Let me be clear about this. I gave them a computer to work on, I knew what the problem was but didnt have the tools or time to do it. They stated they would do the work required but instead of the small fix of one small piece to a port, they told me they do a bigger fix that is standard whenever they go to fix this certain port. Initially, they fix the whole motherboard of the small port. A $4 part fix turned into a $36 fix. I thought okay, I can understand that. The spot where they earn their one star is when they take 4 weeks to do the job, they said it would be done within 2 weeks. They also told me after 2 weeks that it would be done that day, (day 14) but then it took them an extra WEEK. And I was already initially told it would only cost $100 that day that they said it would be done. It wasnt completed that day and instead was finished another day but when I FINALLY got my computer back there was an extra $40 tacked onto the price and the absolute BEST part of it all is that they told me they could fix another part on my computer and explained that it was broken before I brought it in and was 100% necessary otherwise my screen would break, I called their bullshit on it, came in, paid and picked up my laptop only to see that there was nothing wrong with it that needed initial fixing. Theyre slow, and are only in it for the money. Sorry guys but that really pissed me off. Should have not been lazy and fixed it myself. Dont call me and tell me its going to be done when its actually going to take a lot longer.

I came in because I thought my charging port on my computer was broken and then they quickly help me figure out that it was my AC adapter that wasnt working. I was then told that I could get a cheap one at a store near buy that resells such items. They were a big help because I needed to use my computer because classes were starting. Both employees are very knowledgeable and I would definitely recommended coming here over any where else.

Adept Computer Services was very helpful , friendly and reasonable about their prices (a fact any UO student can appreciate). They were able to repair my computer quickly (same-day) and get it back to me so I could get back to working on my graduate school work. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs their computer repaired as they do good work and get jobs turned around quickly. Thank you!

Josh at Adept Computers was great. He was extremely helpful and fixed my computer in a day. He was open about everything he was doing and didnt overcharge me. I would have paid more than what he asked for the great work he did. I definitely recommend this place and Ill be coming back if anything happens to my computer. Appreciate it Josh.

Mike was very friendly and helped me diagnose my problem over the phone. Instead of trying to get me to bring it in, he assessed based on the info about my low-end computer it would not be worth fixing. I really appreciate the honesty and integrity!
