Movers were great. Office was TERRIBLE. I hired 4 men and 2 trucks for the Friday before memorial day. The workers were awesome. Fast, polite, efficient. However the sales guy who appraised our stuff swore we would need 3 trucks and 7 men. I told him that we would be moving a bunch of the stuff on our own and would just need the guys for furniture and boxes. I changed the request to 2 trucks and 4 men but still felt only 1 large truck was needed. Well on move day, I was right. The second truck was empty accept for one couch which could have fit on the first truck. Big money loss on the fuel and hourly rental of a truck we basically didnt need. But my quote for the 4 men and 2 trucks for 8 hours was $1200. The guys were done and gone at 5.5 hours and they charged me $1293. They said the overage was for the gas. Well can I get some money back on that empty truck? Then the WORST part. They pre-authorized my card for $2,000 instead of the $1,300 quote?!?!?! Then they left the office for the holiday and didnt correct it. The men were done at 4pm so i know they had time to correct the $700 overage before the banks closed. So I call on Tuesday when they are supposed to be back in the office, and the only woman able to correct the mistake... is still gone on Tuesday. They leave her directions to return the full $2,000 and place the $1300 charge on the card I wanted it on (the sales guy told me I could pick payment method on the day of, but no one called me to ask, they just overcharged). Today is Wednesday. I get an email from the office with the $1300 receipt, but they STILL havent corrected the overage with my bank. I mean, what on earth is this office doing? I believe as of now they have $3300 billed to me for a $1300 move. This really sucks. The moving guys were SO INCREDIBLY GREAT. We tipped them and I was so excited to write this review with their names in hopes their supervisor would see it. Now Im writing this pissy review of the office problems.

Never using again for the following reasons: 1) Damaged goods. Paint was damaged on a few furniture items. Knobs and handles ripped off multiple dressers and tables, which they never told us about. Some furniture chipped. 2) Falsified records. Company padded bill by adding time. They took 3.5 hours to make a trip that takes 2.25 hours at most. Only resolution offered was to remove this extra time AFTER they had been called out on it and told a complaint would be made. 3) Late arrival. Called at 7:50am to let us know they would be on time at 10:30am. Showed up at noon. 4) Service not complete. Truck they brought was not big enough. Didnt bother to offer visual inspection or ask for pictures sent by email to gauge amount of items. Said there was confusion when taking initial phone call. I now have to rent a U-Haul to bring the rest to my new house myself, which negates the entire reason I hired them. 5) Pressure tactics. Pressured into signing papers after being told that the extra hours would not be on the bill. I clearly wrote beside signature "Payment amount not agreed upon" due to these tactics and it already being late. 6) Horrible customer service resolution. Never got a call back after first complaint the day of move. Called back after they billed my credit card and they offered to take the over-billed .75 hours off from the drive between the houses as mentioned in item #2. Offered no other kind of resolution for the other issues other than an apology. Despite obvious disagreements in the facts on the moving day, he kept saying he was sticking with his employees and that was it.

We could not have been more pleased with the services we received from All American Moving. We were moving my 91 and 88 year old parents from a home they lived in for 59 years. This was a traumatic move for them, as they did not want to leave their home, however it was all in their best interest. We were actually concerned for their health, as my family all new this could take a toll on them. All American sent us two men, Nat and Dave, who could not have made the move go any better. They had shown care, compassion, safety, and were very professional in dealing with all of our parents personal items. They put my 91 year old mother at ease. They let my mother know they would take good care of her possessions. They worked non-stop. Actually we had to make them take breaks. By the end of the move, I think they made my Mother feel like they were her own family, but then she realized her own family would have taken many more breaks!!! The office staff was also very helpful, and our final bill was very clear. We would recommend these movers in a heartbeat. Thank you All American Movers, our family truly appreciated your services.

Ive employed All-American for three residential moves in the last six years (two of them were "decluttering moves" before selling the house). Unfortunately, at the time of the penultimate move, my wife got a lower bid from another "leading" moving company, and we used them -- huge mistake, huge. The errors were too numerous to list here, and the money saved was NOT worth it. They even made us pay the first $100 of the cost to repair the damage caused by THEIR incompetent employees. We then went back to All-American for the last move and had another flawless experience. Its amazing how little turnover there is at this company; thats good evidence that its a place that pays their good people well enough that they dont lose them. ALL employees are superbly competent and polite, but you cannot go wrong with David Fergusons crew. OUr expeience with All-American has been so good that Ill never again even get a competing estimate. Ill just go with the best.

If there was a star lower than -zero that would be the star I would grade this company with. The worst moving experience ever. Moving company from HELL and I usually prefer to say dislike but they really got the trophy. Do not ever do business with people like this Worst work ethic, service you can ever imagine. Well wait imagine ? Nah! Even if you try to imagine worst - we do not think you have imagined it yet. Really, really upset we fell for it! They broke our furniture on top of it!!! I am so mad that I think its best not to think about the low lifes that own this company because our well being is far more important than getting aggravated for scum bags like these. So if you ever think of giving them a chance please do not waste your time and save yourself the aggravation. Oh, and by the way - We are talking about the company located in Fort Lauderdale area - Broward County

Updated review included. During my delivery there was an unfortunate accident involving damage to one of my neighbors luxury cars. After having contacted the company as well as feedback I have received from the neighbor, it appears the company is rectifying the situation through their insurance. As far as the quality of the delivery goes, it was pretty much standard. Nothing stood out as particularly exceptional but it was done competently. In the end, the whole process was so tainted for me by having to deal with the problems the accident caused that I dont feel that I will ever consider my experience on the level of good to great. I will give 3 stars because the product I ordered was delivered in proper shape which is the bare minimum you can expect from a company that moves and/or delivers products.
