This location is abysmal. The customer service was terrible when I called about self storage. They man I spoke with couldnt answer any questions that I had with any certitude. It was as if he didnt know what was offered, nor the price, nor anything else. Needless to say I rented a storage unit elsewhere. Yet, I still needed a vehicle. When I rented a van and didnt pick it up at the exact time that I told them, I was called by the location to say that "I am lucky they even held a vehicle for me" because they could have just charged me and not had a vehicle. When I asked whats the point of having a reservation (which is supposed to be from the time I said I would pick up until 8:30am the next morning), all the woman would keep saying is that I was lucky they even kept a vehicle for me. Her tone was demeaning and rude. I still dont understand what the point of a reservation is if they will just cancel it on a whim if you dont pick it up exactly when you said you would. To top off my whole experience with this location, my car was struck and seriously damaged by a uhaul employee while my car was parked in their lot and I was using their vehicle to move stuff. I did not know of this event until I returned the van after-hours and went to my car to find the rear bumper ripped off and the entire rear of the car shifted about 7 ft! They were kind enough to leave a note. So, at 10pm, in a somewhat sketchy part of town, I was waiting for the police to file a report. Uhaul should have called me as soon as the damage happened. Everything about this location is TERRIBLE. I will never go back and probably never use uhaul again.

I attempted to use the online self service option to retrieve my truck. I followed all the instructions, located my truck, took pictures of damage that was not marked, etc. When it was time to retrieve my keys, the woman training pulled up a truck that was not the one the online application had assigned me too. When I told the woman this, she got rude with me and went to find the general manager. After I explained the issue he said to me "No. Thats not how it works. I pick the trucks." Why would I be assigned a truck with the application only to be given a different truck when going to the counter? I explained that I didnt want to be accidentally charged for two trucks or be responsible for any possible damages someone might do to the truck I was still associated with on my online account. He made zero effort to explain anything to me and only continued to tell me that I was wrong. When I finally noticed that the account numbers were the same on the two contracts I now had, I reluctantly conceded to take the other truck. As I was leaving, I saw the original truck I was supposed to be renting being given to someone else even though the general manager told me the reason they switched my truck was because that one had "maintenance issues". Needless to say, I have never dealt with such as unprofessional "general manager" nor do I ever wish to rent from Uhaul again.

We tend to rent a U Haul 2-3 times per year for the last 10 years, and this was without question the worst experience that we have ever had! The truck was much akin to driving a sherman tank, and it was beaten up like one that driven through a minefield. Now, I have had sub-par trucks in the past, but never have I been berated, argued with, and treated like my business meant less than the dirt on the floor. The customer service at this location alone will keep me from ever returning, nor anyone else who helped me move and was privileged enough to hear me rant all morning. Yes, like others have already mentioned, the woman there is extremely rude!

My mother and I went there this past week to help me put my items in storage for a few weeks while I wait to move into my new place. Yes, there are new employees there as of right now that are still learning, but they are so kind and caring about whatever you need. Especially the manager, Mr. Shaw. He is so kind and gets you in and out of there with a smile on his face and the most positive of attitudes. I recommended it to one of my roommates while we were moving out and she had the same experience.

Not a bad location. They have a full supply of moving materials (boxes, tape, etc) unlike a lot of the other uhaul locations in Columbus. They do seem to be understaffed, so if you have questions or really need anything be prepared to wait. Everyone has always been helpful, and they have always carried my boxes and other stuff to the car for me, which is appreciated.

I was lazy and didnt reserve a trailer. It showed one here, but my roll of the dice was not favorable, it had been rented out shortly before I got there. They were extremely helpful in tracking another down locally Their network was down, and they called like 15 other places and asked. Great customer service!

I rented a huge truck here last month and the staffs are super friendly and helpful. They have a variety of trucks to choose from. The only suggestion is to upgrade some of the trucks to a newer one and clean up the internal. The truck I rented is a little dirty inside.

Youll waste your time here. Good luck finding service during what google calls "peak hours" - it was 3:30 on a Friday afternoon and I waited at the register for almost 10 minutes. No one was there, no bell to call for service, it was dead. I ended up walking out.

Called and asked to reserve a car trailer. Their rep said "no problem". Got there in less than an hour, but it had been rented to someone else who "left a credit card number". Funny... NEVER EVEN ASKED FOR OURS! Horrible Horrible Horrible.

They asked us "about what time" we expected to be done with the van, we gave an estimate, and when we returned it slightly later than that got double charged the $20 rental fee. No explicit mention of any time limit or associated fees.

They did not have the hitch I wanted but they looked it up and told me where to go to get it. The extra effort was appreciated - this was the only location of the 3 I called that offered to do this for me.
