Awful. I dont find the need to say this much but if there was the ability to give this place less than one star, I would do it in a heartbeat. I can be very specific on the reason that I will never go back to this location. If I remember correctly, his name is Mark and I believe he may be the manager. It seems like he never has a day off because every time Ive gone there he is there. Ive actually tried to go there just to avoid this guy. Unfortunately the reason this person rubs me the wrong way so hard, is that he is really trying to sell. And as much as I can appreciate that, he goes about it the wrong way. Every time Ive been in there he tries to up sell the synthetic oils with some horror story about, "A guy who was in last week, and he didnt go with a synthetic and his engine blew up and it cost him $4,000 to get the engine replaced. Id hate to see that happen to you. I really would. But you know, I understand its your choice. I just hate to see anything bad happen.". In fact one time, when we went back and forth and my repeated attempts to decline the synthetic oil were ignored, they put it in and charged me for it anyway. When he was ringing me up he made it sound like thats what I wanted. When in fact I told him several times thats not what I wanted. That was the last time I went there. I actually have gone to the location in Middletown. This location is literally 90 seconds from my house. Middletown, about 10 or 15 minutes. Totally worth the drive. Heres the deal, when it comes to oil, check your manual! In fact, the wrong oil can not only do damage to your vehicle but it may create warranty problems if it does damage your vehicle. You need to put in the recommended OEM oil! The manufacturer knows best. Mark at Midas does not! Would I go back? Absolutely not. I had gone several times. I tried. But each time I left there more frustrated, aggravated and just completely annoyed with the manager. The other guys, seem to be nice enough guys and didnt have a problem with. But theyre not the ones that you have to sit in the waiting room with and deal with when youre checking in and checking out your vehicle. Not worth it, Im done. And, if you dont want to take my word for it, from what Ive seen of the other reviews on here, they all follow suit with what Im saying.

WOW EXCELLENT DEAL!! Ok, first off, I gotta give a shout out to Chad. Talk about handling biz and being assertive, I walked in , wanting an oil change and 1 new tire.. Keep in mind all 4 tires need to be replaced. So after I left Chad called me to let me know if I wanted to get all 4 tires it would be X amount of dollars but he would need to head over to the tire warehouse to grab the ones on sale. I said no worries, lets just do the one for now with the oil change. He know I needed 4 tires (they were bald) but I had my heart set on one. 1 hour later he calls me and says he doesnt want to bother me but found out about another tire in stock and that these would be $50 lower PLUS he would throw in the oil change for free.... BOOM!!!! I run my own biz and its really REALLY hard to upsell me on a product because Im always looking for the pitch, but I gotta say, I reward those that try really hard and do their research. Chad did both, and needless to say, I got the 4 tires and feel much safer on the road with my family! .. Thanks Chad!

We paid for "Remove & Replace Air Filter" in January 2015. About 3 months later our car broke down, would barely start, and the engine would not stay running for longer than one or two seconds. Had it towed to a Firestone auto care because it was closer to where we broke down. Firestone diagnostics discovered that the car was MISSING AN AIR FILTER. We called Mark Soriano who manages the Midas who charged us to remove & replace the Air Filter. Mark offered to have it towed to his Midas at no cost to us, which we did. He then proceeded to tell us that the car breaking down likely had nothing to do with the missing air filter, and charged us $450 for the replacement of some electronic sensor part. When we went to pick the car up Mark was not there, and there was nothing for us to do but pay the $450 to get our car back. We needed it to drive to work, so what else could we do? Will never take any of our cars there ever again, absolutely horrible service and even worse customer care after the fact.

I read some of the bad reviews and it made me concern about this place, but because I just needed a simple oil change for my Toyota, I decided to give them a shot. The service was done in a timely manner, perhaps because there was no one a head of me. The manager was nice and we chatted a lot about different things. After the service was over he gave me a list of some services that would be needed or were recommended to be done, including engine oil leak, repairing steering rack and pinion, brake rotors change. The oil leak and also rack and pinion issues were exactly the same things that different Toyota dealers had told me in the past. Also changing the brake rotors was quite reasonable and made sense. So in overall, although I got a quote of $3-4K repairs, I believe their work was professional and accurate. I hope if I have a visit to this place again, I get same impression.

Went in for an oil change and they told me that I had a bad engine oil lead and that all of my fluids needed changed, air filter, cabin air filter, radiator flushed and all kinds of things that I had done <6K miles ago at a dealership to maintain my 100K mile warranty. I thought maybe the dealer I use for the warranty services maintenance like this had scammed me. So, I went an hour and a half out of my way to visit a friends shop to see if he could make heads or tails of what this office had told me versus the dealership who does the regular warranty maintenance items tells me... My friend said everything Midas had told me was untrue, no engine oil leak, no dirty fluids, no bad filters. I will no longer be taking any of my automobiles here and would recommend the same to anyone else. This seems to be a theme for this shop...

Do not get your vehicle worked on here! I agree with the 4 other poor reviews. They try to scam you into buying other parts that your vehicle doesnt need, are not honest, and get frustrated when you do not take their advise. I have had my oil changed there multiple times and over the past two changes was supposed to have a free oil change, but they keep saying it will be free on the next change (even though my records report a free one currently). I also had some work done on my car and when I picked the car up my anti lock brake sensor was broken (working fine when I dropped the car off). I confronted them about it and they would not own up to their mistake and stated that I could get it fixed there for $700. I laughed and walked out. *This place is very dishonest. So if you want to get scammed go here, but if not STAY AWAY!
