Pros: They are open 6 days each week. Cons: Incompetent Rude Clueless Irresponsible Did I say incompetent? Our mailbox for our particular condos broke approximately 1 month ago. They removed the box and left no notice of what to do about mail. Instead, each person had to find out on their own that if they wanted mail, they had to pick it up from the post office each day. On occasion when I went to pick it up, it wasnt there. Instead the mailman had taken it with him for some strange reason. That meant I couldnt get mail until the next day. If you have packages that need to be delivered, they mark them delivered at 9am when theyve been left at the post office. This wouldnt be a big deal, except part of my business requires that I look over products and write a review within 24 hours of delivery. So when they mark it delivered and it hasnt been, it creates a problem for me. Today was the final straw. I received a notice that my product was delivered. Apparently at the post office since I still have no box (sorry, they replaced the box, but weve been waiting for keys for a week). When I finally got the chance to drive over, they informed me that the mail carrier (substitute) took all the mail for some reason, and even though the package was scanned as delivered, it really wasnt. Well thats just dumb. So I figured the mail carrier would drop it to my house. Nope. She drove up and drove off. Which means I wont get this review out within 24 hours and I wont get paid. No one has answers and they all put it on someone else. I called again today and they said we should have keys to our boxes tomorrow. Same thing I was told last week.

Past Time
I had to call the Post Office today 5/12/17 10:13am because my mail was destroyed. Left out in the pouring down rain yesterday on my side deck in a chair with a rubber band around it. I spoke with the supervisor. I asked her to spell her name and she repeated it she refused to spell it. Chanell(?) she was major attitude and rude! She does not deserve a star. I said I would report her/Stow Post Office to United States Postal Service Office Of Inspector General. Go to web site. This is not for employee rudeness complaints! But it is for MAIL complaints! The deliberate destruction of mail is a Federal offense! My everyday mail person is very good. He delivers the mail to the correct addresses and our boxes are out of order. He brings the boxes to the front door and puts them at the door so you see them and with me he know that I am disabled so if my door is open he will set my package inside for me. I give him 5 stars every day of the week and 7 on rainy and snowy days!!! But the SUB is a disgrace. It isnt even laziness or stupidity it is just sheer meanness of heart and the knowledge that she/he will not be fired. They mix the delivery packages up from neighbor to neighbor leaving them on the wrong porch, leaves the mail in the wrong mail box, and put my mail on the side porch chair unprotected in the rain to get ruined! Called supervisor over ruined mail and meds.

Extremely rude. I have the utmost respect for the postal service, but this branch is giving them a bad name. The automatic postal center didnt print me the postage I bought for the night prior. I thought it would be extremely simply to simply print what I had already bought. I arrived right at 5. I realize that isnt ideal, but it was the best I could do since I work during the day. The clerk gourmet was extremely rude. I really needed the package to go out that day however (remember I tried the other night). I told her we could deal with the refund later and Id just buy a new stamp. I already knew how much postage Id need so I didnt think any of this would be a problem. The clerk continued to berate me. She spent more time berating me than if she would have just quickly helped me. No exaggeration, after a 15 minute lecture, I went to ups. I never did get my refund either. I tried talking with the manager for the refund with no help. Plain and simply, they simply didnt care. They spent more time trying to be rude than simply helping.

If I could give this post office zero stars I would. I had $350 baby announcements (30 of them, very high quality and expensive) mailed through this post office. They cost 91 cents each to mail. I was told they would be hand cancelled since they had ribbon on them and when my friends and family received them they had been shoved through the machine and torn and inked up beyond recognition. All the hard work I put into these was for nothing. What complete idiot would shove expensive ribboned mail through a machine?? What did I pay 91 cents each for??? They are completely incompetent and should close their doors. I will NEVER use USPS again.

I dont even live in Ohio and I am reviewing this post office because of how horrible it is. There are probably about hundreds of us who are subscribed to a subscription service and have had our packages stuck at this post office for over a week with no updates. Some peoples packages have been here for 2 weeks. What is the holdup? No post office or delivery service has ever taken this long. With all the negative reviews of this post office hopefully nobody will ever have mail transferred through it again.

Unprofessional, negligent and rude staff. Charles (branch manager) sets the example to his staff. I contacted the corporate office to share my issues and concerns about this branchs attitude and they too were incompetent at addressing simple requests and answering questions. Incompetent or indifferent enough to not follow up with me on a so call investigation they were performing. USPS doesnt care about its customers, other shipping agencies like FEDEX or UPS do. Try to avoid them if you can.

I had a situation where my package got rerouted (it was my fault, long story), and I called the USPS in Stow to inquire about it. Ive spoken to a very nice, professional employee named Chanel on two separate occasions. She remembered me and our first conversation when I called back almost a week later about another package being rerouted. I typically dont give reviews, but I was so impressed with her that I had to give a shout out to her! Thank you, Chanel, for helping me out!

This post office in Stow is particularly horrible. They have lost our mail numerous times, weve had packages returned to sender because we moved and left no forwarding address, when we clearly have not. I do not trust them to deliver my packages or mail and I really wish there was an alternative. Not to mention if you ever have to go in and deal with anyone who works there, they are so rude and inconsiderate. I wish I could give them 0 stars.

The stow post office has to be one of the most behind in the times location. The short old man who works there is always a grouch and super slow, I often wonder if he faked his civil servant test as I would think no one as incompetent as he could get a government job.You are better off driving to the next town over and using their location, save yourself the headache and frustration these disgruntled government employees will bring you.
