Odd experience all around, to the point that even though Im sure they didnt fix a thing on my vehicle Im too worried to bring it back in fear they will break something or just charge for nothing. Brought my car in for an o2 sensor, told them the issue. An hour later I get a call telling me its the o2 sensor and that I owe $100 for an hour of work already, to tell me what I already know. Quoted $400 for the part and install, which I found ridiculous. Found the part online for $100 and asked how much to have it installed. They installed it for around $170 including the cost of the first hour of "work". Takes an hour of work to check my check engine light but half that to open it up and install a part? Needless to say the same thing is still wrong with my vehicle, nothing has changed as far as the check engine light code. I assume they just kept the part and reset my engine light as they told me to bring it back when the light came back on... way to sketchy and fly by night to trust with my vehicle which I very desperately need at this point in my life. Thanks for wasting around $300 in total and a week of my time, will be sure to spread bad word about your business as all of these likely fake positive reviews are what lured me in. Trashy shop that totally takes advantage of their customers, not to metion rude and condescending if you do not know everything about your vehicle. If I knew how to repair my vehicle why would I be bringing it to your scummy shop? Thanks a lot.

My Tahoe is old and so with my previous experience in rebuilding the TH350 auto transmissions, I thought Id take on the 4L60E 1995 model. Not worth the outlay to fix, I thought. In addition, its my son in laws car. Well, I found myself in for $400 right off the bat, for a parts washer, an engine stand and various specific tools needed for the trany. I knew I could sell them again to recover some of the outlay. I came on to Glen and Mark halfway into my project. who not only helped me on with advise, but also with minimum charges part built the drum section for me, for a small fee that saved me buying more tools for the job. I can applaud and praise the sincerity of this group, theyre not only friendly, but true professionals in their work, and at half the going price. I only wished I found them before I started my work. They jumped in to rescue me where most would have turned me over. Heres my recommendation. These tranys are no DIY rebuilds. Especially when you can take it to hem at the price you would mess it up yourself. The next trany goes straight into their shop. I recommend them for all your works, you cant go wrong.

I own a transmission shop in Everett Washington and have in business for 41 years. I saw the weird google review attack going on here and felt compelled to intervene. Paul is well known in the transmission world as a master rebuilder and transmission expert. He is also known for his integrity and his commitment to high quality work and his willingness to stand behind it. The transmission shop community is small and word gets around. As everyone knows, there are a lot of people in the auto repair industry who are technically or ethically challenged. Paul is neither. He is respected enough to have made the cover of Gears Magazine, an important drivetrain industry publication. I dont know who tried to bushwhack him from cover but I challenge him to grow a pair and put his name out there. Keep up the great work Paul.

I initially had a bad experience with customer service and absolutely did not want to deal with that company. I later rated this company a 1 star because they performed as a 1 star. Once I rated them they contacted me and redeemed themselves for a 5 star review. But after receiving my transmission back from them and after further inspection of their work I noticed the same poor craftsmanship as the first time they worked on my transmission. The bolts on my side panel go in specific spots due to different lengths of bolts. They knowingly put a bolt in the wrong spot with that bolt obviously not doing anything to secure the panel because the bolt was way too long. Attention to detail is not their strong suit.

I responded to a discounted front brake offer of $59. I had previously received a quote of nearly $700 from another well respected auto repair shop. When I walked into the office I commented that I understood why they promoted the discount... it is not on the main street and a little challenging to find. I received a call 20 minutes after I left to inform me that the rotors needed to be replaced and other work needed to be done at a cost of $180. I approved and came back for my car a couple of hours later. They had done some additional work at no charge. So, I paid $240 versus nearly $700, plus they did even more than requested. The brakes work great and I am very happy to recommend them.

Im not a "review type guy" but when I read what the one and only review this shop had, I felt somebody needs to take a stand. It was obviously written by a local competitor. Paul is my regular mechanic. Ive been his client for years and I have to say the guy is honest and has saved me thousands. Ive seen hime with clients and he treats everybody with respect and Im really impressed by how he explains what hes going to do so that you understand it. I highly recommedn this shop!

I have been a client for over 15 years and have always been treated fairly and received great service. They can fix anything! As a professional in the community it is important to me, to be treated the same way I treat people. I never have any concerns about how they do business. If I was looking for automotive repair, I would not hesitate to give them a call.

We have enjoyed being a customer of Pauls. He is an honest and a down to earth guy. He explains things in laymans terms and doesnt discriminate because you are a woman or not mechanically inclined . He has some of the most competitive prices in town. We have been very satisfied with his work and would gladly recommend him to our friends and family.

I received the best service from Mark the mechanic and Glenn the manager. They explained everything in detail on what my car needed and why. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends and family. Check them out if you need anything done on your car. They helped me get financing and made it as pain free as it can be when your car needs work.
