I never felt that I could trust an auto repair shop until I moved to Southport 10 years ago and discovered Royal Coach. Ive always kept up the routine maintenance and repair work through a dealer. But when I got to Southport there was simply no dealer around and so I took a chance with Jay and his crew. What a blessing these guys are! For the first time in my life I trust a repair shop 100%. Theyve been maintaining my two Honda vans for years and, when my daughter moved here a couple of months ago and needed some work on her car, I immediately brought the car to Royal Coach. They are everything we want in a repair shop - friendly, honest, fairly priced, quality work with quick turnaround and they stand behind their work. I cant recommend them highly enough.

I have an 05 Cadillac STS that had a clunking noise in rear end. I decided to take it to Royal Coach before taking it to a Cadillac dealer. the problem was found in a short time along with other items that need attention and service was scheduled as soon as part came in. They also quoted me on a new set of tires to be put on at same time. I found this service center to be very reasonable on their prices, parts and labor. They are friendly, courteous and will explain everything in detail.They were also good at communicating while vehicle was being worked on. I would recommend this service center to anyone in need of a good and honest place for all types of service.

Little did I know how lucky I was that my 2011 BMW broke down just 2 blocks from Royal Coach & Motor Works in Southport. From the moment I walked in I was treated like a regular customer getting personal concern from Kelly & Justeen as well as the professionally trained technicians. The repair was extensive requiring ordering parts from BMW and having them expedited to lessen the time needed to repair. Throughout I was kept updated on the progress minimizing any concerns and inconvenience. Until this, my car had only been serviced at a Dealership, but from now on I would choose Royal Coach to do all my maintenance and future repair needs. Thank you so much!!!

I brought my Mini Cooper to Royal Coach for a second opinion. The mechanics checked my car thoroughly and brought me to the lift to explain each aspect of the repairs to me. I had some gaskets leaking oil and instead of replacing the top and bottom, they took the time to replace the top gaskets and degrease the engine so they could really see if the bottom parts needed to be replaced. This process saved me about $700. They earned my trust completely and I will definitely be returning to them for all my car care needs.

I live in central VA and was trying to buy a Chevelle located in Southport. I contacted Royal Coach about taking a look at the car to help me make a decision on if I should make the trip to purchase. Kelly and Jay were very helpful and arranged for the car to towed to the shop where Jay and his team thoroughly looked it over and went above and beyond what I asked. Not only am I happy with the service but the prices for the service were very reasonable.

I love this place, trust them completely. They have worked on my 2002 Buick many times. I have found them to be fair in their pricing and they are very service oriented and do not hesitate if you need to bring your car back to re-check something, they are very willing to do whatever it takes and I dont worry I am being cheated. I highly recommend them. I am an older widow, they are always very kind and understanding.

Ive never seen a place try to add on extra work so much. Every two sentences it would revert back to doing something else when I Simply wanted to just have a water pump installed. Being a certified mechanic does not mean I have my own time to work on my vehicles and when they said 850.00 to put in a water pump I about died from shock at how bad they are ripping people off.

Jay and the gang are the best. When I moved to Southport and asked friends where to take my 1965 Olds 442 for service they all said the same thing, Royal Coach. They treat my vehicles as they would their own. No hassle, good value service. It doesnt matter if its an oil change or restoring a classic Corvette, these are the guys you want handling your car.
