I will definitely not return to this merchant! I recently purchased a DVD/CD burner here and called them back with a question about the installation and software. I was told "thats not how we make our money". No advice or assistance offered for the product I just purchased, so that says to me I am totally incompetent to plug this into my computer and actually have it magically work! Like I would have to pay them an additional fee because I am not the wizard I pretended to be when I bought it. I called the guys at Intrex and even though I didnt buy this product from them, they walked me through the solution to my problem! THIS is how you create repeat customers! My experience at "The Computer Place" left me feeling trapped, duped, and hostile! I would NOT recommend having service or product from these people! Thats just not how I do business! Two thumbs down.

Great location, great customer service, great knowledge! I have taken my personal computer here as well as my husbands work computer. They are able to diagnose the problem in a timely manner and are very reasonable. They explained the problem and were able to talk me through the process they used to fix it. We have purchased a computer from The Computer Place and the price was very reasonable. I have also used the post office side of the store and the help I received was above and beyond. She helped me get my package sent despite the awkward size of the box and was able to help me repackage to get the items sent without having to leave the store. Will definitely continue to use The Computer Place and recommend them to all friends and family in need of computers or services.

GREAT PLACE. When I needed a laptop for my business four years ago they were very helpful and got me just what I needed at a great price. I use the usps every week for business and have found them to be very helpful. Last month I started having issues with my laptop being sluggish and slow. I took it in to have it looked at. They checked it out and found a number of problems from viruses to unnecessary background programs. I told them I very seldom go on the Internet and when I do Im very careful. They were very helpful and took the time to explain how viruses work and how easily you can get them. They fixed the problem in no time at all and recommended a few inexpensive up grade. Now it runs better than it did new. These people are courteous, helpful and know what they are doing.

Melissa and her husband are the business owners and delivered exceptional customer service. Melissa helped me from the beginning and was very upfront and honest. To anyone that is looking for a place that will not take advantage of you- this is the place to go. You can be rest assured that they will deliver high quality service. Melissa took a lot of her time explaining the technical side of what was needing to be done after the diagnosis of my computer and was very upfront. This was done in a professional manner and I highly recommend her and her husbands computer services to not only my friends and family, but to anyone who is looking for high quality service and a trustworthy source.

CAVEAT EMPTOR went in for a simple HDMI cable. Needed a mini hdmi to standard hdmi cable, got a micro by mistake, thought no big deal, will bring it back. Brought it back, store employee told me to come back tomorrow morning before 10:30 a.m., only the owner can do returns. Come back a third time the next day and the owner tells me he has two signs saying no returns. Told him the package was unopened and I came back 15 min after I bought it. He also didnt carry the mini hdmi cable I needed told me that wasnt what was used most often. Went to INTREX, got intelligent, friendly customer service and bought the cable for $5 less than what I wasted. WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!!

Worst place I have ever been to for a long time for PC service. Their PC knowledge is very basic in my honest opinion. Paid them $280.00, they messed up one fan while moving it because they ordered the wrong fan to begin with (had to switch fan locations and probably charged me for the time switching it as it seems on the receipt ), they ran free hardware test software and charged tech me for the time while the tech was doing other things, got it back and I still have the same problem. Told me on the second trip to pick it up that they couldnt do anything else to it. Bottom line is paid $280.00 and still have the same problem. It was a waste of my time and money.

In my opinion and experience, this is NOT A PLACE TO BE TRUSTED! They stuck me with charges they never talked about just to look at the monitor I was trying to sell them. They gave me a very low offer, which while understandable, cornered me with either accepting that offer or being charged half the amount in fees just to get it back! If you go here, be SURE TO ASK ABOUT CHARGES, because they will not tell you. If there is a form saying a charge MAY apply, then it always will. It is an ambiguous wording they use just to stick you with it later to ensure they get some money out of you.

I have been here a half dozen times. I was told by several people (neighbors, co-workers, and even the management office of my apartment complex) not to go there because they are always super rude. Twice they were neither friendly nor unfriendly. The other times they were varying degrees of rude/unkind. The last time I went there was a few weeks ago - they lady was so outright rude that Ive decided that they wont be getting my business any more. I wont be going back and I hope they go out of business.

Went in to just send off some packages and was completely thrown off by how rude the staff was. Was told that I was given a "warning" for my in date label... and that she would take it this ONE time for me. If she had to do it again that she would BAN me! I have been shipping packages for years and always use correct labels and know how the dates on them work... regardless. It was so rude. Will never use this place for shipping or any other business needs.

I personally felt like the lady was rude. She wouldnt show me any laptop chargers without my laptop and made a very rude comment about my charger. I guess you should work on customer service in this store. I went up the street to Affordable PC Services and he was great. You clearly should work on greeting your customers better and treat each customer equally. Youre losing business.

I brought a laptop in for repairs, but was given back a different, older one. My laptop had Windows 8.1 and the mouse pad in the center. This new one had Windows 7 and was a slightly older model. I went back to explain that there must have been a mix up, but they insisted it was my computer... I will never go back and I encourage others to use another computer repair service.
