This place is a terrible choice for any mac user to go to. I brought my mac in and was charged $300 to replace the DC jack. The attendant also convinced me to buy a $20 charger. The DC jack looks like crap and the charger is used. My computer still doesnt charge occasionally and I have to constantly check if its charging or not. My computer is running hotter than before, theres new sounds coming from within it that I have never heard before and the power cord is so hot that Im afraid it will damage the crappy DC jack that was installed. On top of all of this, the receipt has absolutely no information put on it aside from the cost of the parts. Theres no cost of the flat fee, theres no telling what they did to my computer inside and when I asked the attendant only said "oh, well we replaced the DC jack and a few other components that were damaged inside your computer." I asked again and he pointed to the back bottom portion of the computer and said "all along here there was damage from your previous DC jack." When I started my computer at home, my mac no longer booted into bootcamp Windows, but booted into my original Mac HD and my desktop was rearranged--why mess with my software when its a hardware fix? and why rearrange my desktop? In my experience of Computer Repair Shops, they give you detailed information on what parts the replaced, the cost of each part, the cost of labor and knowledge of whether or not the parts are used. I wish I had coughed up extra money to go to a professional shop. The attendant however was incredibly friendly and a good salesman. tl;dr Quality = poor. Poor parts used to repair my computer. Appeal: Poor. only a little cheaper than professional mac repair shops. Service: Poor. No knowledge of what they did, what the costs actually were, incredibly vague receipt.

After my screen randomly went black on my hp dv 9000 laptop , I tried everything I could to fix it myself. The on line source recommended holding down the power button for 30 sec while unplugged and the battery was out. That worked for a 20 min, but the screen went black again. I ran my trend micro scan and nothing helps. Once it completely stopped working, I ran trend rebootable recovery tool and still nothing works. So I got on the web and this store had great reviews, so I brought my laptop into their store by mall 205 Jearld and Nick were super friendly and let me know theyd call before doing any repairs. Got a call next day later to let me know my computer ran for 1 straight day without black-screening and was ready to pick up. They charged me $74 and let me know that if it did it again, I could bring it back at no charge. I brought it home and within an hour the screen went black on me again. I called them and they told me to bring it back in. When I got there, the guy asked if i have any important data that i need for school and i said yaa (2 document files ) they back it up for me on cd. So I brought it back to the store and dropped it off. 2 days later I got a message with the news - something on my motherboard (integrated video card) had gone defective and would cost $273 to repair (which, from other peoples experiences that I read online, is a great price - sounds like geek nerd tries to charge close to $495!). But I decided it was not worth it on an almost 5 year old laptop. On my last visit to pick up my laptop, they knew me by nickname. My laptop had given them a run for their money and it sounded like they enjoyed the challenge of figuring out what was wrong with it. Wecan tell they like their jobs there.

I have been in countless times, and I decided to write a review this time, to share my absolute outstanding experience. These guys well deserve it, for all of their hard work! So I had bought my daughter the new iPhone, last month. iPhone 6s I believe. Sadly she dropped it in water. We had bought a case and she didnt put it on, kids will be kids. So I took it to Apple, since I had their warrenty, and they basically told me the phone is done. They were going to exchange the phone with another one, with a deductable, of $300. My daughter had already put a lot of pictures in the phone, she couldnt lose. I still had some faith in the phone so I took it to Comprite, or Fixoid I believe now it is. They ran a diagnostics on it, and then recommended a water treatment for it. In about 3 and a half days, they had called me to tell me that it all works! I literally had so much joy, I screamed! These guys are soooo good, I cant express how happy I am to have these guys around. I dont know what I would have done, without them. Please give them a try, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Ben so much, for all of your hard work, and to everyone that works here, thank you!! I will be coming back every single time I need something. I will recommend you guys to everyone! You deserve it! Best of luck to you guys!!!

I Dropped my Samsung galaxy S4, and the screen broke. Sprint said the phone was so old they couldnt fix it, and I didnt have insurance anyway so I was appearing to be out of luck... I had way too many important contacts, photos, and data on the phone that had not been saved or transferred or backed up and was basically desperate... I went around town looking for a repair shop that wouldnt charge me an arm and a leg to fix it, and when I called into them, not only did they beat the lowest quote I had received, but both Oleg and Ben were so helpful and courteous that I immediately felt like I was in good hands. When I came in to the store, they not only had my part in stock, for a phone that is over three years old, but they said they could fix it for me in an HOUR!!! and on top of that, I brought in a few of my old electronic devices because they offer trade in toward your bill if you have some items that they can use... Overall, if I could give them 6 stars I would, not only due to their convenience and professionalism, but the guys have great personalities, are friendly, do not talk down to you, make you feel at ease, and work quickly to get you out of there fast. Thank you Fixoid, I will be referring anyone I can to your shop, I was very impressed. EC

DO NOT TAKE YOUR COMPUTER TO THIS SHOP. They cant even be trusted to get your phone number right, or to bother to call the alternate phone number you give them. I talked to a guy several days ago who gave me his diagnosis for my desktop: namely, that the whole motherboard is shot ("I dont know why; it wont boot up") and that my graphics card is also kaput. I agree to an astronomical price and he guy says theyll order the parts, I say OK. Today, several days later, I call again and the guy REPEATS THE DIAGNOSIS. But this time he says I need to come in and pay for the parts before he orders them. So all this time Ive been waiting, nothing has happened. When I go in, I notice the signs on the wall of the shop: "All computers left for more than 14 days become the property of CompRite." No wonder they didnt bother calling me. . . So I elected to take my computer elsewhere. I was waiting for my payment ($109 just for a diagnosis) to be processed when the guy pointed out the dust inside the computer, and offered to clean it. . .for $30. DUDE. I have my own can of air; itll take me about ten seconds. These people are the AOL of computer repair shops--theyre looking for people who are ignorant enough to be taken advantage of. Do yourself a favor and stay away.
