I work for a small business, and we have been using Jim for about a year. He comes out to the business every three months, clears out any viruses or other nasties that might have hit our system, and gets our network in wonderful working order. Jim is friendly, efficient, very knowledgeable, and great to work with. He set us up on a backup system, and has advised us regarding any problems that have popped up between servicing without hesitation. I would recommend Portland PC Repair to anyone that asks, (and have recommended him to friends) and will usetheir services for my own pcs and laptops at home. His rates are very reasonable, too. By the way, I have been reading the reviews, and this is a real review. I also do not know why anyone would want to spam a business, especially a local business that is so good to work with. I took in a Dell E510 that was so messed up it wouldn’t even start. I would just get a blue screen. I was very worried my data, very important pictures of my parents and kids was gone but Jim checked it out quick and reassured me the data was still there and he would get it. He told me I would have it back the next day and to my amazement he called early the next morning and told me it was ready to go and all my data was saved. He also gave me information on how to back up incase this happened again. He set me up with all the hardware and showed me how to use it. I can’t express enough thanks to these guys and I’m glad there around

Do you have PC problems? fed up with "tech support" doesnt support? This is the number one place to call. I stumbled upon Jim by accident over a year ago and cant sing his praises high enough. His rates are more than reasonable, his work efficient, knowledgeable and professional, keeping cost to a minimum. I work with 2 desk tops and one lap-top computer and Jim keeps them in top running shape. His response to Help calls is fast and work is equally reliable. I have recommended Portland PC Repair to everyone I know. Thanks for always being there Jim.

I just want to thank you for helping me out with my office pcs. Like I told you when you were out, I had three other "More Expensive" companies come out to fix the same issues within the last 6 months and they left me with most of the issues still remaining. When you left my pcs were running like they did when I 1st bought them! Its been 2 months since you were here and "Im sorry but I dont need to call you out again" At least not yet,but you can be assured that I will be calling you when for my next pc issues! I used Portland PC Repair to fix my personal computer. The work was done quick and the price was great. (I had this same computer repaired a few years ago by a different repair shop and it was almost twice as much for less work). I then called them out to my place of work to repair and service our office computers and help with networking and other computer issues. I am very happy with the service. The work was done fast at an excellent price. Will use again - they are now our official computer maintenance company!

Decided to try Portland PC Repair after reading all the excellent reviews and I could not be happier! Dropped off my machine yesterday afternoon and it was up and running this morning. I did not shop prices so cant say where they are relative to others, but the cost seemed low to me. It is difficult to quantify incredibly fast service and outstanding personality, but both were fabulous which made the overall experience extremely good. I highly recommend this shop. - Bob

This guy is not a professional and doesnt really know anything. I took my laptop to him when it started to not boot correctly. I thought the OS or hard drive was corrupt... He told me that the motherboard may be fried, there was nothing he could do, and referred me to his "friend" after charging me $29 to look at it. Not trusting/believing him, I took it somewhere else, and got the hard drive replaced without issue. At least hes not a crook, just another idiot.

I had had periodic problems with viruses that were not detected/stopped by the BIG anti-virus software products on my PC. I mentioned my frustration to a friend who referred me this service. Jim not only recovered my system from a hard crash but also installed a suite of software that has kept my system clean ever since. I enjoy Jims professionalism, his ready availability, reasonable rates and friendly demeanor.

I had to have a new disk put into my laptop and didnt want to break anything. These guys were half the price of geek squad and were obviously geeks. It was nice to see a shop *not* run by teenagers. I have a teenage son, and often Im sure he could fix some things but Id rather stick with someone who absolutely knows whats up. Thanks again!!

Portland PC Repair has repaired 2 computers for us - tremendously fast response (he came within 2 hours of being called on a holiday) and we are extremely pleased with the service, the results and the reasonable pricing. We have used James for several years for our PC repairs and problems. He is always very quick to respond and usually comes out the next day. His prices are very reasonable, we never feel like he is taking advantage. We recommend him highly!!
