Ive been a huge fan of Hollands Auto Care since about 2005. I was working for a local towing company and was tasked with dropping off a car at Hollands. Thats the day I met the great Mr Charles Holland and I was sold man. Im from the country so finding a shop with such a small town feel in the city was hard to come by. Towing cars over the years Ive watched Scott Grow into his fathers role and trust and believe folks it was a bumpy ole dirt road to say the least. Watching Scott allow customers to "pay me what you can and get me the rest later" or calling me because one of his customers had broken down and asking me to try and hurry its hot out or maybe the customer wasnt in the best of area and him asking me to try and be quick to pick them up from the side of the road. Folks these phone calls from him came 24 hours Every Single day. Ive towed for every shop in town folks and your not gonna find a more genuinely good guy to deal with. Never known either Mr Hollands to not make something right when needed. I see some bad reviews on here from well mostly younger folks and thats sad. Sad that the younger generations dont know how to resolve such simple issues without such negativity. Someone said they had to wait over 15 minutes. Guess they didnt see scott answering that phone actually multiple phones that never stop ringing. Remember if you have to wait that he is always helping someone else that needed him too. People love to monday morning quarterback as they say. Now screw those 2 line reviews you folks might see took me a few minutes to type this up but sometimes you just gotta step up and disagree with a few folks on their reviews. Totally inaccurate. If your looking for a good honest shop, folks you found one in the Hollands. 10+

I am a college student living in Greensboro. I have an old truck that Ive nearly completely restored myself. Ive done basically all the engine work myself, and know my way around tools, and especially my own vehicle. I was having some problems with it and didnt have the time to do the repairs for myself so I brought the truck to them. Before doing so I ran the codes letting me know what was wrong according to the computer. I called about 20 minutes before I arrived. Once I got there I stood for 4 or 5 minutes in the shop before anyone acknowledged my presence. Eventually I was approached and I explained the problem and told him it was on an old truck. He immediately assumes its something simple, and goes out in the shop telling everyone "well it just needs a tune up". He said this multiple times while I was trying to explain the symptoms. I know that it wasnt in need of a tune-up because I had just done one myself a few weeks beforehand. Without asking to see the truck himself or saying he would get to it he just walks off. I was in a hurry because I had to be at work but after 15 minutes of standing there waiting for a "well take a look at it" or "well be with you in just a minute" I approach him again and hes still convinced theres no problem with the truck (he STILL hasnt even seen it yet). It was 30 minutes before I left without having anything fixed.

This was, by far, the worst experience Ive ever had with an auto shop. The repair took almost 9 weeks, some of the staff was rude and unprofessional, they charged more than they quoted. After finally getting my car back it is now leaking oil from 2 places where it wasnt when I dropped it off. After a problem with the bill I was verbally assaulted by one of their employees. I will say that the owner agreed to the amount that he originally quoted me after some arguing and that the lead mechanic was easy to deal with. I was also given a loaner car. I now feel uncomfortable ever visiting this shop again so Im apparently out of luck with the leaks. And as of this writing, I have found more leaks and the check engine light is now on.

I was having car problems for well over two weeks and had spent 700 dollars at another mechanic before I finally decided to give Holland Auto a chance. It turned out that I needed a new engine. Holland Auto found an engine online, ordered it, and installed it with SUPERIOR customer service, always keeping me updated, working me in an already busy work schedule so that I would not be stranded (my car is the only means of transportation I had). I cant say enough good things. HIGHLY recommend!

Fantastic team. I had a flat tire and two frozen lug nuts. These guys not only came out and changed the tire, but cut me a fantastic deal on new tires that I had been putting off for too long. They took my car to their shop, replaced the tires and saved me money in the process. The personal care and friendly attitude were greatly appreciated when i was already frustrated with my flat tire. Great job guys, Ill be back for sure.

Most trustworthy mechanics Ive ever used. I recommend them whenever possible. They will not take advantage of anyone-- man,woman, or teen. Quality work done and they go above and beyond if necessary.... I know!! They do seem constantly busy and their lot is on the small side so I recommend parking next door at the Hess station, they dont mind going over to get it when they are ready to do the job.

They were just supposed to replace my axel for about $200 but decided they wanted to replace both of my control arms also for $800 without asking me first. And they dented the hood of my car and left the nut off of my tire and didnt screw in 3 bolts all the way and they didnt align my tires after fixing them even though I was charged for it. And they left all their crap in my car.

I am a college student and started to have problems with my car. My car was stuck at my house for about a week. I recieved Mr. Hollands number and within a day he came to my house and helped fix my car. Great customer service, and excellent work. I would recommend anyone with any type of car troubles to go see Mr. Holland. Very great guy!

I had a damping door actuator go bad on F150..... Call the Ford dealer and they had labor at a full day to replace the part (insert BIG $$$). These guys and gal found an alternative method to replace it and really helped lower the cost. They won me as a customer! Thanks so much for sticking with me and my truck!
