First, its hard to find an independent shop that is good with Saabs, which is why I came here. Unfortunately, it took five weeks to repair an automatic transmission, which is significantly longer than the 7-10 days that was originally quoted. Bizarre parts availability issues arose and took quite some time to sort through. Theyre exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, and I would have given five stars if it hadnt been such a lengthy process, much of which was outside of the shops control. I guess I was just unlucky. I doubt too many other customers would have such unfortunate circumstances with parts. Two great things: they offer loaner cars and their waiting area is nicely furnished and spacious, which bump this up to a four-star rating. Not the absolute best, but still quite good, and in the end, my car was fixed to the standards that I expected.

I highly recommend Hacker Automotive for their service to our community. They run a clean business, complete with a secured: child play area/waiting room complete with WiFi, beverages, lounge/type seating, big screen TV and a small library of videos. I f that isnt going to fire into your schedule they a willing to allow "loaners", when possible, and will drive you to/from home and/or work. Theyre doing this business as well as anybody could/should. Also, and perhaps primarily, their service work is second-to-none and reasonably priced: efficient, complete, and with the safety of the owners in mind, always.

I brought my car to their location as they set expectations by telling me that I would receive an update the same or next day. It took them almost two weeks for them to give me an update. They would continually promise to call me by the end of the day and then would fail to do so. I would single out Tammy for being especially rude. The best way for me to describe it is to tell people to imagine their worst car mechanic experience. This one was mine. I learned my lesson and will never use their services again.
