Terrible, terrible experience - and its still not over. An inspector with the city came to give us the green light so we can start using our gas furnace after Wolfers installed it and they found TWO installation components that were not up to code. Then someone from NW Natural came to turn on the gas and they had to spend hours trying to get it to work. We were in below-freezing temperatures with a 3-year-old so they took pity on us, but the NW Natural inspector noted that its not a part of his job to do this and that whoever installed it was "lazy" and did a sloppy job. I have called Wolfers to ask when they plan to finish the installation but didnt get an answer to my question and its now been a week since they installed it. They also destroyed the door to the furnace before even bringing it here and said they would replace it but still havent. I paid for them to pull gas lines to all my appliances and they only did the ones to the furnace. Ive now called the salesman, their manager, and their customer service line to ask what is going on and everyone agrees that it was in my contract and I paid for it, but no one has an answer as to when this will be changed. Their customer service are extremely rude and condescending, and their sales people will try to cut every corner possible. They told me a 4.99% financing rate at first, and then they casually sent me a contract for 8.99% without ever mentioning to me that anything changed. Good luck trying to get a hold of their manager! She is in a perpetual "conference call" - for like 4 days straight, regardless of how screwed you are because of their lack of ability to get anything done. Did I mention that they told me the furnace would be installed on December 29 and then on December 28 when I called to confirm they said "Lets take a look at our calendar... January 4th sounds good?" So they had never scheduled me in the first place, even though the only reason I signed with them at the beginning of December was because they promised it would get done by the end of December. Once installed, the furnace didnt get turned on until 2 days later because they kept messing up. So we were without heat in 20-something degree weather for over a week. They said theyd drop off heaters for us but never did. I have filed an official complaint with NW Natural and asked that they remove them from their preferred service providers because they are a liability.

A True Five Star Company! I appreciate Wolfers willingness to answer my questions and help us through the decision making process. They were dedicated and professional. Wolfers installation team was courteous, professional, and arrived on time. Even more impressive were the results of their efforts! The Wolfers team helped us convert from 80+ year old, gravity fed, heating oil fired furnace, (which originally began service as a saw dust burner), to a new state of the art natural gas furnace with new duct work. The Lennox heating system works like a champ and we have heat in every room! I cant get over the fact that on the coldest days I didnt see my breath upon entering the master bedroom, (still have nightmares of shivering under 6 inch down comforter while fully clothed). Last year, the following energy reduction projects were completed: 95% efficient Lennox furnace installed - Wolfers; programmable thermostat installed - Wolfers; duct and returns installed to both living levels - Wolfers: insulated all attic spaces to R30 or above - Me; restored and improved 10 very drafty original windows - Me; caulked around windows - Me; installed attic ventilation - Cascade Roofing. We have received our first two heating bills and we were amazed! we were hoping to see $100 savings per month, but we found much more than that. This heating season our December and January NW Natural bills were $80 and $90. Last heating season our heating oil cost us $350 and $450 for the same time periods. This is 80% savings! I highly recommend Wolfers Heating! Wolfers will do what you want, but you should ask questions and listen to their recommendations. Ill be a life time customer!

Be careful trusting this company. Update (Jan 2017): After they went under the house 3-4 times trying to find out why our furnace wasnt blowing, my contractor went under while remodeling the kitchen. He came back up and told me he needed to bring his HVAC guy in to do some work because a lot of the pipes werent sealed and some were just blowing directly into the crawl space. This is only 1-2 months after Wolfers told me the ducts were sealed fine. ARG. I should have know that most of the reviews are fake on here. In hindsight, why would someone have 236 reviews on a heating company. Most restaurants dont have that many. Also in hindsight the reviews are all written the same. Since the company touts their good reviews I paid more for their service (I contacted them due to their relationship with Costco). It was a mistake. They told us they would replace the pump when they replaced the furnace. They did not. We paid extra for a wifi thermostat. They didnt include this. They didnt give us any introduction to how to use the equipment. We also wanted them to check our air conditioner. Im not sure they did because they said nothing. I wish I would have paid less at Anktil (where we got our other quote). Edit: we also had them check that all our ducts were working under our house (and clean them). They said this was done. However, after they installed the new furnace, one duct wasnt blowing at all and 4 others were barely blowing. We actually had a slug crawl our of one of our ducts while they were here to fix the furnace. We said something, and they said that it must have been living in there [for 2 weeks] since the ducts were reconnected. Really???

On the day of the install both pre-determined locations for the compressor unit were shot down by the installation team and the compressor was "grudingly" place on my deck. At the time it seemed like a great way to just get the job done and find a way to work around it. Almost immediately everyone, guests included, discovered that to get into my home you have to walk through the spray created from the fan unit blowing directly into your face and all over you and whatever you are carrying. Under the impression that they would be back for a "follow up" we waited to bring this up and return the dolly they left behind. Never heard a word until the landlord came for a visit and stated "I wish I would have paid the other guy the extra $2,000 to have that where we wanted it." That about sums up how everyone feels about the experience. As far as the equipment goes. It functions great as long as all the doors are open at night. When you have guests or need to close doors, you will either cook or freeze. We are now bidding to have the first unit moved to where we originally planned for it and installing a second unit, hopfully for under the $2,000 additional we should have paid in the first place. Im sorry Craig and Harley. The equipment works great, but had we gone with putting it under my deck on the south side as planned and not facing into my Corbett east wind ON my deck, you would have gotten 4 stars.
