I went to CBA to determine the condition of the head gasket on my conversion van. Initially, I spoke with the shop manager, Steve, regarding gasket leaks. Now, my vehicle has a leak at the intake manifold gasket but I was concerned that the van might also have a head gasket leak as it uses a lot of antifreeze and puts out a bit of white smoke from the exhaust. I mentioned the reason for my visit was to ascertain if the van had a head gasket leak as there’s no reason to repair a manifold gasket if the head gasket is bad. We had a lengthy discussion of the issue and Steve said they would give it an engine compression test and away I went. The next day I was called and told there was a gasket leak. I went into the shop and was shown the leak at the intake manifold. “I already knew that”, was my reply. “I brought it in to be tested for a head gasket leak.” The technician on my vehicle, Doug, said that was the first he heard about this. Even though I had a specific conversation with the manager and the details were written in the notes an engine compression test was not performed, only one for the cooling system. Once I explained the issues I was having with the vehicle, Doug said “Yep, you’ve probably got a head gasket leak.” If you’re like me, “probably” isn’t why you bring a vehicle in for testing, especially with just a verbal description of the problem. I paid money for a definitive answer and what I got was a confirmation of what I already knew and not what I brought the vehicle in to be tested for. I feel the tech did his job correctly based on the info given to him sadly, the entire scope of my visit wasn’t relayed to him. CBA has quite a few good reviews which is the reason I brought my vehicle there. However, I feel the management either dropped the ball or else I got the old bait-n-switch on this visit. Also, I would have expected that if one brings in their car for testing then a written report with problem areas highlighted on an auto diagram should be part of the deliverables to the client. While the atmosphere and presentation at CBA is professional I found the actual execution of services, that which is the most critical in this line of business, to be lacking. On the end CBA they have my time, $80+ and I’m left with no more of a clear answer as to the condition of my vehicle than when I started.

This place is awesome. I went to another place to get my car fixed and they said that I needed this and that to fix my car and that it would cost between 1,200 and 1,300 dollars. I came to Christian Brothers and they looked at my car and they said I needed totally different things to fix my car, and that the price would be only 473 dollars. I also have spark plugs that have over 160,000 miles on them. They ask me how many miles I had on my spark plug because they would be right there and that there would be no additional cost for labor, just the cost for spark plugs, again saving me loads of labor cost. They give a military discount. I recommend them to everyone. One other thing about Christian Brothers. The waiting room is the best I have ever seen. There give you free water bottles or coffee and other drinks. If you sit for more than 30 minutes waiting on your car, you may fall asleep on there couches. I am coming back again when I need to have my car fixed.

These guys are great! As a former mechanic myself, I got straight answers and an upfront estimate that was right on the money. Although I knew what it was going to take to fix my vehicle, I did not have the time to do this big of a job (timing belt and extras). I was a little concerned at first because I knew what was involved and the complexity to get it right. Obviously, Christian Brothers knew it too and did a fantastic job. Theyve gained my trust and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. Theyve got the tools and expertise to get it right the first time. Great job!

It was bad they agreed to installing Ober arm ball joint on the 2008 GMC Denali for $104 then they agreed to also do an alignment for atonal of $169 ,then when they took the old uber control arm off they broke one of those bolts and they charge me $24 to replace that bolt which is wasnt my mistake , any way they charged me $200 . I went back to Christian brothers and told them my Denali rattle on a highway they said I need balancing on the tires. And then my question was how can you do alignment without balancing at least the front tires?? Bad business no more Christian brother

The associates at Christian Brothers were very helpful , courteous and thorough in the diagnosis and repair of my vehicle.. I was told how long it would take to repair my vehicle and they held true to their word. I had no way of getting home after I dropped my vehicle off and was given shuttle service which was much appreciated.. I heard about Christian Brothers from my daughter and, the fast, courteous service she had received . I will recommend Christian Brothers to friends and family for any vehicle services they may need.. Thank you for everything...

My in-laws vehicle broke down as we were traveling to Michigan. This auto shop heard about our story how we were trying to get to our cousins home who had recently passed away to settle his estate and actually put their vehicle in front of some others to help us get on the road and gave them a discount. They were polite and kind to our family and for that we appreciate and recommend them to anyone .

Values and principles are important to running any business. Its one thing to post them on a board somewhere, but another thing to actually demonstrate and follow-through on those same values. Its clear the reason for this business goes beyond a) making a living, or b) providing a quality service. Not that I needed to, but I would pay a little more money to be dealt with the way this company did.

A fantastic shop! My car needed emergency repair early into my 30+ mile drive home from work on a Friday afternoon. 45 minutes before they were due to close, they took a look and provided a quick fix that meant I could get home without a tow. All of the people I met there were friendly and kind. They turned a lousy day into one where I truly counted my blessings.

Fantastic service. Had a new a/c compressor installed today. Shortly after I left the belt snapped (it was defective). The service manager sent his mechanic to me on the side of the road at which point he replaced the belt on site. The service manager also came to me. I was back moving again in about 30 minutes. Unbelievable service. Thanks guys!

The waiting area was very clean and comfortable. I was offered a fresh cup of coffee. The gentleman who wrote my ticket was kind and explained clearly about the oil change and what products were available. It was the best experience I have had at an auto garage. The price was very good and unlike other places I have been, I was treated with respect.
