Roto Rooter, and in particular A.J. Karder, saved my day. I had another company (Charlies Drain Service) out yesterday and the expandable cap they had me purchase, since they broke mine, fell into the drain that they had just snaked to clear a clog. As I understand it now, they never should have left without replacing the cap for safety reasons. Charlies Drain Service had me go to the store to buy the one they recommended - never said it was urgent- and the darned cap they had me buy was too small - thats why it fell in. Then they returned the next day after telling me it was my fault; they were really rude. They couldnt get it out. They even dropped a knife in the drain. They then informed me to get someone to come into to open up the concrete floor and get it out of the pipes. A.J. put the camera in and couldnt see the cap. So he had me flush toilets, which they too should have done. And voila, he was able to get the cap. A.J. was very understanding of my situation and was very kind. I felt confident in his work and will definitely use Roto Rooter again.

The plumber that came to my home was from the Stow office, I believe. He was very polite, and appeared knowledgeable, but I was not happy about how much we payed, for the service we received. Dont get me wrong, I dont want to begrudge anyone from making a decent living, but $360 to snake one bathtub drain, and attempt to snake another one in the garage?!! We discovered a broken pipe with only 10 ft of snake under my driveway, so I really should not have even been charged for the few minutes this took to discover, and we couldnt resolve the situation because of this. Come on, my grandfather was a master plumber for 50 years, and even he would have balked at this! I have a Masters Degree in music (6 long years in college!), and I earn maybe $150 to $300 to work a full 8 hours, and I use thousands of dollars of expensive keyboard equipment when I perform! Whats wrong with this picture? Next time, I will snake the drains myself. ...., its really not that hard, but as a pianist, I have to be careful with my hands. Gerald Braden / Akron, Ohio

I was very pleased when I called the RotoRooter Plumber in Stow to come to the house on a Saturday morning and the serviceman arrived within the hour. He did his thing with the backed up drain and everything was back to normal in our home in no time. Unfortunately for me the drain backed up again within a week. I called RotoRooter again, and once again they were at the house very quickly. After much discussion with a second serviceman, it was determined that we needed to have the old cast iron drainage tile under the home replaced. Plans were made for a team to come to the home within the next few days. The job was promised to be done in a day. Work started around 10am and was not finished until after 11pm - but the job was done in a day. The team that was here were tireless workers. They were very polite even though you could tell they were tired. The basement was a mess while they were working, but they cleaned the area up when the job was done. I would call them again for any plumbing work that has to be done.

Well, I had about as good of an experience as a person with sewage in his basement can have! Brian, my technician, was polite, punctual, articulate and informed! He answered all of my questions and understood my reservations about how we needed to proceed. In the end, it was taken care of professionally and efficiently. I was educated as to what caused the problem (That camera that can go out the sewer line was pretty cool!) and given some reasonable recommendations on follow up service. Once again, very happy with the service and honesty provided -- and all provided at a very reasonable cost. Its always difficult finding service providers you can trust to provide a quality service at a reasonable price, and were very happy to call upon Roto-Rooter -- especially the particular service professional (whose name escapes me at the moment) -- whos been out each time. Theyve earned our trust for plumbing needs. We had a brand-new hot water tank installed and the price and service provided easily surpassed what any of the big box stores could provide.

RIP OFF !. This Technician was trying to charge me $1800 for new hot water tank and its controller saying its not working when it only needed the reset. If i did not look at the Manual and figured it out i would have had to pay him $1800 for the water tank and its controller. Such a RIP OFF ! I would never ever call them again ! This people do nothing but trying to rip off People.

With two drains blocked we were really in a bind. I called late in the evening and your man was at our house first thing in the morning. He was quick and neat explaining everything that needed to be done. The work was done long before I expected and everything was clean and back in place. we are very pleased with your work and will be calling in the future when problems occur.

AJ came and did a wonderful job. Our sewer lines were clogged and he snaked it plus told us what we might need to do in the future. He also warned us about a pipe that was disconnected in our house which could be dangerous and advised us to get it fixed ASAP. He was genuinely caring about the safety of our family. I want to thank Rob from the stow office for replacing our water heater. After a long week of getting the run around from another plumbing service and HSA they came out an hour after I called them and were done in less than 2 hours. Thanks for the speedy turn around. It is very nice to take a hot shower in my own house for the first time in almost a week.
