Every time a package needs delivered theres hassle. Ordered a gift for a friend and they deemed my address Ive lived at for over a year and received mail at as "invalid". Had to drive up and when I presented my license with the address, the guy tells me the address isnt valid. Package wasnt delivered because that address doesnt exist. It was the exact same address the rest of my mail came to. Wouldnt deliver a passport because it wouldve been "late" since I paid for expedited shipping. It was to be delivered around 12/23 of last year. I watch the tracking numbers, and suddenly "undeliverable". I call asking why. "Well, our route person is back at the office for the evening and missed delivering that. So since it wouldve been late from when you ordered it, we arent able to deliver it." What?! So I ask "Is it going to go out with the next round of deliveries to my area?" "oh no. Well hold it for 24 hours and then we send it back to the sender. So Christmas Eve got to go in at the crack of dawn because they couldnt deliver a passport correctly/on time. Now theyre telling me that mail that shouldve been forwarded isnt going to be because (insert reason here). Package was shipped to address, we quickly bought a house, forwarded all our mail a good week before the package was to arrive, it was deemed undeliverable at our old address (understandable.) and I called making sure its going to be forwarded to our new address. Oh yes, no problem at all. "undeliverable" means its going to be forwarded. So it was sent to the Michigan sorting center, wheres theres no contact number, and then sent back to the sender because....... well, 2 months later, I finally got the package. Had to file a claim with usps, they informed me the package was at this location. Walked in gave the tracking number and they tried stalling. "Its out for delivery, its stuck in a bin, its been sent back to sender." I tell them its been 2 months since the label was created for tracking and I paid for priority. She says "well give me your phone number so I can do some research and Ill call you." No....no. Its been 2 months. Last time I left my phone number they never called and sent the package back to sender. So I said Id wait. "Well itll take a while." So i volunteered to call the cops and have them help look and press charges for mail theft. She leaves and 1 1/2 hours later my package is magically found. Coworker took care of everyone out front because veejay? Was missing and he told the girl helping me. She gets huffy and says "yea because I have to help HER!" And throws her hand towards me. Horrible horrible service. 2 months for a single package sent priority? Then blame the customer for your incompetence?

****WARNING LONG REVIEW (but if you have a few minutes and want an honest, well explained review then please read through it and enjoy the fact that its not just more complaining/ranting!)**** After reading a lot of the negative and 1-Star reviews on here, Id like to address them and how YOU can prevent a lot of these issues from ever arising. Here are the two most mentioned: 1) The Slow Service: I 100% agree with everybody that the post office is one of the slowest places on Earth no matter what time you go. Sure, you can put all the blame on the employees (who have NO URGENCY) or all you guys (the customers) can take action and do things like buying your postage, shipping labels, stamps, etc. online. After doing this once you will never want to go back to standing in line ever again. Its super easy and once you get to the post office all you have to do is set the packages on the countertop! Your 30 minutes spent inside will turn into 30 seconds. 2) The Indian Guy: Its a shame to see so many people hate on a single person, but once again yes I do understand why everybody doesnt like him (it always seems like hes mad, doesnt care, or is in a bad mood) but dont treat him so poorly online, hes still a person like you and me. Get to know him, talk to him, joke around with him before you truly judge him. He really is a nice guy who is just serious when hes working cause thats the way he works. If you watch Seinfeld and have seen "The Soup Nazi" episode then you will understand the comparison here and how I am trying to be his Kramer. So then.... Yes, 5 stars! It really is a great post office. It has the absolute best hours in town with it being open until 7pm on the weekdays and 3pm on Saturday! Not many other POs in all of Columbus have late hours like that so its very very nice if its your main one that you go to. Also, with it being Dublins main post office, it is a very big building with ample PO Boxes and plenty of space and kept clean on a daily basis. And if you are going to get a personal or business PO Box, then I highly recommend getting it here if you live in Dublin. It is also the fastest way to get your mail or any packages because all Dublin mail is first dispatched to this building and is then either distributed out from here or transferred to the other Dublin office and then distributed out. If you have a Box at this location (main office) then your mail/packages will come straight from being sorting in Columbus up to this location, cutting out some of the delivery process.

I now understand why the US Postal Service is on the brink of collapse. I ordered a package through Amazon that was scheduled to be delivered in 3-5 business days. After I hadnt received anything for about 8 days, I went online to check the status of my package, which said it had been "delivered". Concerned, I called my leasing office to see if anything had been dropped off (even though I never received a delivery notice from the postal carrier). Still nothing. I called the Emerald Pkwy postal office to see if maybe they could help me get to the bottom of what had happened. 1. Best of luck getting someone to answer the phone at this location (I had to call 2-3 times back to back) 2. I explained to the employee who answered the phone my concern and all they could tell me is the mail carrier said they delivered it to the leasing office and would have left me a notice in my mailbox. I told them again I had already called the leasing office and had NEVER received a notice of delivery in my mailbox. 3. Employee just answered with "well the mail carrier said it was delivered so..." SO... What the Heck? Obviously it wasnt delivered, so where do I go from here??? Absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I feel like I literally had to do everything for myself. They provided no answers or solutions except to call the US postal service inspection, another long wait on the phone, and maybe I can get some answers... Who has time for this? Bottom Line: Im out $50. No package. No answers. Disappointment in another government service.

Worst experience ever! Had two packages mailed Express to get here next day at noon as they were fragile and perishable. Called at 10:45 am when tracking said it had been picked up. Told that the courier from my office (mailed to my work address) had picked them up at 10:30 am. Multiple calls later, found out courier actually picked up mail at 8:30 am and packages did not arrive to the post office till about 10:30 am. Spoke to a so called supervisor Teresa THREE times and each time she told me the same thing. Fourth time I called and placed on hold for over 20 minutes and in the meantime I physically drove to the post office. Finally face to face with Teresa and was still on hold on the phone waiting for her to pick up after Michelle told me she was getting her on the phone. Teresa claimed Michelle never let her know she was wanted on the phone. She finally goes to the back to check and my packages were just sitting in a box back there. Her excuse? She does not work in the back. I spoke to you THREE times and you kept confidently giving me information on the phone and you couldnt even get off your butt to go check? I explained the necessity of finding the packages since they were perishable, and you were too lazy to even do the minimum due diligence, instead just kept referring me back to my companys mail room? Ridiculous the sheer laziness and lack of brains exhibited. A shame and disgrace to the postal workers out there that actually care about their work.
