Are you looking for an honest and fair auto repair service? You found it! I cannot say enough good things about this business. I was told by a local dealership that my car needed a whole new engine estimated at over 9000 dollars. It did not seem right so I went to North End for a second opinion on the recommendation of a co-worker. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it for a fraction of the cost and guess what? It did not need a new engine. They will be getting all our auto repair business from now on. They are friendly, professional, and most of all honest and trustworthy.

Excellent service at a fair price is the reason I keep taking my cars to NEIS. Zeb and Doug (owners) have been taking care of my Hondas, Nissan, Toyota, and even my Ford since day one. I have watched them work and they take a meticulous factory trained approach when it comes to torque specs, original factory fluids and parts. Its nice to know that if a tune-up calls for anti-seize, they are not going to take a lazy shortcut. If youre tired of slick service writers at the dealer or shade tree mechanics at the local franchise, this is where to take your car for service.

I received two recommendations to North End and when my sons 2004 VW Jetta disintegrated a timing belt, these guys gave me a great estimate. They also discovered a busted water pump and included that repair in the estimate. I will tell you that fixing both issues actually saved me money compared to another estimate I had received just for the timing belt. I highly recommend these guys. They are professional and friendly and if we have any future issues with our VW, I will go straight to them.

Absolutely phenomenal with subarus. They check your car out FOR FREE before doing any work and are very honest with you when it comes things that NEED to be done and things that can wait. I have never once had a complaint and I trust them WAY more than any of the dealers. If you want to be blindfolded, beat up, and then robbed, go to the dealers. If you want your subaru worked on by knowledgeable mechanics you take it here.

I brought in my daughters very high mileage Impreza with some serious chronic problems. They were very knowledgeable of these cars and their common problems. Extensive work was done at a reasonable cost and it was all done perfectly the first time. If you want honest and knowledgeable repairs and a fair cost I would recommend North End.

My car is always fixed so quickly with these guys! Their prices are really fair. Ive even been able to bring my car in to be looked at for free, and they have done simple repairs on my car FOR FREE. (Maybe simple for them, but not for me.) I try getting all my friends to use this shop.

This is honestly the only mechanic I will bring my car to from now on. Have had two older Honda civics with varying work done by this shop. They are incredibly honest and have very fair prices. Also very knowledgable and willing to go the extra mile when they see other minor issues.

Went here based on two recommendations. Despite "specializing in VW" they turned away my late 80s VW. First reason I got was they "dont do air-cooled." After I explained that this model is water-cooled (1987), other reasons followed on why they are not willing to work on this import.
