I am an owner of several multi-plex rental units. I called and spoke to Sandi about an issue I was having with one of my units, at that time we scheduled an appointment for service for the next day at 3pm. At about 3:40 my tenant called me and said they hadnt showed up. My tenant had called D & F directly to see when they would be there. My tenant said he spoke to Randy (who was extremely rude and unprofessional), and Randy and said he didnt have any record of an appt. that day and basically buzz off. I then called and spoke to Randy and tried to explain the conversation Sandi and I had the previous morning. Randy told me he didnt care to hear my story and that we dont have an appointment. I asked him to call Sandi (the owner) and see what they could do for me since they dropped the ball and I was certain Sandi would recall our conversation. Randy refused and continued to be rude and disrespectful. I told him that the reason I called them in the first place was that I had used them before at my previous employer. Randy told me that he didnt believe that I ever used them before (calling me a liar), so I offered to give the service address and he wouldnt even take it. Next Randy said he could send someone out that evening but he would charge me $199.00 to show up since I was making an emergency call. I told him I thought that was ridiculous since they dropped the ball and didnt show up, I asked him again to call Sandi and see if she was willing to charge the non-emergency fee of $99.00 since the original appt. was not after hours. Again he refused. Finally he told me that he was going to risk getting fired and not help me at all. He told me that he could tell that once his plumber showed up and told me the price that I would just send his plumber away anyways. Again, I am the owner of several mulit-plex units so money wasnt really an issue but I didnt appreciate being charged an emergency after hours fee when I actually had an appointment that they didnt show up to. Sandi was very nice and helpful, even though the appointment got screwed up. Randy was terrible and really should be fired. If I was the owner of this company I would never allow my employees to treat my customers that way. In this case its especially harmful to D & F because my regular plumber just retired and I was looking for a long term plumber for all of my properties. I use plumbers on a very regular basis.

Where to start? First off, the job should have taken a couple of days but due to constant rescheduling, showing up when they werent scheduled and not showing up when they were, and giving my landlord the runaround for several months when we were trying to get a HAZARDOUS 4 FOOT DEEP hole in the ground they created filled, the job was finally completed 10 months after the first inspection was done. TEN MONTHS for a TWO DAY JOB. To add insult to injury.... the job was to fix a leak in an UNDERGROUND pipe.... a pipe that, despite being reparable and left underground is now jutting up 2 feet out of the ground in an uninsulated outdoor storage closet that will, no doubt be subject to freezing and bursting as - despite it being perfectly capable of remaining underground, they felt the need to install it above ground ..... without even insulating the pipe. This company is awful. They repeatedly pass the buck and blame everyone else for their downfalls too. It took my current (new) landlords a month to get them to actually respond and get the job scheduled to be completed, and a week after they said it would be completed, it was because my landlord demanded a guarantee.

They over charged on parts, labor, parking, everything they could. When I questioned Randy at their office about the high cost of a $399 part he promised to send me an MSRP link from the internet showing me that they charged me a reasonable price for it. He never did. I tracked down the only supplier for this part in our area through the manufacturer and got a price quote on $274. I called Randy again and he made excuses for why he had not sent the MSRP. I said that was OK b/c I tracked it down through their supplier. Upon hearing this Randy grow defensive and accusational. In order to get off the phone with me promised to send a MSRP link again, which he never did. It was typical evasive crook behavior. Beware of their unethical business practices.

After three bids and three different personalities offering solutions to my plumbing needs I decided on D & F. Not only was David (estimator) professional, funny and solution oriented, he was also able to do more than I had actually needed an estimate for for less than all other competitors. The work began quickly, all contractors were on time, courteous, clean and efficient. Above all that, what really stood out to me was Stefans rise above and beyond the call of duty with an issue I had with my tub faucet. They werent responsible for my faucets yet they fixed the issue quickly and were gracious about it. I highly recommend these guys, I will be having them come install all new fixtures when I do my bathroom and kitchen. Plumbers for life...

My parents have done business with D & F Plumbing for over 50 years. First we resided in the neighborhood on Humboldt and moved away when I turned 12 and continued using their services. When I got my own home I to used them needless to say had I not seen my parents as satisfied customers I wouldnt have bothered. As I grew in my position in the workforce we also used D & F Plumbing and believe you me, the first job they tackled for us was no small feat it was fir tree roots in the water pipes which called for them to bring in a backhoe to dig down far enough to get at the area for repair in a tight area. My Mother is still living in her own home at 93 and this morning finds need in plumbing repair as usual she called on faithful D & F plumbing!!

Sandi Warren and the team at D&F Plumbing are nothing short of phenomenal! I recently moved my business and found that one of our sinks wouldnt drain, upon further investigation, it appeared that during a remodel there had been drywall pieces, gravel and even glass put in the garbage disposal! One call, and one of her super-efficient team members got out here, took a look and had the whole problem solved, part replaced, and was done before I even realized what had happened. It was like a guardian angel of plumbing was sent down to solve our problems. I will NEVER hire anyone else beside D&F Plumbing for as long as I am in business. Thanks again!

I had a plugged drain in the bathroom and a leak in the kitchen sink. I called D & F Plumbing and one of their plumbers just left. I am beyond happy with the service, price and professionalism. He took the time to tell me what was wrong, gave me an estimate and fixed all my problems in record time. He then showed me how to check the drains myself and how to clear them. Way above and beyond the call of duty. He also gave me some tips regarding problems that may come up in the future. When I have another plumbing need, I will most certainly call D & F again. I cant stress strongly enough what a great experience this was.
