If you or anyone you know EVER is in need of moving serves CALL "All My Sons Moving Storage"...!!! Here is Why...!!! On Friday afternoon March 15th, 2013, I called the moving co. "All My Sons Moving and Storage for the very first time... My situation was some what unique. My father inlaw J.S., who will be turning 91 years old this month needed moving services. Having come to live in our home 5 years ago, almost to the date, other arrangements needed to be made. J.S. is a World War II Veteran. Serving -w- the Merchant Marines in the North African theater. To name one among many. He also volunteered for 2 tours durring the Korean Crisis. After thriving in our home for the last 5 years, (note: doctors 5 yrs. ago gave him the prognosis of a very short life span. So from that, we were to believed we were doing the best thing for him at his end of time. Since there was no way doctors would allow him to return to his natural home.) J.S. health just recently began to decline quickly. Just a week ago we were forced to take him to V.A. emergency. He was admitted to the V.A. hospital. The doctors & staff who have been attending to him, administered great care. While multiple times saying out loud how much they honor him while being able to care for and serve a rare World War II Vet. patient in the V.A. Hospital. An incredible thing to witness being a civilian. Ill never forget it! After being informed with in days from the V.A. doctors J.S. was physicaly unable to return to our home. His condition is at such a state, we no longer have the ability to care for him in our home... This is where Brandon -w- All My Sons Moving and Storage comes in. When I called that Fri afternoon after just being informed of this shocking development, I had only 1-2 days to move furniture & misc. items to another location. Nothing was available at such short notice! But...Brandon at All My Sons Movingand Storgage had a 3 man team within miles of my address. Brandon said, "I can move you today. (fri), I can have my men there in less than 1 hou." I told Brandon I had to make one phone call. "Ill call you right back" I said. Called Brandon back, said "yes! lets please move in 1 hour." The movers rang our door bell 45 minutes later. Without the help, flexibility, speed, communication of Brandon, the great work of the team of the 3 movers, (Im sorry I cant remember their names) I would have had a real problem on my hands! When I hung up the phone, I told my wife... 3 movers from All My Sons Moving and Storage would be arriving in a matter of an hour. She DID NOT believe me! I had to repeat myself. I said, "Im not kidding. Get dressed they are on the way!!! I think that says it all. If you or anyone you know EVER is in need of moving serves CALL "All My Sons Moving Storage"...!!! MHB

When I moved in to my small studio apartment a year ago, I used All My Sons. They were both fast and courteous. That is why I chose them when I moved again this year. This time, things were different... It started out fine. The three men looked a little sluggish, but I was optimistic. To keep my cats contained and calm during the move, I had them in the bathroom (the only room in my studio with a door). About 5 minutes in to the move, one of the men had to use the restroom. I explained I was trying to keep the bathroom closed because of the cats, and if he could wait until we got to the new apartment. He insisted it was urgent. I got the cats in carriers, and let him in. He was in there for a solid 20 minutes just blowing it up. When he finished, I got my cats back in there and almost calm again. About 10 minutes later, another mover had to poop! I had already cleaned the toilet before they came over, but I ended up having to clean it again because of their poop splatter. By the time we finally left my old apartment, it had already been 2 hours (the entire move last year took an hour and a half). I left at the same time as them, expecting them to take maybe 10 minutes longer to drive.... 40 minutes later they finally show up. They then took the wrong street around the back of my apartment and got stuck as the street was too narrow. I told them to come around the correct way, that the street was fine on the other side. My landlord told me that everyone in my complex has parked the moving truck there, so I knew it would fit. They decided to call their boss who then called me and said its impossible to park so they would have to hold my stuff, with a storage fee, until Monday. I told him they hadnt even tried the correct way yet! Finally, they came around my way and got though just fine. By that time, it had already been another 45 minutes just for parking. Once everything was in my apartment, it was time for payment. They had spent over 4 hours "moving", 3 times as long as my move a year ago, with the same amount of stuff. I wasnt financially prepared for a bill that high. It was $800! All in all, I would not recommend them. They waited until they got to my apartment to poop rather than doing it before they left the office, they were slow, and they didnt trust me about how to get to my apartment.

We had a very poor experience with Joe and All My Sons Moving. We moved a few miles within the same city into a larger home. We booked well in advance and called several times to confirm what we needed moved. In the end, All My Sons did not follow through with what they said they would do. 3 movers arrived with one truck. We had a week or so between getting access to our new house and needing to be out of our old house, so we had already moved a lot of our items. Additionally, we werent taking any appliances. All My Sons had to mostly move the larger furniture. One of the movers was hard working, one was hardly working and one was angry. Despite not having to move very many things, the angry mover was hostile throughout our contact with him when questions were asked or instructions were given. At one point he complained about not having enough room in the truck. Again, we booked them to move an entire house and had already moved most of the house. We noticed that the movers didnt actually move items into the new house once the truck arrived if they werent being watched. They would sit around the truck and sweep it out when they thought we werent watching them. This was a blatant and somewhat notorious attempt to milk the time for a bigger fee. They lost hardware to one of our beds. We discovered that the beds manufacturer was no longer in business, so finding a way to use the bed again took a lot of time. The biggest problem was their refusal to move an item from the downstairs to an upstairs room. We called three separate times to confirm that All My Sons could/would move the item. They confirmed three separate times they could/would. They left the item in our front room, said they didnt have enough men and scratched up the floor moving it around. When we called Joe, the manager, he was unbelievably rude. Shockingly rude. Personal and sexist and harassingly rude. He refused to send more men to move the item. When the corporate office was called, we were assured of a return call from a national manager that could address the issue. No phone call was received. We had to hire another moving company to complete the job weeks later. Please avoid this company. It is clear that they dont care about anything but the fee at both the local and national level.
