After many years at Public Storage- Milford, I had to vacate my unit(s) today. Oh, dont get me wrong here, I was ALWAYS punctual with payment before the 1st of every month BUT, since PSs "merger/acquisition/buyout" or whatever Wall Street is calling it these days, the continuous rate increases at about every 6 months is getting out of hand due to corporate greed. Before Jan 2016, my rate was $122/month, Jan 1, 2016 it jumped to $133.90 & beginning tomorrow July 1, 2016 my payment wouldve been $145 & change (and these are just examples in the past 12 months). Seeing a pattern here? I finished moving out today to a nearby competitor, same size unit & conditions/with a $2000 upgrade to my insurance for, wait for it... $55 LESS/month than PS! Ive never had any complaints about the staff but this company is turning into a heartless gold digger FAST! Ive heard other stories from various tenants in the past week & well, Ill let them tell you, if they dare, about certain possible health & property risks. All I can say is if I couldve opted for 0 stars, instead of 1, I surely wouldve did that. Do your research before you decide...

I called an asked for a quote on a storage unit. I wanted to store a registered car with some extra tools. I didnt feel very welcomed I have to say. They treat you like youre at the doctor with their pre-written questions they ask you. Anyways, I told her what I needed to store and she checked on any available units. She said she didnt have any available. I asked her what sizes they have and how much they go for and she said she couldnt tell me those details because she cant view the specs. What kind of storage company doesnt know what sizes and prices they go for at their own location? Again, I realize they are unavailable. I simply wanted to know what they go for. Being an employee that should be your priority. You have one job! I am highly disappointed with the PublicStorage on 6068 Banch Hill Guinea Pike in Milford, OH and who ever owns this franchise, you need to fix how you run it. If there were a ZERO star like some other person had said in their review I wouldnt hesitate to give it all day long.

Its clean and maintained but I dont like the forced insurance that they dont tell you about until your signing the contract. Insurance isnt included in the quoted price but your required to purchases either way so your $64 unit is really $79 after the tax and insurance, and yes thats even if you already have your personal property insured thru a well know insurance company. Paid several months in advance when I got the unit, no discount for that but a $20 late fee (over 25% of the original rent) the first time you pay on the 7th. Lesson learned, I wont be using them ever again after I vacate this one!

The price and some of the front desk workers are good. Maintenance at the place is lacking. Drywall ceilings are falling apart and onto your stuff. Corporate will not contact you about any issues you bring up. Snow removal doesnt happen, so good luck in the winter. Saw multiple units with drywall problems. They did get me into another unit, but I never had any luck with getting a reimbursement from drywall falling on my car.

Honestly, this place had everything I needed. If your looking for a locker too keep your things safe this is the place to be. And dont even get me started on the manager. She was so good with what she did that I may have tried to steal her for my own business. Needless to say I had a heavenly experience with the beautiful place. If you have an issue with this place then you need to check yourself before you wreck yourself.

I tried doing this on yelp not sure if it went through. I had a job this morning and needed tools out of my unit, I couldnt get the lock off unit. I stopped Missy as she was going into building she grabbed a can of wonder spray, sprayed the lock and the sliding mechanism on the lock worked like magic. I feel bad that she got soaked but she did it with a smile and told me to have a good day. Thanks Missy

They never answer their phone and they over charge me all the time. Even one month after I paid my bill they waited 5 days after I paid and then they charged me again and said if I didnt pay they was gonna keep all my stuff. So I am very disappointed in this property and if I could give it a negative number I would.

Just want to say how great the service was there. Really clean, promp service. Usually when I go store my material for my job I have problems with that and I never know the right size! Luckily for me a sweet young lady named Stephanie help me. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Just move to town from Florida into a small apartment and needed extra space. The climate control units are very clean and Stephany was very kind and helpful on move-in. Highly recommend this place.
