I am not happy with their accounts/billing department. I say this because I received a bill on 11/13/14 for a service that had no amount indicated on the work ticket. I offered to pay the second tech who came out and he said NO CHARGE since I was inconvenienced twice. The first time they came out on 10/1/14, the service techs admitted they knew nothing about this water heater. They tried to call Gianni, their supervisor, who also knows nothing about tech support. Hes an estimator. Therefore, no charge. The problem was not solved, water still leaking. The second tech seemed to know more about the Hybrid water heater and actually solved it. He had to call GE who manufactures the water heater since no one in this company knows how to service it. Very sad, charge almost $2000 for purchase and install and then deceive the customer about servicing it. GE doesnt offer service agreements on the product either. Billing accused me of sitting on the bill for over 30 days since it was dated 10/1/14 like the first work ticket. She insisted it was my "second" notice for payment due. Dont know where she gets her information, but she was wrong. Received the bill in the mail 11/13/14, called that day about it and didnt receive the answer until 11/17/14. That angered me. The notes on my account are not accurate and the dates of their invoice do not indicate when the invoice is mailed out. Their customer service in billing is to be desired. Keep in mind, this company will charge you labor fees EVEN IF THEY DONT FIX YOUR PROBLEM. If the labor isnt under warranty anymore and the problem is not fixed, you still have to pay them. BBB needs to know about this. NOTE: Since this review, David Gray Plumbing accounts/billing department did send me a refund for the first visit since the problem wasnt fixed. Im glad it was resolved and that the gentleman who came for the second visit was paid for his services. He was the one who resolved the problem.

I tried to contact David Gray Plumbing for a clogged clean-out pipe, I was not ever able to get them to the house and the customer service was awful. The appointment was scheduled and I received my call that the technician was on his way. Shortly afterwards I was informed that the tech was involved in a minor fender bender and while he was trying to hurry was not sure if he would make it in time. The rep on the phone informed me that if the original tech was not able to make it another one would be sent. Over an hour later I tried to call to figure out an ETA and was informed by the answering service (because the office had closed by this point) that they would try an find me a tech. When he called me 20 minutes later I was informed that he had just received the order and would be over an hour getting there due to his location. Because of prior engagements I asked him to not come and advised him that I would call the next day to reschedule my appointment. In calling the next day I spoke with Kelly, who was incredibly rude, cutting me off before telling me that a tech would be over "at some point during the day" and would call ahead of time. When the tech did call I missed the phone call (as I could not just sit all day waiting and I had been advised previously that I would get a 30 minute warning) and he left a nasty voicemail telling me he didnt have time to wait and just reschedule the appointment. No thank you... All-in-all, not a good experience and I did not even get a chance to see what they did at my house! I will be using a different company for this problem and any of my future needs.

I had $915.50 of plumbing work done for a client. It was fixing a sink stopper, flapper in the toilet, leaking shower head and a spinning shower handle and replacing a faucet. I was taking care of this for a client. I received the invoice from the company. I then verified with the company to confirm the amount of the bill was for all the work that was done. They confirm the $915.50 was for all the work was done. This was promptly paid for. 4 months later I am contacted by their billing department that additional work was done at the unit for $102.00. I asked the company to send me the invoice since I have never seen an invoice for any other work and they had stated that the previous invoice has covered everything. I reviewed the invoice and it shows that the work was done 6 days later than the original work. I called back the company and told them that work was never done at this unit. No access was granted for the plumber to even come back to the unit 6 days later. And since it is a condo complex with 141 units it might of been at a different unit they did the work for. They said they would check with the service manager and get back to me. I never heard back from them so I assumed it was taken care of. 2 months later I have a notice from their collection agent for this work that was never done. Very poor communication and management on their part. I am waiting to talk to their billing department again to see why I am still be charged for work that was not done on this unit. I would suggest anyone to avoid the hassles and mis-billing of this company.

Plumber needed: The shower handle in the hall bathroom broke off completely, water was spraying out of the handle. Fortunately, my neighbor was able to come over and and turn the shower valve off. Now I need to replace the shower valve and handle. Remembering the commercials about David Gray plumbing, I decided to call and schedule the repair. The technician showed up on time but was a bit abrupt and rude when I answered the door. He seemed to get further irritated when he realized he was going to have to change out the valve. He told me to clean the closet , so he can cut a hole in wall and get to the valve. Still no problem, even though his attitude was somewhat condescending. The plumber then explained that the job was going to take at least 2.5 hours and cost me close to $400. Furthermore, dispatch was telling him that they were fully booked for the day and he didnt think that they would allocate him the hours to get the job done. I thought the price was a bit high but I still needed the work done. It was obvious to me that he really didnt want to do the job. I told him to go check with his dispatcher and I would reschedule if needed. He returned 10 minutes later telling me that he would leave me with an open ticket and I could reschedule for the next day. The more I thought about my interaction with David Gray plumbing, the more it bothered me. I described the events to my wife, she agreed with my level of irritation and called and canceled the appointment. I would recommend dont waste your time calling David Gray plumbing. Plummer Still needed.

Irma...created an issue with some electrical. It was a very simple fix, but required a permit and an electrician. $500 later, work was done on September 13th and still no power because this company did not do what they were supposed to. Continued calls to them, they blamed the city of Jacksonville and JEA for the lack of power. The truth of the matter is that while they did the work on the 13th, and the electrician called the company and told them they needed to contact JEA to turn the power on, DAVID GRAY didnt even pull the permit until the 15th!!!! No wonder JEA wouldnt, couldnt turn the power on. I had to look up the permit number myself, call JEA and give it to them. I was told by JEA that the electrical company should have done this and that they needed to be there when JEA turns on the power. I plead our case with the wonderful lady at the other end from JEA and she was going to try to do whatever she could. Still, no power though. THE IS ALL THE FAULT OF DAVID GRAYS LACK OF DOING WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO. BUT I GUESS ALL THAT MATTERS TO THEM IS, THEY GOT PAID PROMPYLY FOR THE WORK. I BELIEVE WE WERE ALSO PRICE GOUGED BECAUSE OF THE STORM!!! They spent a hour fixing the problem, but charged $290 in labor, which they quoted as $30 an hour; and $190 for some piece of equipment that probably cost $50! And still no power. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
