Last Friday I left my truck with them to get my fuel pump replaced. Later in the day they called me telling me that additionally I needed my oil changed, oil cooler lines replaced (They were leaking they said), and my transmission fluid flushed and changed as there was NO fluid in it at all. I immediately questioned the last one in that I had had this done less than a year back, and had checked the fluid level recently and there were no stains in the driveway. It was at this point that Josh said "Well maybe they hit an air pocket when they checked that Ill have them look again". Ive never heard of a transmission fluid air pocket but as I NEEDED my car back so I could get to work the next day and he doesnt seem to be letting go of this until I agree to something else I tell them to change the oil and leave it at that. So I get the truck back and the following day its showing signs of the fuel system not staying pressurized, specifically that I needed to turn the key to on and leave it for 30 seconds or so before I cranked the starter, at which point everything worked flawlessly. This is generally a sign of the fuel system not holding its pressure and by turning the ignition to the on position for a bit allows the fuel pump to re-pressurize the system prior to cranking the starter, so I bring it back four days later. Again I get a call from Josh, apparently he comes in later in the day, and he tells me my ignition switch needs to be replaced as they are not getting any electricity out of one of the lines. When I explain why I brought the car back in and the symptoms it seems this is the first he has heard of that but is positive that this had to be the problem because I need a new ignition switch. When I ask how a faulty ignition switch would have caused the fuel line symptoms he hasnt any idea but is adamant I need a new ignition switch to the tune of $500+. When I questioned this further he offered to close it all back up and let me have the truck back after I paid for the $100+ diagnostic and made it clear that it would be non-running as it had a faulty ignition switch. So even though it was running just fine when I brought it in, excepting the starting issue which had every symptom of the fuel line not staying pressurized as opposed to any ignition issue, Im stuck. Its the day before Thanksgiving and Im either going to fork over another $500+ or go get the keys to a vehicle that isnt even running at all now with most any place that I could get it hauled to closed for the next four days. Last night, Thursday thanksgiving evening, I go to use the truck for the first time where I need my lights on. No lights anywhere inside the cab, later they do come on intermittently, which has never happened before their “needed fix” of my ignition switch. I just got off the phone attempting to find a number to call for a corporate office or owner, as it’s no where to be found on their web site. There apparently is no corporate office contact available and all Josh can tell me is they are owned by “Steve” and he has no idea how I can reach him but suggests I call all the other Honest-1 stores in the Portland area until I find him at one of them. So much for Honest-1 Auto Care. Gene Smith

Absolute worst shop. Complete mechanical incompetence and extremely poor customer service. Went in for a simple brake job and AC diagnostics. The highlights of which are brakes worse than when I went in and AC that blows hot air(after going back three times). After the initial tow on my dime, a mis diagnosed sticking caliper(was obviously the problem...which they gave a clean bill of health TWICE) the caliper froze for a second time while towing.(1st trip after the supposed second repair), 2nd round of replacement parts that they claimed were installed(they werent- new rotors/pads), luckily though I incurred a 2nd tow on my dime due to their incompetence. They cleared their work a second time and it produced another failure of the SAME component. This is after I told them to replace the calipers. They refused stating that they were fine for the second time. And to top it off, now the right front bearing is shot after being cooked twice. If you call a smoking front caliper, claiming to replace brake components that they DID NOT, and complete incompetence when it comes to anything mechanical or fixing an AC system then stop on in and listen to the gal at the front desk talk about castrating the parts runner...good times! To top it off, they dont even know how to adjust the rear brakes on a Dodge. Went back to see if anything could be done about my issue and was told yes sir, we will make it right. Well management decided I was looking for handouts and nobody bothered to call me back. So much for their bogus 3yr/36k mile warranty. You would think that an auto repair company would be concerned that your tow rig brakes are suspect to failure due to their incompetence. As if I am trying to get something for free...$1200 spent with this company + 2 tow bills, bearing replacement, 2 new calipers, all new front brake components would say otherwise. I hope people steer clear of this shop..they were Dishonest at every turn. I had hope once I found out that they fired all personell at the Aloha shop. But hey, what can you truly expect from a company that lies about replacing parts. The sooner they go out of business, the safer people will be.

lets start off with Arron, only one who did the job right. I had to take my car in 3 times. The first time was not because my car wasnt working or had issues but because it had a small leak. They told me that I needed to replace my pcv valve and put some blue devil in my car and it should be fine. I paid for that and was told I would be good to go. Then I drove my car. remember before I went I had no issues at all. Just went in for a small leak. As I am driving my car sstarted to over heat and then my heater went completely out. I was stuck in the cold with my car stuck on the side of the road. This was the day after I got the car back. So I took it back in. Turns out the leak was not fixed like I paid for and took the car in to get fixed the first time. They had to replace my heat tube. So I had them repair it, paid, and went on my marry way. Then the very next day started driving my car. Was still over heating at times but my heater was now fixed, the car would randomly shut off as I was driving. Go figure. They said wait to see if it continues then bring it back. It was in the shop 2 days later my cooling system light came on saying it was failing, I had to tow my car to the shop. Then this is when Arron comes in, He took the time to actually have them inspect my car for all issues and look into the work that they did to the car to make sure everything was correct. I ended up replacing my water tube, thermostat, radiator cap, I believe that was it. finally my car is no longer over heating and seems to work great. all said in done I paid for a lot more then I wish I did. Spent way to much time bringing it back to the shop. Also got to pay that large labor bill because they had to take it apart 3 times. I shouldnt have had to bring the car in more then once. Arron made sure to be on top if the service to my car and made sure the issues were offically fixed. The chances of me going back are very small, dont want more issues done to my car. customer service is great just not so much of the actually service.
