Nissans are good cars but AVOID THIS PARTICULAR DEALERSHIP! My wife had purchased a Nissan Ultima from a used car dealership where we live. When she received a service recall, we had to take the car to this dealership. While there, we decided we would look into upgrading her vehicle, so talked to a sales rep on different pricing. Of course, they went through the usual nonsense that dealers go through trying to up-sell the entire time. My wife wanted to have a few more upgrades in the vehicle, but keep her loan amount the same, where we would pay a cash different for the various extras. After five hours of going through this dealerships nonsense, they finally gave us an offer for a used vehicle which had a number of nice extras to the car. The monthly payment would be $5 more and we had to put $3,000 down. We then had to wait another hour while their loan officer got the paperwork ready. When we sat down with the loan officer, he handed us paper after paper to sign, where AGAIN, I reiterated that I just want to make sure the loan is the same, and I was assured it was. So now a month has gone by and I received my first car payment and see that the balance due is almost 18k as opposed to the 13k that my wifes original balance was. I THEN LOOKED INTO THE PAPERWORK TO SEE THAT THE DEALERSHIP CHANGED MY LOAN FROM A 60 MONTH TO A 75 MONTH TERM LOAN WITHOUT TELLING ME THIS! There were a number of other minor issues we encountered with the customer service, but this is, by far, my biggest issue. Nissan has some nice cars, but this dealership is VERY deceptive so I would advise all to avoid this dealership and find one of the many other Nissan dealers in the area.

DECEITFUL TACTICS TO BRING YOU IN So I drove from Chesapeake Virginia down to E-City because they had a Platinum Reserve that I was interested in. They had labelled it as an SL and had priced it at roughly 44,000 down from 64,000. I took the drive down because this was a deal that I couldnt pass up and come to find out that this "deal" was only for people who had purchased from E-City Nissan, had a random letter from Nissan stating that they were in important, etc, etc etc. What they do is price aggressively online to get you in. Then they think of reasons as to why you dont qualify for their online prices.Their "promise price" should be called a broken promise price. Overall, youre better off going to where there are more Nissan Dealers that can compete for your business and those who dont use unethical practices to get you in the door. On the back half of this, if you do have the mythical unicorn blood which qualifies you to be worthy of their promise price (which must be forged in the depths of Mordor) you need to see Joe. He was super friendly, honest and upfront. Overall he made the experience enjoyable, even though I was tricked. I wish him nothing but the best. EDIT Its amazing how many fake reviews are on here. It seems like the people who really have issues with the dealership state the same things. There must be a reason this dealership recently changed hands. HEY OWNER, WHY NOT RESPOND TO ANY OF THE REAL REVIEWS? YOU KNOW, THE ONES THAT ARE STATING THE SAME THINGS OVER AND OVER?

Please be careful with this company they are very crooked, and underhanded. My Fiance, and I went into the dealership, and spoke to Greg Busset. He ran the credit, and went to the finance desk. Jermaine the finance manager came over to us, and asked did we believe in God, and then asked did we have a co signer, I got on the phone, and called my dad, and he agreed to co sign, well what we didnt know was that they had ripped up our application, and put my dad down as the sole purchaser of the car, and never disclosed that to any of us. Greg Busset told us that we were approved for a 2017 Nissan Altima, and told us congratulations. He gave us the keys, and as we were getting ready to drive off Greg Busset stated that he would be following us so that my dad could sign the papers as the co signer, but in reality he was signing the purchase papers, and had no knowledge of it. In my opinion this dealership knowingly took advantage of a 70 year old man, and we are going to seek legal counsel on this matter if its not resolved. Again please be careful with this dealership. They will definitely take advantage of the elderly, and unsuspecting people. It is truly a shame how conniving these people are, and they definitely work, and lie together. Definitely do not trust this company. I am so mad at myself for not going to another dealership. They are total crooks. They will do anything for a sale even if it means swindling the elderly. Be careful.

Do yourself a favor, ignore the "promise price." Its a mirage. I inquired about a 2017 Maxima that had an eye-popping low price. Asked for "out the door price" with fees, etc. $4 thousand above the price the website showed, before taxes. So when I asked why, I was told the "promise price" was based on getting this laundry list of discounts. 1. $3500 NISSAN MOTOR ACCEPTANCE REBATE 2. $750 MILITARY REBATE ( ACTIVE OR RETIRED, VET WITHIN 6 MONTHS SEPERATION) 3. $500 NNA LOYALTY PRIVATE OFFER--- THIS WOULD HAVE CAME TO YOU IN THE MAIL, ADDITIONAL DISCOUNT VOUCHER. 4. $750.00 COLLEGE GRAD. REBATE--- GOOD FOR 6 MONTHS BEFORE YOU GRADUATE AND 2YRS AFTER 5.$ 500 FACEBOOK COUPON- HAS TO PRINTED OUT FROM OUR FACEBOOK PAGE 6. $2500 NISSAN OF ELIZABETH CITY TRADE LOYALTY BONUS---MEANING IF YOU PURCHASED FROM HERE BEFORE AND COME BACK IN TO TRADE HERE. 7. $1000 LOCAL ROTARY CLUB DISCOUNT The person who could get this entire list doesnt exist. Going back through their website, I could only find two of those listed anywhere, the money back from Nissan and the college grad. Gave them two rather than one star, because it seemed theyd negotiate to a halfway decent price. But they wont get my business, because I dont like playing games with folks who wont be honest up front.

As a woman looking to purchase a used vehicle, I was very concerned about working with a dealership. Hal Chappell was the sales associate that helped me. He really listened to what I wanted, (which was not originally a Nissan), worked on what I could do with my budget, and there was absolutely no pressure to make a decision until I was ready. I actually needed to rent a car in the meantime, and the young lady on the phone was friendly and nice, and the process of renting the car was a breeze. During this time a Nissan Rogue came in with my budget and mileage specifications in IMMACULATE condition. Still, no pressure. The finance department made the application process simple and fast, Mr. Chappell was so helpful in many ways and did i say NO PRESSURE? Courtesy, consideration and friendly faces seem to be staff requirements as I worked with several staff members in finance, test drives with other sales associates, the rental department and the staff in service. I have been employed for many years in hospitality and customer service industries, and the management and staff at Alliance could write a book on providing excellence and consistency in every area of their business. Two thumbs up!
