I chose this location because they had the most reasonable price I could find for my size of unit when I was shopping around. The fact that Uncle Bobs offers free use of their moving truck was definitely a huge bonus! The truck comes with 25 free miles (with I think 89 cents/mile after), and I live near enough that I didnt have to pay anything extra for it, only a few dollars in gas -- they require that you top it off before returning it. This particular location was very clean, and the manager lives on sight, so it is more secure. The woman here is named Jean, and she is one of the best and nicest people I have ever done business with. She was very informative, telling me at least two dozen things I didnt even realize I needed to know about the renting process. She truly made the entire exchange so much easier for me.

I have used storage in Columbus before, most notably at the U-Haul place on East Fifth Avenue. That place was an awful mess and I am quite sure that security was lacking there because the people who were helping us move just showed up in front of our unit as we were beginning to unload our items--no problem getting through the main gate. Life Storage on Cleveland Avenue was and is totally different. The whole property was immaculately clean and the staff, especially Sheree, was extremely helpful. Everything was explained thoroughly and simply in an authentically friendly manner. I am very hopeful that this will be a different storage rental experience. Thanks to the ladies of Life Storage for making this easy!

I visited different places to make sure my stuff would be safe. Several places seemed to give me prices and shove me out the door. When I came here the manager took her time and showed me several spaces, with different sizes and locations. She told me how to arrange my stuff to get the most for my money. She also told me which items to cover for the winter and even told me about the stuff they sell to help me store it safely. When I left the location all my fears of putting my stuff in storage were gone. She was excellent. I know my stuff will be safe. Thank you!

I have only positive things to say about my experience with Life Storage. I have dealt with many others and was not satisfied (ex. potholes, bad lighting, uncleanliness, etc.) The manager (Lisa) was extremely friendly and helpful; she exhibited the best customer service I have seen in my 5+ years in Columbus. I needed a space quickly and at a reasonable price. She went above and beyond. She saved me money and even arranged a free moving truck for half a day. Honestly I left feeling a little better about the world. Thank you Lisa!!!!!!

I would not advise people of color to come here. They are prejudice bias liars and will target scheme people of color to make them pay more money in any way they can . They dont hire people of color there nor do they care about people of colors rights in business. They have second rate units and overcharge for them especially with them being in a bad area. They also have problems with critters. If you see a business with the name Uncle & Bob then its going to be a problem.
