My daughter rented a trailer from U-Haul. She was going to pick it up in Norman. Tow it to Dallas, then turn around and drive it back in one day. They decided to pick up the trailer in Dallas, thinking it would save money going one way. She called and said it would be no problem and that it should be the same price. NOT !! They didnt tell her until she was back that the price almost was doubled. Called corporate and they said they would take care of the problem. NOT !! Told her if she didnt get it back by 5:00 she would pay another day and she still had to pay the doubled price. They knew what she was fixing to do by going the one-way route and they still scammed her. U-Haul is just a big MAFIA scam artist company. What a shame they are even allowed to stay open.

We used the storage facility. If you ever use storage, GET INSURANCE. Luckily, we did and when high winds ripped off their roof and flooded our unit, we were compensated. We moved our stuff to a different unit until our house remodel was done. When we came back to retrieve our stuff, the metal roof had leaked and caused huge rust spots all over our stuff. In addition, we had to walk over dead crickets, cockroaches, and through spiderwebs to get our boxes out. I would never trust my stuff to their storage facility again. I was so disgusted by the number of dead bugs in our unit, that I am finding it hard to bring the boxes we had in there back into our house.

I rented a truck from them last week. I was quoted a price after I explained exactly what I was going to do with it. I was told to return it to the same facility before 7pm. I returned it at 5 and then they realized that they had quoted me for a one-way rental and that since I returned it to the same store they would charge me $10 extra. Then they also charged me a rate per mile that was twice as much as was quoted. Well, I wasnt happy and they didnt seem like they cared. I was exhausted and didnt put up much of a fight, swiped my card and left. Ive had way way better experiences with other companies. Would not go here again!

Not for the Uhaul, but specifically the guy who helped us out this morning. He was left alone when theyre supposed to have 3 employees with a manager on duty. Im Not going to lie, we ran into issues, but even being the only guy there, Jimmy (I think?), Remained professional, helped in the 2 other people who were there too, and got us taken care of to the best of his ability. We did have to go elsewhere for a wire issue (on our vehicle, not theirs) because, as i said, they were severely understaffed. he got paper work filled out and explained everything going on with the trailer we rented.

We rented a car hauler in Arkansas and we specified the norman location as the drop off. Afterwards we decided that we needed to drop the jeep off in northwest OKC so we asked if it would be okay. The sales rep informed us that there could be a fee so we said thank you and hung up. Afterwards u-haul called us to let us know they were going to change our drop off point for us and asked where we would be. They did this without us asking them to. I found this to be very helpful and surprising that they decided to help us out. Thank you u-haul! 5+ stars for customer service!

$19.95 use in town small uhaul truck turned into $67 truck for 4 hours. only went 27 miles and was allowed 10 miles. big rip off in town truck. USAA said they would cover rental truck, but UHAUL guy said they would not and low ball pressure us into getting the extra insurance. I would have liked the customer service guy walk with me around the truck and notate the body damage that was already on the truck. I did not want to be responsible for damage before. But no one came out and we were on a time crunch. i need my own truck ;(

I wouldnt call it "disliking" this place but mainly the people here are indifferent to their customers, dont smile, and their service is at the level of what must be done to meet minimal satisfaction. Their prices are a little high, in my opinion, and they certainly dont seem to care about anything other then you brining their vehicle back on time with a full tank of gas. Its just my personal experience, but Ive used this place several times over the years and never been too impressed.

It is a recurring theme here, HORRIBLE customer service. Probably one of the least friendly and rude people on the phone I have ever spoken too. If I didnt absolutely HAVE to have the trailer, there is no way in heck I rent from these people. If you are in a service business, you shouldnt have people that hate their lives so badly dealing with your customers. If you have ANY other alternative, USE IT!

HORRIBLE customer service! Everyone from Crystal, the general manager to the girl who "helped" us hook up the trailer. Extremely rude and unhelpful. No apologies for inconveniencing me or finding a resolution to fix their mistake. Had to call the 1-800 number to finally get some help. Would never recommend this place even if it was the only option.

Do NOT bring your business here. They told me I could rent a uhaul on the phone, I said Id come in the next day to complete the reservation. Came in today, and they wont reserve it for me. It also took over 20 minutes of waiting in the lobby for someone to be behind the counter. Absolutely awful business.

Experience was a disaster! The person who checked the truck checked it in late and got the equipment returns wrong resulting in a huge surcharge. The general manager said she refunded me the extra charges but instead showed up on my credit card as another charge. Very unsatisfied and would not recommend.

Like everybody else said, the customer service here is atrocious. I couldnt be more unimpressed with their efforts, and with the entire Uhaul brand as a whole. Trust me, if youre already dealing with the stress of moving, working with this franchise is the last thing you will want to do.

I reserved a 17 foot truck and an appliance dolly, I got a 15 ft truck and no dolly. I estimated 50 miles to be on the safe side and was entered in for 30, so I had to pay for over mileage. And they didnt even apologize for the misunderstanding.
