They dont know how to balance and Aline foreign cars. My grandma busted out the passenger side tires. Brandon and Andy put on a new front tire and the spare tire on the same side of the car, not the same axle. Plus gave it an alinement. She came back the next day and Brandon put a new tire on the rim in the trunk, and put it back into the trunk,Not on the car. The car shook on the highway and pulled. Came in on Saturday and had them change the tires around. After coming back 3 more times, they were still unable to balance the new tires they put on the car. They replaced the tire with matching tires, still they were unbalance. They didnt notice the brake calipers were locked up or the brake pads were getting smaller during the 4 times I took the car back. There was only 600 miles from last time the brakes were checked by Lexus when the car came in with damage tires. I was told that the calipers most likely locked up, and the oil leaked out,do to what ever she hit. The car came in with totally shred tires, and they didnt look to see if there was other damage done to the wheels. AAA had to tow the car from the senior center about 30 feet away.Bob Sumerel is in the business to up sales and check over tires, brakes, wheel, and basic car maintenance. Had to have Lexus balance the car tires, and put on new brakes because Bob Sumerel didnt notify us the brake pads were getting worst even when told it has a shaking problem. I had Andy test drive the car he said didnt feel a thing, but he said he doesnt drive the car enough, this was on Saturday. Lexus had the car on Monday, they balanced the tires, found the stuck Calipers, and was able to fix the issue. Bob Sumerel Needs to learn about foreign cars you put the new tires on the back of the car,not the same side, or front. Plus put in extra effort to look over damage when a car comes in on a tow truck with totally shredded tires. After spending all this time I was only able to get a refund for the balancing. I could have gotten the same tire, cheaper at Lexus and had it done right the first time. The manager Doug laughed at me after I told him about the brakes, and balancing the tires. They didnt take of my grandma theyre not going to take care of you!

Ok. I worked at tire shops when I was younger so I know how these places typically operate. That said, this isnt like those. These guys take the time to do it right and (hate to quote that stupid jingle, but) they really do care! Had a tire that I had to put air im every couple weeks, no big deal but Ive been doing it for roughly 6 months lol. Brought it in around 10 am asking if I would still be at work by 11, dougy fresh says sure! Pulled my jeep in, pulls off the wheel, finds not one but TWO screws in the tire YIKES! Theyre pretty close together which sometimes means the tire is done for but these guys took the time to be very careful in installing 2 patches pretty close to the sidewall ( iffy results if not done right). Boom, all fixed up!! Even makes sure that the wheel is still balanced before remounting! Normally shops charge extra for that. All done, only charges me for a single patch, not for 2. NO shops do that. Im out the door with more in less than a half hour. Im a very happy guy!! With my background in automotive, Im usually highly critical of shops cause "I can do it better" but not with these guys. Theyve earned my trust and my business.

Literally the worst customer service and automotive service I ever received. I would never do business with this organization again and highly recommend you take your business elsewhere. I got a flat tire, they said they had to order the tire and it would be there in a couple of days. I dropped my car off at the agreed on time but they didnt have the tire yet but said they were going to get it that afternoon. I got a ride home and waited for them to call to confirm that they got the tire and put it on my car. I called them an hour before close and they said they would call me back. They never did. The next morning I called them and they said they werent sure about the tire and would call me back. Once again they did not call me back, and I called them 3 times that day only to be told they would call me back. I eventually showed up, and took my car back. They were rude, incompetent and terrible at their jobs. Terrible terrible place. DO NOT VISIT.

The management of this location is very inconsiderate and lacks honesty when scheduling their work bays. Or perhaps, theyre simply inept. I called Doug, a manager, when he suggested during the late afternoon and he said come right over, it would be a short wait if at all. An hour and a half later, after arriving from across town, they informed me it would be another 45 minutes added on. understand that I have bought plenty of tires from this location over the years. Pssssst, ill let you in on something..."they dont care". When I told them I was taking my business elsewhere, the second manager gives me the sarcastic, have a nice day". From the reviews Im seeing here, its quite evident theses guys need to take heed. I wonder if the ownership holds their employees accountable - they had better if they care about their business

Awful service. Used to take all my company cars in for service here but my wife got flat tire and called to set up appointment and they told her no need for appointment time. When we brought the car on the manager was sitting in front watching tv and said "oh no way we can do that today you need to make an appointment to get the tire replaced" when I told him thy we were told we didnt need and appointment and my wife needed new tire cause she had long drive coming up tomorrow he still sitting and watching tv said "well cant help you, you should have made an appointment. I will not be bringing any of my corporate or personal business to any Bob Sumerel again and would suggest you do the same.

On 11/18, I had my car towed to Bob Sumerel in Finneytown because it would not start. They looked at the car and said it needed a new battery, I told them to do that and to change the coolant. They charge a $95 diagnostic fee which they told me would be applied to the battery and coolant change. When they called me to tell me they finished and told me the charge it was about $95 too much. They did NOT apply the diagnostic fee toward the other expenses as they said they would, they even denied they said that. It was full price for the diagnostic fee as a stand alone expense. These people are crooks, liars and cheats. No more business from me.

If youre planning on using AAA as a student out of state, dont join as an Ohio member! All you will get is Ohio benefits and no one from Hyde Park tells you this up front! Your membership doesnt transfer and for a solid year you are bombarded with emails and text messages re: Cincinnati special deals that mean absolutely nothing to you where ever you are going to school. What is worse is that when/if you ever do have an emergency situation, you get trapped in a hell of phone/email AAA crap from one state to another trying to actually get assistance because the states do not play well with each other.
