This location, I feel, takes advantage of people who dont know anything about cars. I took my sons vehicle in due to the a/c not blowing out of the vents. The repair man said it needed a new blower motor and a new wheel hub. I consented to both repairs. When I left the shop the air was still not coming out of the vents and the wheel was making a terrible noise. I made a U turn and went right back. They looked at both issues again and fixed the squeaky wheel noise. The a/c blowing issue, they didnt know. They acted like it was working better but it clearly was not. They offered me a refund on the labor and I took it. Time went by (had to save up more money) and I took my sons car to another mechanic and he told me that the WRONG blower motor was installed in the vehicle and that was why the air was still not coming through the vents. The new mechanic ordered the right blower motor, installed it, and it worked beautifully. I wrote a letter to the owner of Meineke and he reimbursed me for the motor but stated that the RIGHT blower motor was installed and that we were making it up. That was rediculous. I think the new owner is new to business and is out to make a quick buck from anyone who doesnt know much about cars, which is me. Im a single mom doing the best I can saving my money to help my teenage son with his car. I would NEVER do business with this establishment again, nor would I recommend any of my friends, family or strangers. The one word that sums up this repair shop is UNSCRUPULOUS!

I keep coming back here and havent been disappointed yet. It started last year, my brakes were making a terrible sound and pulled in to get them looked at. Mike was the guy that helped me and was very honest when he went over all the repairs needed. It turned out I needed brake pads and calipers and that my struts were going out. I asked him if it would be safe to wait on the struts, and if he had been less honest he could have convinced me that I needed the work done immediately. Instead of taking advantage of my lack of knowledge, he told me they could wait, risking me going somewhere else to get them done later. Well I remembered his honesty and now 7 months later I came in to get the struts worked on amd because my brakes were squeaking. Mike was here again and remembered my situation. When I tasked him to look at the brakes, he could have told me to get them replaced but he was honest and let me know they were at about 40% and should be good for at least a few months and the squeaking was from some brake dust in the drum, which he cleaned out. All the guys in the shop were working the entire time I was there, I never saw anyone sitting around or wasting time like Ive seen at other shops. I cant state enough how excellent the service has been and I know I will be coming here for as long as Mike is here. If you want to be treated fairly and have an honest mechanic who doesnt see you as an opportunity for a pay check, come see Mike at the 51st and Memorial Meineke. You wont be disappointed.

This star rating is temporary, depending on how Mieneke resolves this issue. I recently purchased a used car. I took it there for a inspection. It passed with flying colors. A few days later I bring the car in for an alignment. They tell me that the front left inner and outer Tie rod broke during the alignment attempt. They told me it would cost $450 to repair. The parts cost 150, $200 at most. and would not take 1 hour to fix. (i saw it an it look like it had been cut) I told them I did not feel we had pay for it since it broke while they were fixing alignment. They stuck to their guns. Fortunaltey for us, one of our pastors is one of the most powerful lawyers in Tulsa. He was going to bring down the full force of the law on them. Suddenly they turned around and said they would fix it at no cost. They knew they were wrong. Depending on how they fix it and if they mess up any other systems is going to deermine my final review. If they fix my car and it checks out OK after I take it somewhere else for inspection then I will give this Mieneke a good rating.

These guys are definitely crooks. The young kid isnt very smart. After a simple brake job, my entire front end was totally out of line. (sabotage for later repairs???) Anyway, I got that dealt with at another shop. I had asked them to add a half a can of freon, as I just had new freon put in, but was kept low intentionally. When I went to pick up car, The little thug at the counter had his crew, without a service order, evaporate all freon, and recharge system(so he says they did) and charged me 140 bucks for just that. I am financially able, and paid because I dont have time to squabble over petty stuff. However, some people simply cannot afford for these idiots to take advantage of them. In all fairness, one of their mechanics seemed to be very decenty and legitimate, however, they take orders from the counter, and thats where youll get screwed. Avoid these slimy serpents of Satan!!!

The only positive was that the guy up front was friendly. Otherwise, it was a rather unpleasant experience. I mentioned three specific things I wanted to have checked out, and only one was fixed. Then I was given a list of a bunch of other things that needed to be repaired on my car, to the tune of over $600. A couple of them sounded off to me, so I took my car and the list to a different mechanic. He told me none of it was necessary. He even showed me my fan belt--which was on the list as needing to be replaced--and I could see for myself that it looked just fine. I might have been able to overlook this; however this is the second time that they gave me a lengthy list of things that my car needed to have fixed. The first list was almost $1000. It feels a lot like they were trying to take advantage of my limited car experience just to inflate their sales.

Like the other reviewers say, they dont want to honor the coupons that have their name on them. The operator, Anthony, is incredibly rude and aggressive. Our car was already in the shop being worked on when he arrived and told us that he was only taking one coupon a day and someone had already claimed one that day. We were the first people there. So he tried to charge us. We fought and he relented, but he managed to pull it on the guy that came in after us. Then he proceeded to sit at the desk and listen to Internet videos loudly, and call other people and complain about all the people trying to use the coupons. We also sat for over two hours when they told us 45 minutes to an hour.
