I took my car into these guys in November of last year to replace my timing belt and exhaust gaskets. I think their prices are reasonable, but they still practice stereotypical mechanic behavior. I was told that the work they had done on my car had a warranty on the parts and labor. Lately my car has developed what sounds like an exhaust leak. Typically when you hear an exhaust leak it is associated with a bad exhaust gasket. As i mentioned earlier, when i took my car in i was told we will replace your exhaust gaskets and if anything happens you can bring the car in and it is covered under the warranty. I took my car in to them 3 days ago and on the first day i was told the warranty would cover the replacement, 2 days later i called them to follow up with the progress of the work on the car. This time i was told that only the gasket was under warranty and that they were having a hard time finding the part. They suggested that i find the part for them and pay for it LOL! after i was told this I went to go pickup my car faster then jimmy john delivery! Not only did they disregard their warranty, but they insultingly tried to get me to go buy the part for them to install and then charge me additionally for labor. This should have been all covered by THEIR warranty which should really be printed out on their receipt(which it is not) I will make sure to not make the mistake to take my car to this place again. If you really need to take your car to this place make sure you get AL or Ross to sign off on your receipt implying that you DO have a warranty. Get them to write down what their warranty covers specifically! When you flash money theses guys will promise to do extra work ,but they wont do what they say. So please beware of the actions these guys will take if you are unaware. Your better off taking your car to V-tech Auto Repair which is only 5 minutes away from this place, at least they can afford to print out your warranty information. Oh and by the way, i located the part they "couldnt find" in 5 minutes by calling Toyota. As for myself, ill continue to educate myself on how to work on my own car since you really cant trust other peoples to work on your car now a days.

I had a busted engine mount on my Acura. I called around and not only did Asian Auto have the best price, they provided the best experience on the phone. This was the only shop where they answered my call, I told them what was broken, and they agreed to fix it. There was no run around of are you sure or how do you know or were going to need to do a $X inspection first. Ross ordered my part mid day, before I had even seen him or delivered my car. He wanted to be sure it arrived as soon as possible the next day. I was in before my shift at work and I picked up my car when I got off. My experience was nothing short of exceptional. I recently moved here from Colorado and subsequently lost my trusted mechanic. I either did my work or went to him to get the complex stuff done. Here, Id been to no shops and have no friends knowledgeable enough to be trusted with a reference (eg: oh, just go to the dealer, right?). I could not have chosen better. They have all my future mechanical needs. Great service Fast fixing Quality for your money Go see Ross

So lucky to have found Asian/Japanese Auto Repair. New to the area had my car looked at by another mechanic because of engine noise and i was told I needed new engine. I called Asian/Japanese Auto Repair to ask how much an engine would cost for my car. they were able to see my car the same day. and the only thing that was wrong with my car was a belt pulley that was making noise. replaced it for $75.00 and my car runs smooth with no noise. very honest, very friendly, great customer service i have recommended them to all my co workers and friends

Very Very Very honest mechanic went to another shop on the same street they are on. and i was told i needed a new engine because mine was over heating bad and i had damaged my head gasket. went over to Asian auto ( Japanese Auto Service ) and they said all i needed was a thermostat which only was $39.00 i saved my self $2200.00 by only driving on the same street lol. I have already recommend them to all my co works and friends. will only go there from now on. Valriea

Paid $330.00 for them to install brake pads only. They said they put brand new rotors and pads on. Per Les Schwab and my eyes as a witness up on the rack, the rotors are not brand new. Drove back over to Asian auto and they said Les Schwab doesnt know what they are talking about. Apparently I dont either per Asian Auto. How can I get a fair solution and get my moneys worth?

I was convinced it was the front rotors that were destroyed on my housemates Mitsubishi that I dropped off, come to find out the mechanic told me it was the steering rods. He could have told me it was both the rods and the rotors and overcharged me, but he didnt, so I really appreciated this businesss honesty and integrity. I definitely recommend this place!

Great customer service, honest and affordable prices. I even brought in some of my own replacement parts and Al let me know that not all of the parts needed replaced, therefore saving me time and money. They really go above and beyond. The best automotive repair shop around, hands down!
