I have used yaupon for many many repairs and every single time they have neglected to do things any normal auto shop would do or my car has come back in worse shape than it left in. When my starter went out they replaced it and I went to pick it up and they didnt mention the alternator was bad and they let the battery die. When my radiator needed to be replaced they failed to replace the thermometer and the radiator cap. A total of sixteen dollars in parts that kept me from being able to drive as I tried to figure out what was wrong with my car for two months. They failed to burp the air from my diesel car and I have been slowly bleeding the bubble out now for weeks. I went to speak with one of the mechanics and he laughed (after having done extensive work on it) and said he had no idea how to work on diesels. The radiator incident cost me 900 dollars due to the damage it caused to my car. Every time I have ever mentioned yaupon people have come out with horror stories about them. An AAA driver who jumped me during the alternator incident said he wouldnt do business with them ever. An autozone employee told me that they once tried to return a more expensive part a customer had brought in and replace it with a cheaper one without telling the customer. My neighbor a local yokel moron who like many people in the area wont say a bad word about someone even when they should to save others the trouble said to avoid them period. These people are morons. Do not even consider doing business with them if you dont want to end up doing so for months due to the stupid things they will do to your car and have you shelling out thousands.

My family drove our minivan with 275,xxx miles from raleigh to OKI for the weekend. Saturday morning we are on our way to the beach, check engine light comes on. Take it to autozone, they read cylinder 5 misfire which is what we had though. The van will start to misfire about this time every year, always a fouled plug gunked up with oil. Bought a plug from autozone, asked to borrow some of their tools to change it, but ultimately couldnt get the old plug out. Autozone tells us to come here. We pull in, tell the guy (Mark i think?) whats going on, he tells us to pull it in the shop (even though the parking lot is filled with plenty of other vehicles needing repair), pop the hood to let it cool off some. 5 minutes later we left with a new plug installed and he didnt charge us anything. Very friendly the whole time talking to us. If you know whats wrong and need an emergency repair, this is the place. Theyll get you up and running again in no time.

Will never go back again. Was visiting from out of town and needed a fuel hose replaced. I left worse off than I was when I came there. Replaced the hose but clamped it to tight. Still leaked and caused even more damage to my car. When I went back after it was leaking (3 times), they acted as if it was a hassle and were annoyed. Even though I paid them for a service they did not follow through with. They are a scam! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

We were on vacation in oak island when we got in an accident on our last day there, which happened to be Friday. They went out of their way to help fix our car so that we could get back to ohio the next day. Very friendly staff. Our car made it back to ohio fine and we are finishing repairs here. Very happy with our experience with this shop. Would recommend to others.

Late Night

Probably the most courteous service center Ive ever been to. Wrecked our car on vacationthe evening before heading back to Ohio. The mechanics stayed late Friday and Saturday to get us on the road. The compassion and understanding that was displayed is beyond simple customer service. Thanks again!
