Wow, there are so many positives to list; I dont know where to start. I really cant think of any negatives. Go Moving Ahead! First, Jeff gave me a fair quote very promptly. It wast a lot more than my recent move from NYC to Cincinnati, and the distance is much greater, so it seemed like a good deal. I mentioned my Angies List discount, and they honored it, even when I later told them that I may have underestimated how many items I had. Wow, impressive. Integrity from the get-go. Then I was handed off to Spensir, who was really great in so many ways. He was always super quick to respond to my emails, and we even chatted a few times on the phone. I probably drove him crazy with all my questions, but he always gave answers and good advice, often within a few hours! Once I even felt he was my temporary therapist. ha He alleviated much stress! Thanks for the moral AND logistical support, Spensir! I felt like the entire logistics/paperwork process was too easy to not be a scam. I had to be missing something, because how could moving be this simple? Ive been lucky with all my previous moves in the sense that all the guys have been ethical, polite, and hardworking, but this company (and moving guys) took it to another higher level. Its going to be hard to live up to my new standard, future moving companies! heh I had Bob, Desmond, Ryan, and Joel in Cincinnati, with Joel being the guy who drove all the way to California. Joel came in a separate truck — the one used to load up my stuff. Every single guy was a total pro, very likable. They seemed genuinely interested in what I was doing out in Los Angeles, too. They were super appreciative of the food goodies we left for them and post-load tips. They chose to take the stairs (Im on the 3rd floor) instead of the elevator, because the elevator was so far away from my apartment. I couldnt believe how quick they were, especially with many heavy items and stairs! I dont think they even really took a break?!?! They moved over 125 boxes, plus quite a bit of heavy furniture and miscellaneous items in under 2 hours! I had a 2 bedroom, but more stuff than the average 2BR. I think they were the quickest movers I have ever had, but they were also very careful. Nice combo! They seemed to get along really well with each other, too, which always helps the teamwork. A+. Thanks, guys! You are awesome. I reconnected with Joel in Hollywood and two other local guys. All of my stuff made it, and there really wasnt any damage! Again, Joel and the other two, Justin and Chris (and Moving Ahead dealt with finding local guys so I didnt have to worry about any of that), worked very hard and got everything moved in about an hour! Amazing. The two new guys were careful and polite, too. I had a nice chat with Joel after the move. I was actually sort of sad to see him go...he (along with everybody else) helped me out big time. He took care of all my belongings for many, many miles. He had a nice combination of professionalism (checked in with me to let me know how things were going -- all the reports were positive, he made perfect time...was always on track...) and laid-back ease. He seems like he could just roll with the punches and get the job done regardless of any potential obstacles, which is clearly a great quality to have as an employee of a company. Also, as a side note, great personality and hilarious! I have already had a few negative experiences in Los Angeles, but Moving Ahead sure made at least the moving part simple for me!! I certainly understand why the company has an A+ BBB rating. Thanks, guys of Moving Ahead! Highest Recommendation.

I am so impressed by this company so far!! John was my phone contact he was efficient, sensitive to my circumstances, creative in getting me moved when our schedules didnt initially match!! I called because of the great reviews and was even more impressed when I talked to him. Then came a "new" John and Anthony on moving day... they were just spectacular...called ahead, on time, they packed everything as if it were fine china.. they moved quietly and with a smile. They were clean and sensitive to the circumstances of a recent death. I cant say enough good things!! Use them and feel really good to be with such good people. I know it will be just as good when things get to my home July 23rd after some storage time due to their busy schedules. I understand why they are so busy,..They are really this good!!

We were very impressed with the Moving Ahead Services Team that completed our local move here in Dublin on Wednesday, April 2nd. Bob, Jeremy, and Desmond were personable, courteous, careful, accommodating of our requests and most of all professional. Frankly, they exceeded our expectations. The service provider (Spensir Chappell) was exceptional. Ive been in the military over 22 years and this was the best move Ive experienced to date. None of my items were scratched or broken. I had a great deal of glass whereby I thought would be broken but to my surprise, no items were damaged and I did not have any of my items missing. Hands down, best moving company and you want Spensirs presence to ensure all your items are wrapped and packed well. Im very satisfied with the price and the service received!!!

We recently moved from an apartment to a home and the crew that we had was really great. The guys were all friendly and even though we were indifferent about our furniture placement, the guys insisted they were there to help and encouraged us to take advantage of their assistance. The guys constantly checked with us to ensure they were doing the best job they could and protected our things as if they were their own. We will definitely use them again in our next move.

Very careless with my furniture and new refrigerator. Chipped player piano, broke television, brole glass table and put dents (small) on front doirs of brand new fridge. When I requested compensation for damage, I was asked to sign agreement stating I would never pist negative reviews about company. This was a condition of reimbursement. I refused to sign due to principle. Have never been reimbursed. I strongly recommend NOT using this company for your needs.

Movers were speedy, punctual, polite, and affordable. Packed and moved my 8 bedroom house, and my butter manufacturing business from Columbus,Ohio to Barstow, California. Nothing broken, nothing lost, not a scratch on anything. The move could have not gone more perfectly. We had a very confusing move, with a great deal of logistics involved. Moving Ahead Services Nailed it. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for white glove moving services at a great rate.

The move was estimated to take 4 to 6 hours. Having moved my parents and my in-laws three times in the past 3 years I estimated it would take 8 hours. It actually took 12 hours which is ridiculous. They arrived 45 minutes late. There were supposed to be 4 guys but only three showed up and one of the 3 was brand new so had to be told to do stuff. I would not recommend using them to others that are moving.
