DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PUT YOUR LIFE AT STAKE. I took my car to this place for a brake light that was on for my 09 MINI cooper. I had called a few weeks before and spoke with the manager "MIKE" who advised I would only need pads for apx $200. a lot less he stated than the BMW dealership who quoted me $600. I dropped it off last week. He said he would call me in an hour or so to let me know if I needed brakes. 3 hours later when I returned to the shop, he just put my car on lift. He advised that the front brake pads were slightly worn and the MINIs require that if you change the pads, you also have to do the rotors and sensor. He said the rear brakes looked good. He kept pressuring me to leave the car with him since it would only be a few more hours. I told him Id bring it back another day when I had more time. Mike insisted that if the issue was time, hed have his employee "Shay" take me home and pick me back up in the am. I consented to the work being done, which was now $512. A lot more than the phone call. Mike called me at 630 pm stating the car was done, but one of the brake lights were still on. I advised him thats why I brought the car in, not to pay $500 and have service light still on. He said "Ill read your manual and call some of my buddies who work on BMWs, Jags, Mercedes, and will call you back". I called 3 other MINI service departments, and all 3 stated that if the car was repaired correctly with the right parts, the light would not still be on. Finally after several phone calls Mike stated "well, Ill blow out the sensors in the am" and leave car in garage over night and call you in the am". Mike called following am, stating he didnt know what else to do, the light wont go off, the only thing he could figure is that "even though the rear brakes look good, I can change them too, and when I disconnected the rear sensor the light went off". I advised Mike that didnt make any sense, that I didnt bring the car there to pay $500 and still have a light on. After Mike being confrontation and unprofessional on the call, yelling, calling me names, I didnt feel comfortable with this business transaction any longer; therefore I advised him that I wanted him to put my parts back on the car and Id be there to pick it up. He stated he "threw my parts in the trash". I told him he couldnt keep my car as collateral for the work and that I dont want his parts on my car, and I will bring the police if necessary to get my car. He stated he will see if he can find the parts sometime today. I told him Id be there by 2pm. to get my car. Mike called back 45 minutes later stating, "come get your car". When I arrived to get my car, Mike walked outside, threw my keys at me and walked off. I began driving to the dealership when I left. Not 3 miles down the road, my brakes wouldnt stop. I had to use the emergency lane to prevent hitting another car. I tried to pump the gas and the brakes and neither would work. I heard this loud screeching sound. When I rolled down the window It sounded as though my car parts were about to come off. I called Mike from the car, he stated "Ms. Poole I put your car back together good enough". I was unable to stop at the red-light, as the braking system failed. I had to use my emergency parking brake when I got to BMW. BMW advisors and mechanics advised me that the cables were hanging down on the ground. After my vehicle was repaired properly and brakes were changed out, I was advised my several employees, and my paperwork reflects that Midas " FRONT BRAKE PADS WERE PUT ON BACKWARDS, THE FRONT SENSOR WAS NOT CONNECTED CORRECTLY, AND THE REAR SENSOR WAS NOT CONNECTED". I contacted the police; I was advised to seek civil liability. I called 15 different phone numbers at MIDAS, all were not helpful, refused to give me the store owner information; however I found it on my own. Company out of Toledo Ohio owns it. This store not only does poor work, unprofessional, they tried to cause bodily harm and harm to my property.

What a fantastic place. It is definitely a hidden gem located behind the McDonalds off of Hwy 85 right in the center of Fayetteville. The whole staff is very professional and everyone seems to be an expert mechanic even the store manager I believe his name is Stuart he is one heck of a fella whats an encyclopedia of knowledge in vehicles rumbling around inside his head he as well as the guys that work on my vehicle always take care of me get me in and out in a reasonable amount of time depending on the repairs I need theres something runs long they jump to offer me a ride home. I give this place five star because in my seemingly long life and the decades that Ive been driving Ive been to many shops in several States and this one has them all blown away. I will not go anywhere else and I recommend that you dont either. Midas can handle all your needs there. They have done my emissions Diagnostics oil changes tires and alignment and they even replaced the transmission on my granddaughters car for a price remarkably lower than I was willing to pay to have it replaced.

I am a bit overdue for an oil change. I found this token of appreciation from The Red Cross in my wallet...A $9.99 oil change. I had forgotten about it & accidentally allowed it to expire in 2016. The Fayetteville, GA location is printed on the back, along with other participating Atlanta Midas locations. I called the Fayetteville, GA Midas & spoke with a very polite employee, who politely informed me, they would not honor the expired card. I asked whether that policy was ironclad or at the discretion of the management, to which I was told again, politely, they would not accept the expired coupon. Before concluding the conversation, I informed the very polite employee, I would go elsewhere for my oil change, since pricing would be similar. Being a former District Manager in a service industry, Im puzzled why a company or its representatives would choose to lose a new customers business (hundreds of $$ today & into the future) rather than thinking outside of the box & exceeding that potential customers expectations. #smh

These guys will make your vehicle run worst as it did before you brought it in to them for repairs. They arent knowledgeable at all about expensive work like engine oil leaks as my case was. Everyone knows that if you take off old parts to replace with new, how do you not change the one old when it was said in the beginning it would be changed as well.. I got 2 separate quotes for the same job and the prices were basically the same. I went to Midas because my normal mechanic is in Lilburn and I live closer to Fayetteville. I trusted these clowns with my vehicle to get on the road to Chicago ONLY to get there and the car cut off. I DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR NOTHING PERTAINING TO BIG JOBS like I did and spent almost 2500.00 and still was stranded in another city and state as the manager kept stating "I dont know whats wrong with your vehicle" The store manangers, all of them said this to me... WoW!
