I have rented from Public Storage 4 times in the last 20 years, all in the Gresham area at different locations. THERE WILL NOT BE A 5TH. I have given the benefit of the doubt to the business in all previous cases except the last one. First time was fine it was in 1996, no issues. Second time my unit was broken into. Had no major loss and I took responsibility due to the type of lock, my choice. Third time I needed a second unit but was not treated as an existing customer and could not get the special rate that a new customer could have gotten. Fourth time was the last straw. I rented a space and within 24 hours my situation changed and I called to cancel the space (That by the way was a very sought after unit size, 10 X 10. In fact a customer while I was renting walked into the office and was told he would be put on the list for that size unit). I was told I could cancel but only after one month. There was a prorated amount that I could recover, which I finally did receive, 2 months later. The space that I rented was so susceptible to moisture that for a fee I could purchase a device that would take the moisture out of the air. I repeat I will not rent again or recommend Public Storage to anyone. I have been informed by other renters of storage units in the Gresham area that have more impressive amenities, similar pricing, but better customer service. Check around before renting from Public Storage. The above is my opinion.

After a nightmare to say the least, and not thinking a storage unit was in my future without a choice I went online searched found this location, set it up online which was easy to do, came in was very impressed on how well kept the property is clean, orderly, was at as from first sight put as ease , but then i met Teri, who is the property manager at this location. She was friendly, extremely helpful in understanding all the ins and outs, I am very green in the way everything worked etc. She never made me feel stupid, or was short with me. Just kind, friendly, but professional, a very good face for public storage. I feel like my property is safe, well watched over, and for everything in life I currently have on my plate, all I can say thus far she really has been the best, and most uplifting part to date... A piece of mind, a kind word, and a friendly smile really does makes the difference in a persons everyday.. Thank You Teri for the piece of mind!

I was very impressed with a lady named Erin. I went in to buy some boxes for my granddaughter and there was a very rude and obnoxious lady in front of me yelling and ranting and raving about the fee she got for not paying her bill on time. Well with any business you dont pay by the deadline you get a late fee. Erin was very professional and listened patiently and then advised her to sign up for a program they had to automatically pay so she can avoid the fee. Erin didnt seem to get frazzled with the lady and still had a pleasant smile for me when it was my turn after the lady left. she is definitely an asset to Public Storage. And hopefully this doesnt happen all the time. Stacey

Teri was extremely helpful with all information about acquiring a rental unit. She was very fast and efficient with all paperwork and kept checking with us every few days to see if she could make the process smoother for us. As a front desk clerk, she handled an irate customer with upmost respect for the ladys concerns and lots of patience and friendliness. This is a trait hard to find in a lot of customer service counter jobs. Thanks TERI, and your bosses need to know that you are the reason I chose PUBLIC STORAGE over the other business down the street!

I had a family emergency in California and time was limited to find a place for my car. Went on line to find property that would store my automobile they referred me to a Public Storage at Burnside. Once there I explained what I needed to the manager; who explained I could save money if I stored my car at another location. I drove there and met Theresa who was more than helpful. The service was upstanding and very proficient. Theresa was respectful and cheerful another words she was great. I recommend this property without hesitation

I have the pleasure of doing business and using PS to store my excess stuff. What I love most is the customer service, professionalism by manager, Terri, price in time of needs, hospitality, and the location plus its cleanliness of the facility. On top of that, registration on-line is so easy and very convenient and how fast I was able to get it done and at the same time calling to verify receipt of the on-line application is unbelievable. I am a very happy camper. Love it and I will stay as long as I need to.

Theresa was amazing, she was personal, compassionate, and made me laugh, at a very stressful time in my life. Moving is hard, and putting stuff in storage can feel very vulnerable, but Theresa made me feel very secure and happy about who was taking care of where my things would be stored. I enjoyed the process, and look forward to seeing Theresa when I need to come to Public Storage! She is a blessing and thank goodness she is here for people that are needing to store their belongings! Love this lady!

I had a heck of a time finding a duable unit but once i got there with my stuff it was extremely difficult because my stuff wouldnt fit. So Teri was very helpful and luckily there was one unit for reservation that didnt show so i was able to retrieve that one because the appt people didnt show. So then God i was able to retrieve that one and it was in special so it all worked out. Thanks to Teri we were able to move into a bigger unit on special too. Thanks Teri you rock girly! Thanks again!

Victoria was so friendly and helpful while assisting us with getting a new storage unit yesterday. She took us on a tour of the property, offered us different storage materials to protect our stuff, took the time to thoroughly explain all the rules and paperwork that we were signing and just overall made the process quick and hassle free. Also, very clean and tidy property. Especially compared to a couple other local Public Storage locations that I visited before coming to this location.

Teri was extremely helpful and very easy to follow. She gave us a full rundown of all of our options, and help us find the one that suited us best for the least amount of money! I would highly recommend calling Teri first for all of your storage needs! Not only did she have storage available, but she walked us through the best ways to protect the things we were storing. She really went above and beyond to make a sometimes difficult situation one that we were comfortable with.

Absolutely hate this place! Go for a small independent storage center over this mass chain that only cares about money. They entice you to make a review right away after the first encounter so they look good, but then the customer service and CARE is completely lacking! How do you think they have so many of the same generic reviews? I am horrified that I gave this place full stars at their request! They recruit these reviews before they show their real face. Youll see.
