It was extremely annoying how many things they tried to sell me when I just needed an oil change and tire rotation. This is clearly the company in town that will try and take advantage of anyone with little to no car knowledge. Not to mention an oil change and tire rotation took an hour and a half!! There are quicker, more reliable, and cheaper places to go in town!!!! The cabin filter needed changing but I knew that buying one on your own was much more inexpensive so I opted to do it myself. The guy told me that it was extremely hard to get to which was a lie. One simple youtube video showed how easily accessible it was behind the glove compartment. The filter that they said they got out of my car was pretty bad; you could see leaves on it. Well instead of just tapping out those leaves they just shoved it back in the way it came out (poor customer service). However they put it in UPSIDE DOWN!! So now all that debris went into my ventilation unit causing it to make a sound when the air was set on high. I had to take apart the ventilation unit behind the glove box just to clean out the debris that went in there due to the dirty filter being installed upside down.

I was on vacation on the beach with my daughter when I cracked the oil pan of my VW Passat. As I shopped around on a Monday morning of Labor Day, most shops were closed or did not work on imported vehicles. It was around 7am in the morning when I reached out to Midas as a referral from my AAA. My car was not in drivable condition and Cameron answered the phone and seemed very professional. He was open on Labor Day and ready to spend as much time with me to diagnose the problem and the process of towing the car, ordering the parts and communicating with me. He checked on the parts and gave me a quote that was very reasonable even before he saw the car. I was hesitant to send my car to Midas because I had read all the reviews about Midas, but Cameron on Oleander Drive reassured me that he would take care of the car and that his technician was well-equipped to do the job. He called me when he received the car from the towing company, sent me pictures of the cracks and stayed on top of his employees to expedite the delivery of the parts. One day later, my car was ready to go and I drove back safely. I highly recommend Cameron and his team.

I personally trust this Midas store with all my vehicles, I have been going there for years & would never go anywhere else! the staff is very personable & actually care about the customers safety rather than taking there money. This is however a very busy shop but there are appointments available & the staff up front will surely make sure you get back in a timely manner. I look at some of these other comments & laugh because people think that the world revolves around them! Like the girl with the fuse problem...Midas has the most high tech equipment in town & I guarantee you if they told you it was electrical then in deed its electrical! maybe you should understand how the world works & realize you are just like any other person & not put yourself on a pedestal. I will continue going to Dave at Midas because he is one of the most honest business owners in this town! When having your car worked on you have to trust the mechanic & this Midas is truly someone you can trust!

Me and my friend went there to do alignment. After there magic (that probably how they do alignment there, cuz I never saw the guy under my car, just walking around it and walking around it doing his magic) my car was keep pulling to the right my friend car got even worst then it was!!! Both of us went to another shop were they did free alignment check for us. And of course both our cars was off alignment. We had to go back for re alignment and wait for another hour. And im not even talking about 2hours that we had to wait first time when they told us it will take an hour to do. They alignment station are not calibrated right. Alignment can be done by magic and walking around car 100 times. Will never go back there again for magic service .And that front desk tattoo guy.... u sale service there, this is professional machine shop (if I can call it like that). Not drugs in the neigborhood.....

Being an honest Midas customer over the years between CT and NC, I am appalled by their customer service during my last visit. I had an issue with a spark plug that malfunctioned and ruined a head gasket. This shop attempted to up-charge this service and tried to convince me that the vehicle needed a complete overhaul of the head gasket that would need over 7 hours of labor (costing nearly $1450)....towed to another shop and fixed in a matter of 2 hours (costing $375) and very minimal service needed to be performed. Certainly not anything to the extreme measures that this shop had proposed. I would avoid this shop at all cost and they will attempt to sell you anything they think your vehicle "needs", even if you are only bringing in your vehicle for an oil change. I have contacted Midas Corporate regarding this shops sales tactics and unprofessional business.

Have used MIDAS on oleander for almost 10 years and can say they are honest, work hard, are always thinking about the customer, knowing that a lot of people start from a place of mistrust if they dont have previous experience with the service center. We now get both cars serviced at oleander, David, Cam, really everyone tries to keep us happy even when there is money that has to be spent, which aint always easy. Knowing these guys over the years and building trust makes it less painful and in the end, really, they want you in a safe vehicle. Maintaining a car does cost money, like everything else, or the cost gets bigger in the end. Nobody is perfect, keeping you happy...they are going to do their best. Thats all I need. Thanks guys. You know you saved my neck one time big time. David, Ill always be grateful!

Everyone that works that is pleasant, however I went to get a simple oil change and nothing more. After waiting 4 hours I was finally able to pick up my car. While driving home my car was all over the road and shaking so bad I couldnt even hold onto the steering wheel. After pulling into a parking lot I called Midas and they sent a guy to me to see what was wrong. Upon examination he realized that when my tires were taken off for a rotation (that I didnt want or asked for) someone forgot to tighten the lug nuts on the front right tire and the tire was literally about to fall off while I was driving 40 mph. I was told a manger would call to make sure everything was okay, yet never recived a phone call, Im lucky the tire did come off and I or someone else was seriously injured.

This is the absolute worst service I have ever received in my entire life! I called ahead to ask if they could change a fuse, which, even with my limited car knowledge, should not take long. They told me to bring my car in, and that I would not have to wait long. Well, I sat there for 2 hours while they left my car in the parking lot. When they finally took the time to pop the hood, they decided that it wasnt a fuse and that they couldnt do anything for me. Then they referred me to some electrical place. How do they know its an electrical problem if they dont do electrical work!?! I waited TWO HOURS for nothing! Im extremely busy, and Im sure most people going there are too, so if you need something done in a timely manner then I would avoid this place at all costs!
