I went in looking for a good kids-cut place that was closer than our normal choice in Hillsboro. From the beginning it was awful. The woman who did my toddlers hair apparently disliked me on sight. She was rude rude rude. I tried explaining that I didnt want his hair to look all one length like the cuts using an electric razor with combs can. My kids have hair that just doesnt work with that. Apparently saying that made me a terrible person "I did a razor cut that faded to scissor cut on top" fine, whatever, it still looks all one length to me on my kid. Then I DARED to ask if one of the children pictured on the wall(the one pictured over and over) was her child. "NO! My child is the one here in the news paper clipping. I have a 12 year old and those two." Trying to salvage this thing since shes part way through a cut, I mentioned that it appeared to be a big age difference "Well, of course, since Im only 27!" Yes, well as I can tell your age by reading the circles of your irises, Im clearly just being mean!!! I almost walked out the moment I walked in and several times after that. Completely rude, witchy, and unprofessional. And lets take a second to talk about the atmosphere. It was all clearly hand welded stuff of questionable quality and safety.. it felt more like biker bar than professional business. I will never return and will tell everyone I run into how awfully they treated us!!

I have recently been in here, I go every few months to get.. it is my go to place. The woman there (I am so bad with names) is super friendly!! I am really bad at describing how I want my hair to look so i always bring in a picture to show her and she always NAILS IT! She always asks me if there is any little things she can quickly do like any spots i think dont like quit right, and there never are, but just the fact she wouldnt mind that a "nit pick" is amazing customer service. The place is so affordable so i always tip her and buy their hempz lotion. I have been to other places who have razored my hair so she is trying to get that all cut out for me so my hair is healthy (: I cant say enough good things about this place it is my GO TO also its very easy to get an appointment because she actually answers the phone when I call and a lot of other places dont even!

I went into Head Hunters for the first time based on their location. We just moved to Forest Grove and its very close to my home. I honestly looked at no reviews - I did check the website and felt like they were knowledgeable enough to do a good job. I was also having surgery the day before so I wanted an easy hairstyle as I wasnt sure if Id be up to doing my hair for awhile. It took me about 2 weeks before I could actually do my hair and appreciate my cut. I love it! The owner is the only stylist in the salon currently but she does such a good job and honestly, i feel like, wants her clients to love their hair. She uses Prevana colors (which are amazing) but doesnt charge an arm and a leg to get it done. I like the budget friendly prices. Its my go to salon from here on out!

I went there a few weeks after having my hair cut at Hair Masters in Cornelius, OR. I had orginally wanted a long A-line cut Hairmasters literally butchered my hair using thining shears to try and blend my layers. The manager at H.M. ( not the one who cut my hair was beyond rude!!! ) the girl who cut my hair was very nice but she just does not have the knowledge of hair cutting. I went to head hunters salon in forest grove as a walk in, WOW I am beyond impressed with her skills (owner) she gave me a beyond amazing a-line cut which is wonderful! I deffinately reccomend them to anyone

I will defiantly go back to this Salon! Elaine was great and friendly and knowledgeable. She even rides, how cool is that! You feel like your in your best friends house, getting your hair done. NO snobby hairdressers at this place ( how refreshing). She has the cutest spot for children, to get their haircut, so will defiantly take my grandkids to her. Tables out side to enjoy the weather and socialize. She is 100% customer service orientated. Will defiantly be going back
