I cant recommend against this location strongly enough. I got my unit here in 2014, back when it was still Cardinal Self-Storage. At some point in late 2015, early 2016 Public Storage took it over and the decline in the overall experience was both sharp and sudden. To begin with, my rates climbed more than 20% since Public Storage took over, far ahead of inflation. Much more importantly, though, the number of usable carts in my building have gone from two to zero. There are no hand-trucks or carts available to move your things. That might not sound like a big deal but many of the units are indoors, 25-150 yards away from the door, so if youre lugging something heavy or multiple things at once, youre in for a long afternoon. Ive asked the front desk about the carts and Ive only ever gotten a dismissive assurance that there is a cart somewhere on the property. They dont tell me where. They dont help me find it. Maybe most importantly, their attitude has that real "youve interrupted my lunch" vibe that just makes you feel right at home. Moreover, even if there is a cart, somewhere in the facility, there have to be more than 250 units across multiple buildings. I dont think one cart is going to get the job done. This has, by the way, been a problem for 7+ months. They clearly have no interest in doing anything about it. Im moving soon so its not worth it to move somewhere else for just a couple months. However, I relish the day no longer have to give this location and this company my money. Avoid at all costs. Edit: for what its worth, does anyone else feel that its strange EVERY positive review calls the employees by name? Ive been here for three years. Theyve never introduced themselves to me by name and I dont even remember the employees wearing name tags.

While the staff are very nice and motivated, the police on refund if unit is not used is a rip off. I rented the unit in May near the end of the month and pre paid for June. As our move terms changed I learned I no longer need the unit. Still in the month of May I ask for a refund as I have yet to even open the unit door by this point.... Out of the 280 I paid only 50+ dollars could be issued. Now if I have not entered the unit and the month prepaid for has yet to come, I cant see why in the world I couldnt get a refund. Policy is all the answer I was given. Poor business practices on upper management/ owners. Staff is extremely nice but as a company if I could give a negative rating I most certainly would.

Shame on Public Storage.I have kept in contact with you regarding my late payment in Oct. I have notified you of my cancer treatments and not able to work for a while. However, you took my partial payment of $60. in Oct and Auctions off my property Nov. WTF....I asked you to give me until Nov 25 to get my account current, but on Nov 21 you had no heart or compassion for the tough situation people face. it s not like i abandoned the unit I fell behind barley 30 days and less than $50. I hope you all have a peaceful Christmas.

Poor customer service. Reserved online. Went in at 2:30 the next afternoon, sign on door said they would return at 3:30. Odd but ok, give them a shot. Return at 3:30, still closed. Call the number, goes to voice mail. Waited until 4:00 but no return call and no one showed up but the mailman, who left since no one answered the door. At approximately 4:20, received a call from person who actually yelled at me for not scheduling a specific time to meet with her, saying she was busy and had other things to do.
