This is the second time Ive had the great displeasure Im having Tim be the post office agent I had to use. He is the older gentleman in his fifties mustache brown hair. I dont mail a lot of things out so I had a just a few questions about how to ship my item. The first question I asked him was if it was possible to do return shipping where I could pay for the shipping to have the item returned to me after it was serviced. He stood there with a blank stare on his face for several seconds. He did not know the answer to that question and had to ask his coworker. She was very friendly, simple solution to the problem. Then I told him it wasnt necessary for me to do the return shipping and then I would just have it sent there and figure it out another way. Even still there looking dumb founded motionless for several more seconds. I then told him I would like the package sent via Priority Mail. Which he quickly and almost snidely responded by asking me if I had a shipping label done in a tone as if I was such an imposition for him having to do his job. I told him I would need one because I wasnt sure what kind of label I needed for the method of shipping I used. He handed me a label and asked me to step aside so we could help other customers while I fill that out. The next issue I ran into was him telling me that it was going to cost me more because of the size of the box I chose to use. I asked him what the dimensions were for the next price down so I could try to save myself some money. He then proceeded to show me approximately how big with his hands. Thats when I asked him if the computer said what the next size down was for a lower shipping cost. He said no and that information could be found online. After I finish paying he put up his close window sign or whatever the sign read. Then proceeded to give attitude to the person behind me in line because he had a lot of stuff to do in the back. I dont typically leave negative feedback unless its really bad like it was in this situation. Ive never had this bad of an experience at a post office before Im also planning on camping this to corporate.

I do a lot of business with the Maumee Post Office through my work, I went there today and sent out paperwork to our client and when I returned to my desk there was todays mail delivery. There in the middle of the pile was important mail that I mailed out the day before so it would get to location by tomorrow, I went back to Post Office to have them get it to location by tomorrow, I was told it would cost me $22.45 to get it there, I said why should I pay when it was your mistake. Was told that they will never pay for anything like this and was told to drive it to location. Now there is real customer service, Also there is one lady there that waited on me earlier and she had her hand full of sunflower seeds putting one in her mouth every 30 seconds and checking me out with one hand, This place needs a manager that can enforce Customer Service, If I did not have to go there I would stay clear but due to location i have to use it often. So sad that they dont represent themselves better. I wonder what they make an hour?

I gave it three stars primarily because they are open late. Other then that I think the people that work here are typical to below average post office workers. One person in particular really irritated me there. It was 620 on a Friday and I had missed the pickup at my work but it had to go out that day to make it to a client by Monday. I was shipping using one of the flat rate boxes and it had the slightest bulge. She told me she wouldnt accept it because the item I was shipping didnt fit. She also told me I would have to get a new box to ship it because she couldnt accept that box unless it was being shipped using that method. So here I am on a Friday at 620 with no way to get another box before they close and just trying to get off to start the weekend. All over a 1/8th of an inch bulge. By the time I got a box that worked UPS and Fedex were closed so I had to resort to paying for overnight which cost me about $70 more all over a 1/8th of an inch bulge and a disgruntled power hungry postal worker.

I made an account on Google to review this USPS office. Every time I call to ask a simple question, the same woman answers the phone and is absolutely one of the rudest people I have talked to without any provocation or any reason to be annoyed with what Im asking. She sounds like she hates being at work and just doesnt want to talk to customers. I know this review ultimately wont matter really, because its USPS and why would they care. However I just wanted to put it out there that whoever the woman is that answers the phone when I call is one of the rudest and impatient people I have ever talked to without having a reason to be. She doesnt answer the phone happy, then get progressively more annoyed. She just picks up the phone and talks in an apathetic, annoyed, and down talking tone. Shes really the worst. That is all.

This post office is awful. I called to ask if they could hold a package for pickup since it was already a day late and I wanted to get it as soon as possible, and the postmaster REFUSED to do it for me on the basis that me standing at the counter being handed a package takes away from revenue they could be earning from the people waiting behind me in line. When I asked what about the revenue theyd be losing when I come down there to stand at the counter and formally complain, she told me if I did that shed have the cops waiting for me there to arrest me. Some customer service.

Before going south for the winter I submitted a temp change of address on the USPS website. After no mail for two weeks I called and was told I needed to submit another one. When I called back shortly later to give them the confirm number on the 1st one a different man told me it wasnt in the system but they had it. Told me he would fix it. After no mail for another week I called again and a lady confirmed I was in the system. Its now 24 days after forwarding was to start and no mail. Lucky for me I can check my bills via the internet or the late fees would be coming.

Wish I could give this place a -1. I have, never in my life, dealt with such rude staff. I dont know how the blonde lady deals with such a b*tch to her left. The first couple times I blew it off, just thinking she was having a bad day. Ten plus times at this location she has had attitude TO EVERY CUSTOMER she deals with. She needs to go. Taking all my business to the UPS Store across the street.
