they seem like nice folks, a little harried at times but eager to help. The first time they fixed my sony vaio, it was an ac adapter, all worked well until i noticed cd drive was jammed shut, they fixed it on the spot though with a few new scratches on it. My latest repair was new hard drive....ill let it go that machine was returned to me with memory stick light on (drivers were not installed, fixed that myself) or a couple new scratches on lid or they said 320g hd drive would be installed (160g hd is what is in machine now) What really irks me is ive had nothing but problems since with sound & one cd burning program (that worked perfectly before)...they have had machine off & off for the better part of a week plus. Still same problems with recording/playback no matter what i do... while i know they are frustrated with the whole issue, they pretty much have told me they cannot do anything more... Sony service has told me they think its a driver issue & are for willing to work at it (for $$) so if i want to use that program, i need to cough up more cash.... i guess the moral of my review is that for the bare bones basics, CompRite is mostly ok. If you use your computer for more than the basics and/or programs that they are not familiar.....be aware.....

Went in here for the first time today morning because I was sick and tired of my computer running so slow! I waited almost 5 minutes just for it to get to the main screen. I live in the area and drove by this place many times but never really had a reason to come in. The place is very clean and has lots of inventory which I will come back to for future phones and laptops. Anyway, they charged me a whole lot cheaper than Best Buy quoted just to LOOK at my PC! I was shocked, they also upgraded my computer to a solid state drive and that should boost the speed quite a bit. I mainly chose this place because they offered to help me right away over the phone, when I called Best Buy they put me on hold for 5 minutes and then said I had to pay 99.99 to bring it in for diagnostics. These folks instantly told me my issue and gave me the price to fix it. Very kind sales guys, they definitely care about their customer service unlike the big box stores. I will be back with future needs and will refer all of my friends and family. Thanks guys!

I dont usually write reviews, but I felt this small computer store needed a shout out. I received excellent service and a good sale when I purchased a computer last summer They threw in a carrier case and a 2 year maintenance contract at no extra charge.. But that is not what moved me to write this review. I recently had my laptop stolen. I did not have the information needed to file a police report. Jim, the manager went out of his way to look up my sale and provide the information and call me, I really appreciate the excellent customer service, repair and sale. It is a small shop and not overwhelming when a tech novice such as myself walks in. So, needless to say...I was a return customer and would recommend this store to anyone looking for excellent service with their computer. Happy 2013!.

I smashed the screen on my laptop and was in Portland for a long weekend. I took it in to Bestbuy and all they could do was send it in to HP, so I looked up a few local places. CompRite came up with good reviews and advertised specifically about screen replacements. I took my laptop in, and they had the screen on hand and were able to fix it and have it ready for me the next day. The cost was in the range that other places had quoted to me ($160) but they got it done way faster. While hopefully I wont need their services again, I would definitely take my electronics there the next time something goes wrong. My only problem is that their SE store is now on Washington St. near Mall 205, not Foster Rd. Hopefully theyll update their address on their website and google soon.

I had my phone repaired here. I took my phone to the clackamas location and they referee me to this location telling me that they specify in android devices. I took it here and they did an amazing job. Eugene took care of me explaining what they would do and gave me a quote. I asked him to make it as hassle free as possible and thats exactly what he did. He called me giving me an update on what has been done and when it would be ready. I came in a couple days later after I dropped it off and he went through the device with me showing me that everything did in fact work. Highly recommend them they specialize in android device and will fix just about anything for you. They do it at a reasonable price and a reasonable timeframe . Definitely come here with any problems.

I went into this computer shop looking for a job... The kid sitting behind the counter totally ignored me and everyone who walked in the door.. The manager was trying to scam this lady out of her money and laptop it seemed. He was saying she paid the $129 check in fee.... ( what is that)?? there signs all over the front of the store say $89 flat rate any computer..... and when i actually got to talk to the mangaer.. he was RUDE!! told me to email him my qualifications.. i asked what the minimum qualifications were and he said " Dude just email me, i have 3 customers in here"... No way would I ever work for this place. its a total scam and they are going to rip off everyone that walks through the doors.. I hope this place gets shut down ASAP!!!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND/OR MONEY HERE! Scammers! Paid $169 to have them buy and install a NEW Zotac GeForce GTX 460. They sent me home with a USED card that wasnt even a Zotac. Got blue lines all over the screen. Took it back, the husky Russian guy straight up said I would have to pay more if I want a new Zotac card installed and they can only offer me back $169 in STORE CREDIT if I take my computer back with my broken card. So I disputed the charge. Overpriced used stuff, much cheaper online, trust me, I almost bought a used iPad mini for $300, I asked what generation it was, the guy said gen 1, I laughed and guy knocked it down to $220, I still laughed. This place is not legit. DO NO WASTE YOUR TIME AND/OR MONEY HERE!

These guys are con men all the way. Their website says flat fee charge, We provide ALL necessary repair services at no additional charge. That is only for diagnostics, once it is determined what is wrong then they charge you additionally for the repair, on top of the flat fee. Once I told them that I wanted the computer back without repair, they stated they had already done the repair because they assumed I would pay for it. It took them less than 5 minutes to put the old parts back in and give it back to me. So $149 diagnostic and $150 repair bill for a repair that would take less than 5 minutes to do. I dont have a problem paying for a repair but that is ridiculous. I recommend staying away from these guys.
