tell you something bigger is going on to charge you more. I had a simple task of needing a tire sensor programmed. Told the desk clerk I needed a tire pressure sensor programmed, which I just bought the day before from AutoZone, and had a new rim, tire and sensor installed by a local tire guy who did not have the programming tool. Took it to these Yahoos couple days later and while waiting for service, got a call an hour later from the desk clerk stating the tire pressure system needed to be totally reset. When I got my bill it stated they charged me for another sensor, installation and the system reset. Lost business

Awful, took my car to this repair shop to have a nail removed from my tire. After leaving my car there a full day, returned with what they said was "good news, no nail was found in your tire!" - My jaw dropped to the floor,; ME: "are you blind! I saw it with my own two eyes" , THe man at the counter double checked with the repairmen, "Yup no nail", so I asked the man to walk out with me and look. Clear as day! had a nail in my tire. And i hated that I had them "flush" my coolant, if they cant see a nail in a tire how can they properly flush coolant out of my car, oh they cant because 2 days later we found it was dirty and filled above that line that says "do not fill above this line"

Nice folks, until you call them out on their work! They are a sorry excuse for a repair shop, the only thing they can do is replace part after part after part, they cannot diagnosis a problem, unless the computer tells them. The mechanics should be in high school or at least a trade school to learn to be mechanics! After 4 trips to get repairs, they say " we hate those systems, they were no good from the start", take it to the dealer! Well, thats what I recommend, save yourself some time and money and go to the dealer the first time, at least if they dont fix the problem right, it doesnt cost you more when you take it back for the same issue!

Tire, Lube, and Car Care is an excellent business with fast service and very knowledgeable technicians. Their prices are always great and theyre always ready to help! I have been using their service for many years and they always are looking out for me and providing me with the knowledge and awareness I need to care for my vehicle properly. I wouldnt go anywhere else and I recommend them to anyone who drives and owns their own vehicle!

TLC gave me a super deal on the Michelin LTX tires for my Dodge Ram pickup and aligned my truck in about an hour. They know how to treat people and how to explain to me what they are doing to my truck. I feel that they are really serious about doing good work at a fair price. I will be back for my free tire rotations every 5k and they give discounts to military on repairs. Check them out you wont be sorry!
