Poor-Fair. They are terrible. Saying "fair" is an unworthy compliment. The internet service is fine, but if I had ANY OTHER OPTION, I would get rid of TWC completely. Their TV/DVR service is TERRIBLE. But the biggest irritant is their customer service. Our DVR continually malfunctioned. I CONSTANTLY had to call customer service, which was bad enough, but each time I had to call, I had at least a 20 minute(or longer) hold time. The DVR had to be replaced multiple times, but even though I was paying for the service, they were too busy to get a repair person out for SEVERAL DAYS each time. And the attitudes of the "so called" customer service reps is not stellar either. They did not seem to care that I had to hold for 20-35 minutes each time, nor did they care that when the DVR broke, TWC could not be bothered to come out and fix it until many days later. The final straw was that I dropped my home phone(did not need it anymore) and they RAISED my monthly rate by $100 a month over what I was paying. I called, and tried to talk to customer service, who transferred me to the "retainment department" who told me that there was nothing they could do, since I dropped my home phone. The NEXT day, I found something to do. I now very happily have DIRECTV, and will NEVER look back. Now, can some company PLEASE come to Winston -Salem and offer a competing high speed internet?

We ordered the adapter September to continue to receive the package that we had for many years before they updated their system. they advertised that we must obtain this adapter to continue to receive the government public access channels. We receive the adapters first of October. Did the setup per instructions and received all but the government channels as promised. today is Nov. 8, 2013. Began calling on the very day of setup and continued calling almost every other day until last week . they sent out a tech that put a block on channels that we did not order and he called in an repair order in my presence. Said did they would be out this week. It is Friday . To date we have been waiting for this issue to be corrected . Oh did I mentioned they sent a bill triple times what we normally pay .We ordered 3 adapters and was told they were free but they charged us for 6. The charge for the cable channels was 3 and half times what we normally pay. We have just the basic service. One only can wonder how many unsuspecting Seniors are rip off like this. We just like to pay our bills.So after many calls to foreign countries and the American Customer Service of Time Warner we have not been sent a new bill nor are receiving the basic cable we always had. Debacle, Train-wreck, Failure. Poor Customer Service, Liars. Need deregulation for other cable connections to Public access!

I never thought that such an unprofessional experience was possible. I called to have my service installed on Fathers Day. No one called or showed up. When I called the following Monday, a representative told me he could not get in. I asked to speak to the supervisor and she said he was not available. I spent the next week on the phone with them every day for at least an hour. The reason being I had a past due balance on my account. Which was there fault, they did not cancel the service when I asked them to. After finally figuring this out, each and every representative I spoke to promised me they would get me service. It has been a month and I still dont have service. The foolish technician coming to my house called from a blocked number and only rang twice. The guy I spoke to at customer service was arguing with me about why I didnt answer the phone. When I called him out on it he got really quiet and tried to change the subject. I verbally expressed that if it wasnt for the fact that they are the only service available, I would not be using them. They offer crappy service and they know it. The special promotions guy for my apartment complex was rude as well. TWC is for the BIRDS!

TWC is hands down the worst company all-around that I have ever experienced. To be honest, if someone wanted to build a terrible company, they would need to look at TWCs blueprints. Ridiculously high prices (not advertised honestly) very poor quality hardware, internet speed, HD, etc. I have to hand it to them though; TWC has developed a customer service department that is worthy of being noted. Their customer service has transcended terrible and crossed into just freakishly ridiculous. When you call they make it as difficult as possible to actually talk to someone (maybe because they know none of them know what theyre doing). If you do talk to someone, they either have the thickest accent in the world, or talk like they only have a 2nd grade education. If they encounter a problem, they put you on hold for about half an hour and either disconnect you altogether, or transfer you to someone else and the cycle starts over. If anyone is considering TWC; take it from me, save yourself the headache (because their will be plenty of it), and the money (because you will lose a ton).

I paid my bill. Now its up to Spectrum to provide internet access. Only theres no internet. The troubleshooter on my computer tells me "theres no internet access." What am I paying money for here? Nothing apparently because thats what I got for my money- NOTHING! So nice that we have such business friendly politicians who make it impossible to file suits against businesses when they do not provide the services for which they were paid to provide! So nice that we have such business friendly politicians who allow businesses to monopolize a market leaving us consumers with no choices in the "cornered" market- because this is no free market! I call up Spectrum and they tell me "we dont see any service outages in our system." Theyre useless..... What am I paying for here? Why cant I get my payments pro-rated to account for these days when they arent providing the services I paid for? Oh yeah because the corporation is all powerful and us consumers have no rights. Thank you republican politicians for screwing us!

How is this company still in business?!!! Just found out that my home phone number is linked to another persons account - AND that other person is not paying their bills. After being transferred many times and placed on extended holds….I was told by John in the Greensboro Tier 3 Tech Support group that "due to consumer privacy laws, MY phone number (which has all my personal information linked to it) can not be removed from the bogus/delinquent account. When I asked about my consumer protection, John told me to "call a lawyer". Are you kidding me!!! I pay legal fees to correct a mistake the company, which I assume is governed by the FCC, made and is jeapordizing my identity and consumer credit. My legitimate account is linked to my cell phone, and paid in full! I will begin the process of canceling my legitimate account right away and I suppose will have to change my home number. There still remains a delinquent account linked to my phone account, illegally! I hold this company responsible.
