Grant and Dave have been repairing, upgrading and servicing all of our Win 2000 desktop, Win Vista laptop, HP and Dell Win 7 computers plus our MAC Pro tower computer for the last 5 years. They solved every problem which we had been experiencing from hard drive failure, sluggish performance, needed operating system upgrades to data recovery and even the restoration of an esoteric dual monitor function on a 15 year old PC which no other computer techs could manage to figure out. Recently 2 of our PCs suffered a very severe virus infection and not only did they clean up the computers, but they also installed better anti-malware protection. They performed all of this work according to a very modest rate scale which certainly does not fully reflect their high level of knowledge and expertise concerning a diverse range of computer repair. Most recently Dave and Grant recovered 23 GB of data from a HDD which had crashed and had been lost for 10 years that contained photographs and art work which were compiled from over 60 years of our familys history. As we were once again able to view these lost treasures I was very thankful for the saints who had so deftly recovered them. And if it should be that they are not actually saints, then they are surely the St. Bernards of computer repair...

Portland Support is definitely a company that is trying to generate repeat business. They doing it by excellent customer service and fair pricing. I had problems with my newer portable computer and took it to one of the large office stores. They sent it away, said it had hardware problems, and fixed it. But it was very expensive. 3 months later the problem resurfaced. I thought I would give Portland Support a try and dropped it off with them. Later that day they called and said "Did you know the computer was still under warranty? A memory chip went bad. " They offered to take care of all contact with the manufacturer and a week later (after a replacement part arrived) returned my computer for no charge. After that I have had Portland Support do several other things. Service has always been excellent. Staff have been very good about explaining things and have always been very pleasant. Ive found my computer service company.

Grant saved my day. I landed at Portland on Monday for an interview scheduled on Wednesday. On Monday night laptop says "hard drive not found". What a bummer! I had my talk half ready on my laptop. However I had a backup on dropbox but still I did not have money to buy a new laptop. I was very lucky to find the Grant online. He answered my call and I met him immediately. He was busy with 9 other laptops waiting to be fixed. But he was kind enough to understand my situation and immediately started working on my issue. He fixed it and also thought me how to fix if the problem repeats. His shop is like museum and you will love at all the pictures and other objects in his store. I came back home and prepared for interview from where I left. He helped me during the most crucial time. I will sure recommend Grant for any of your computing issues.

Grant has been helping me with my computer for over five years now. I am a senior living in an assisted living community in Portland, and Grant has always made it easy by providing free computer assistance over the phone or driving to my location. Two years ago Grant volunteered to mentor our computer club at my retirement community. He has been visiting us every week to assist, teach, and even donate computer equipment. Grant and David have always provided professional, accurate, and honest advice. It is obvious that their drive stems from a deep seated passion to serve their community. Grant helped me select and set up a new PC I needed for my business. Ive been a MAC guy, still am, but needed the PC to run some CAD and CAM programs. We found a great deal on an Asus with and i7 chip. I had it shipped directly to Mobile PC for set up. Within a couple hours after it was delivered, we were rocking. Grant has always been available for assistance on not only the new PC, but also my kids laptop which was acting up. Im happy to have found such skilled and dedicated Geeks in my neighborhood. This is old fashioned service. They really care if your stuff is working or not. That kind of help is hard to find these days. Say hello from me!

Exceptional service and very reasonable rates. I have been a small business owner for over 12 years and this is the best service I have found in Portland. Grant is extremely knowledgeable and worked with my deadline to have laptop in hands by the time I left on my business trip. I had a bad sector and he said to bring it back or there was a chance it could crash again. He was right. They put in a new hard drive and transferred my data - I was shocked & pleased at how inexpensive the bill was!! The computer now works better (and faster) than ever.

Grant and Dave have both helped me immensely with my various computer issues. I am a senior and not very knowledgeable about technology. They are both patient with my ignorance and are helpful in teaching me how to handle the problems. They built me a new computer, which works smoothly. Grant switched me to gmail. $120, had my computer for a week. Didnt fix the problem. Thanks for nothing. Not sending it back in to not have it for a week and possibly get charged again. When I called they implied that I will have to pay again for them to fix what they said they already fixed. Looking closely I can see where they pried the computer apart. My computer was perfect before that. I dont get to buy things like computers very often, so thanks guys for messing up something I cherish.

I brought my heavily infected computer in without much hope of it getting fixed. The infection was deep in the computer and very complex to remove, luckily for me they really know what there doing, they have been at it for a long time and it shows in their work, they are very thorough, they get it done fast and with a great price on top on all this they are very understanding of the customer. I couldnt ask for more when it comes to computer service.
