Received a marketing postcard in early May from Public Relations manager Jason Nicholas stating: "Please call at your earliest convenience concerning your vehicle and reference code E17." Called in and spoke with a phone rep named Jamie. She indicated the dealership had a "strong need" for vehicles like mine. I said great and set an appointment to have my cars trade-in value appraised, and also test drive a Chrysler Town and Country within the model years approximately 2005 - 2007. Jamie told me that there were plenty of those Chryslers in that date range currently in their inventory, and that they would set everything up. She also called me the day before the appointment and we re-confirmed what I wanted to do on the phone. On the day of the appointment I met with Jason Nicholas, who appeared to know nothing about my interest in finding out the trade-in value of my car, or the specific vehicle I wanted to test drive. He proceeded to show me a number of much newer vehicles with a higher price tag. When I told him that wasnt what I wanted, I wanted to pay cash and avoid a car payment, he appeared to get upset and continued to pressure me about how much would I be willing to pay each month? etc. etc. When I refused to agree to test drive the newer vehicle he told me he would have to search their inventory for what I was looking for. So we walked into the showroom with him all upset. He asked me to sit down and wait at one of the tables while he spoke with his manager about finding the vehicle I was looking for. Eventually he came back and said that they didnt have anything on the lot, but that they work with dealerships from all over the SE, and would I like to search their online inventory with him right there in the dealership? This was frustrating to say the least. I was obviously blatantly lied to on the phone and given the run-around in person. They wasted a lot of my time which is very valuable these days and I have to say that my belief is that this is a routine practice at their dealership. -but wait theres more- Still wanting to get rid of my vehicle, I placed an ad on Craigslist advertising it for sale about a month later, with an indication that I didnt want to be contacted from anyone who wished to sell it for me or talk to me about a trade in. I was contacted by a rep from Jeff Gordon, first through a text message, indicating they were interested in my vehicle and would it be OK to call? I said yes, answered the phone and listened to the same spiel about how the dealership had a strong need for vehicles like mine and would I like to come in to schedule an appraisal? Very unscrupulous to say the least.

NEVER going back! My husband and I were looking to get him a new truck and when we called they told us if they didnt have the exact truck we wanted they would find it. We went down on a Saturday and started looking at the many trucks they had, unfortunately they didnt have exactly what we wanted on the lot so they said they would find it. They found the EXACT truck at a chevy dealership in Virginia and said that we had one chance to get the truck so if we wanted it we had to jump on it right then! My husband and I wanted the truck and seeing how we had already been there a few hours and I was pregnant and starving we stepped next door for a quick lunch then came back (Auto loan approved) and started all the paperwork! They told us that Monday they would send someone up to get the truck, get it down to Wilmington, inspect it, send it to get the bed liner we requested and we should be able to pick it up by Thursday. We did 90% of the paperwork (obviously not all since the truck wasnt presently on the lot) and we left knowing we would soon have our dream truck! Next thing we know we get a call stating the dealership in VA wont release the truck until they have decided what vehicle from Wilmington they are trading the truck for. Then we were told the truck was actually not being released because someone else was interested in it! Then we were told the truck was sold to someone else! Not only did we spend an entire day at this dealership, sign paperwork taking our current truck out of our name, having our credit ran by the dealership and the banks to get the loan approved we were told we had one chance to get the truck and we took it! Next thing we know we arent getting our truck. Later when we spoke to the dealership we were told, "yeah we had one chance and we didnt get it". They then tried making it sound like we never had a chance at getting the truck which is not at all what they made us believe when we were actually doing paperwork! I guess we will never really know what the real story is behind why the truck wasnt released but bottom line is its now sold, and it wasnt to us! We are honest people and when we spend our whole day with you and sign paperwork saying we are going to buy a vehicle we are serious! Also when we are given someones word we trust it, but apparently you cant trust Jeff Gordon Chevrolet! Obviously we will never be going back to this place and wont recommend it to anyone. I read some other reviews on the internet and it looks like this has happened to other people as well. Very disappointing....not sure how they are in business when they treat people like this!

AVOID these guys at all cost. I have had nothing but problems dealing with Jeff Gordon Collision Center (and the dealership as well). I will try and explain my reasoning behind my pure dissatisfaction when dealing with Jeff Gordon. I brought a 2011 Jeep JK in for tail light issues and to address my ABS light coming on. I assumed this would be straight forward and I would have everything accomplished in one day. I was told I needed to rear "jumper harnesses" for my Jeep to fix the tail lights. I was quoted $411 for this repair. I took it somewhere else at it was 2 mini fuses to fix my lights. Total cost was about $2. It took less than two minutes to fix. I paid over $330 for my first visit, but I was worried about my ABS light coming on. I was told it was a rear speed sensor in the wheel. I told them to go ahead and fix it (despite the part being $18 online and it was about 30 minutes of labor). Within five minutes of pulling out of JG the light came back on. JG tried to charge me $200+ to fix two lugs that were messed up. The last time my wheels came off was when I bought four new tires from JG. No one had touched the wheels/tires since then. Upon further investigation I was told that would be covered by JG bc they screwed up originally. I literally got a phone call telling me lug nuts were falling off my vehicle that had been installed by JG. This was extremely alarming. I brought the Jeep back (I love forty mins away so this isnt convenient) and I was told it was another speed sensor! The likely hood of the other speed sensor failing was extremely unlikely. I believe the mechanic misdiagnosed the issue and repaired an issue that did not need any repairs. I spoke to Tripp and he could not give me a good reason why the mechanic thought the problem with the lights was due to a "jumper harness" instead of relating problem to bad fuses. He also could not provide any information on why front right sensor was not noticed when originally inspecting vehicle. Apparently it really did fail within 5 minutes of pulling out of JG, which is hard to believe. Overall Tripp is really good, despite the fact he is with JG. He appears to truly care and has strong customer service skills. Keep in mind I bought the Jeep from these guys as well. I was told they changed the spark plugs and wires when the brought it in. Turned out this was a lie. I will not be going back, for future vehicle purchases or for service work.
